Really liked this place! Chicken kabob was good (tad dry) but their hummus was to die for. I've been craving it ever since

Food is amazing but staff has poor customer service. I called to place a phone order and was told it would take 1 hr and 20 mins. I wasn't asking for delivery so then I asked if I dined in would it still take 1 hr and 20 to get my food...her words were " it would still take a long time but your food would be coming" ....ummmm ok.. what ever that means. Maybe I'm just really craving their food and was heartbroken to hear her say that but she could've conveyed the same message in a more professional manner. I can look passed this incident and will give them another chance because the food is always flavorful and great portions. read more

Great salmon , and Greek salad , nice and friendly staff. We will go back if we go back to the region.

This place is kinda interesting. I haven't decided if that's a good thing or a bad thing. It is a cross between self serve and semi service, if that even makes sense. You order at the counter. They give you a number and bring you the food. They do, however, control the beverage section. My first dining experience there was during their grand opening. It was quite intimidating as the whole family of the owners dominated the place and when I walked in, i got the look from everyone that seemed to say I didn't belong there. Not very welcoming. Maybe they intended the grand opening to be a family event seeing I was the only other customer other than the family. Another time I visited, I brought my sister with me for a late lunch. There were maybe two other customers aside from us. We placed our order. Got our order and everything was fine. We emptied our glasses of water and were both needing a refill. The girl from the counter was walking around the dining area, so we waited to get her attention to ask for more water. For a half empty place, she took an awful long time to get to us. My sister and I started quietly joking about some imaginary customers she was attending to. But I found it really annoying having to wait so long to get my water refilled especially when there was hardly any other customer. While the food is good, I found their customer service a little lacking. read more

A friend recommended this place to me when I was complaining about the lack of decent food in this area. I happened to be down in that part of Temecula, so it was the perfect time to check this place out. The restaurant was busy, but I think that's a good sign when you go somewhere. I'm much more wary of places that are completely empty in the middle of lunch. I got the chicken kabob plate to go and an order of falafel. The portions were way bigger than I anticipated - I could've split the entree and the falafel. The falafel was probably my favorite thing. It was cooked perfectly. The chicken kabob plate was good too (I really liked the rice). The one downside for me was the baklava. That poor baklava looked and tasted like it has been refrigerated and then sitting out. It was all squished and flat and the flavor definitely left something to be desired. I don't think that's a reason to not go back, though. Still 5 stars for me :) read more

My boyfriend took me there and it was really surprising for me cuz i never been in such restaurant befor I loved it! So did my boyfriend. He got the chicken kabob plate and I got the beef kabob plate. Everything came to us timely, was fresh and tasty and just flat-out amazing. read more

Ordered three times through DoorDash and food always tastes fresh and very delicious. Servings are generous as well.

We came in hoping that our favorite "Kabob House" of the same name was back in business after moving out of a previous location further east on Highway 79. Used to love the food there back before it became "Blaze Pizza" which is part of a chain of restaurants. Long story short, this "Kabob House" is a different owner, but still worth trying. My wife had the combo plate with a skewer each of steak and chicken, with a Greek salad and pita bread, hummus and yogurt sauce. Regardless what other reviewers said the Greek salad had a yummy dressing, feta cheese, olives, red onion and tomatoes. The meat on the skewers was hot off the grill (we ate our salads while the food was cooking) and the hummus was some of the freshest, best tasting my wife has had at a local restaurant. I tried it and I have to agree! Since I'm avoiding carbs (rice, pita) I got two kafta kabobs (ground beef) and a ceasar salad. The salad had a very well done dressing and the salty, crumbled cheese really added flavor! The beef was a bit on the mild side but it was much tastier with a smear of garlic sauce. The dinner with two fountain drinks was around $31. The do come around to the table and ask if you want refills which is nice. read more

Only giving this business 4 stars as I plan to return as a satisfied customer to validate their consistency. I had my food ordered to go and was afraid they may rush it since it was past midday. To my surprise everything tasted super fresh and full of flavors. The portions were great, the meat tender and juicy and most of all I did not have to wait all day despite my big order. read more

I really enjoy the Kabob House! Friendly staff and delicious food! Definitely the best Gyro I have had in a long time.

Coming from a Greek guy that cooks his own meditation food this food was really really good. Super fresh tasting all the way around. I had the combo kabob plate with lamb and steak and it was really good. The 4 sides was a great option but I had greek salad which was off the hook. They had this garlic sauce on the side which was GREAT! The Tsaziki was great too. Wife had the kabob chicken sandwich looked great too. I will be coming back for sure !! Thanks guys for the great food read more

One of my favorite places, EVER!!! The food is always amazing! I either get a chicken or beef kabob plate and am never disappointed! I grew up with middle eastern cuisine and often find that most places aren't as authentic as I am used to, not the case here! Everything is seasoned perfectly and the portions are large! My husband and I always split a meal and it is more than enough! I can't rave enough about the quality of food here! Everything is amazing! read more

I fully recommend this service, nice tase and great food and service. I enjoy the outdoor sitting area as well as the internal Area.

The food is so delicious! I have only ordered Togo & it's definitely my go to Greek food. The chicken kabobs are my favorite. I gave a 4 star review because a couple of times that I've ordered some of my food was missing or not correct so I suggest checking before leaving. Very very good! read more

i love this place , come here all the time. Favorite type of food as well. Employees are lovely Lilly helped me out last time , but whoever you get i'm sure you'll be happy with the service and food ! read more

We ordered 3 combo plates with sides of hummus to go. When we got home, there was no hummus on any plate. We called the Kabob house and ask for a future discount and they refused. They said we can drive back for it and that's it! The drive is 15 min one way, and no way we were driving all the way back! Horrible customer service. We will not be returning. read more

The best! The hummus was amazing! The baba ganoush was creamy with just the right amount of smokiness. The dolmas were perfect. They had tomatoes in them (or tomato sauce or something red) that made them different, and better, than others I've enjoyed. The falafel were shaped like Hostess mini-donuts; they weren't greasy or dry. Wonderful! The Turkish bread was top-notch as was the service. The vegetarian platter at $12 was a great deal. The place was very clean to boot. Although I enjoyed my 805 cerveza-style beer, I wished they carried some IPA. I am definitely headed back to this gem. read more

This place is over hyped on Temecula Foodies. I don't know where to start but first the rice was terribly disappointing it was like the artificial boxed pilaf I was served in elementary school for lunch, no flavor not fresh or authentic. The Falafel, very bland the most bland falafel I've had I don't even know how to describe it was missing a whole lot of something. The Salad, more ice berg lettuce than anything not much toppings. The only thing that was good of the whole meal was the Greek dressing other than I'll pass and only sticking with Pacific Pita. read more

Tasty pita sandwich. Lots of filling, no cheapos on the gyro meat. I will say that this is best eaten at a table. Tried in the van and had to pull over. It's a big sandwich on fresh, soft pita. Makes a damned mess if you're trying to drive and eat ( ° °) I'll be back. read more

Great food and great service. Ashley was our wonderful server, friendly and curious. What a great experience.

We felt so welcome as soon as we walked in. Jennifer was absolutely lovely! Great clean place. The food was quick and absolutely delicious. My boyfriend and I ate everything we both ordered. I had the combo kabob (lamb and shrimp) and he had the shrimp kabob. Yum! We will be back! read more

By far the best Mediterranean food around. The salad and the chicken Shawarma supreme are amazing.

Really enjoyed the food. Lemon chicken soup was so good. One of my favorite things to eat. So I very happy they did a great job. We ordered the veggie plate, chicken & shrimp skewers plate and a Gyros plate. Rice pudding and babausa to finish. We will definitely be back. This place is now our go to. Great service great food read more

Ordered Catering food for a B'Day party of 35 people, after visiting the restaurant twice and trying the dishes we liked. The day of the party food came in late & cold, no courtesy calls were made to inform us they are running late. Once we opened the dishes we order we found out were all wrong, dishes we paid for were missing. Went back to the restaurant the next day to find out what was going on. They insisted they gave all the dishes & did not trust us. Later found out the dessert tray was left in the back room, never found out what happened to the other meat dish. The food was not cheap, prepaid & also gave a good tip upfront & to the driver. Will never go or recommend this place to anyone. Horrible dishonest owners & service. read more

We ate at Kabob House tonight and it was really great! Shrimp Kabob with rice & salad. Carly our server was super helpful and friendly. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back soon! read more

This one we really like! We visit regularly and bring friends. It's one of our favorites and we drive a decent distance to get there, even though there are 3-4 closer choices. The fava bean soup is to die for. We love the kabobs. Chicken is very tender and flavorful (we don't eat red meat so can't comment). The tastes, flavors, and servings are really consistent, too. All portions are very generous. The garlic sauce and hummus are wonderful. They give us lots of pita and condiments. I've never seen such fresh pink pickled turnips at any other Middle Eastern restaurant we've tried. We always have leftovers and take home an extra hummus. read more

That restaurant more than 5 stars The service is pretty much good also the restaurant very clean And the food is another story i ordered salmon plate it was so tasty and juicy And I ordered also a baklava its was so good I will came again more and more read more

Amazing food!! Great taste, the pita was amazing with the garlic sauce!!! The chicken kabob great flavor and it was tender! The Greek salad was awesome! The dressing was perfect! I ordered the plate meal and had it delivered to my hospital that I work at and it was a breeze!! Thank you for the delicious food and smooth delivery!!! I will definitely eat here again for sure! read more

The Kabob House is a great addition to this area. I ordered the Gyro sandwich and the Chicken Kabob sandwich. I like that when you order the sandwich to go, they put the sauce on the side so it doesn't saturate the pita. I think the sandwiches can be a little more plentiful (on the meat side), but they had a great flavor. If they increased the portion size a tad bit, it would certainly lock in a 5 star rating relative to the pricing. read more

Kabob House - Amazing!!! Just come and taste - Mediterranean Near Me - Temecula, California

Food was great. We tried kabob of shrimp, lamb, kafta, chicken, and an order of gyro meat. So many times kabobs are dry. Not these! Everything was moist and tender, seasoned well. Greek salad was great, as was garlic sauce and hummus. (We wanted to try everything so we could cater a party!) I missed having basmati rice (their rice was very fluffy and almost overdone)) but can't complain about anything else! Nice to have them so close. PS this is not a really dine in place. Very fast food/taco shop environment. A little stark but hey it's brand new. We will be back! read more
