Was a little hard to find from the road they don't have a sign on the building my husband happened to see the door and it had name on there was still very hard to see. The food was extremely good we got a lentil soup when we was seated and then told the three things to choose from she said she would be back to see what we had decided on we both chose the mixed grill there is a refrigerator which you choose what sink you want. The food was excellent and service was very good place is clean. I highly recommend coming here for a delicious meal

Had a few things here before and always enjoy it. Staff is warm and greet you with soup. It's delicious. I got the kufta burger. Had to have it bubbles, and got hummus as my side. Presented nicely and delicious

Chicken wrap, mixed grill, eggplant in middle and not shown (but order!) feta fingers :)

10 out of 10, food was delicious, service was exceptional, and make sure you get you a coffee after your meal!!! You won't regret this :)

Very clean, well ran, organized and super friendly establishment. Upon sitting down, a nice amuse bouche of lentil lemon soup which was hot and tasty was immediately brought to the table. We were never given menus but explained they only really had four platters (chicken, beef, Kafta, or mixed) all served with hummus, salad and rice. I had inquired about a wrap for our 12 year old and was told, they did have wraps but my daughter was fine with a mix platter (which I knew was going to be too much food for her). We also ordered the feta cigars which were phenomenal. Simply, feta in phyllo and fried. Delicious. 3 mixed platters come and yeah, large portion. My daughter and I could have shared ($21 each). Everything on the platters was excellent! We did see a burger go by so I was just a tinge off put by not knowing if there was something else I would have gotten as my husband and I usually get two different items and share everywhere we go. Drinks in a cooler and you serve yourself. We got one large Aqua Pana and a pineapple Jarlesco. We packed up one platter and then moved onto macarons, rice pudding and 2 Turkish coffees. Excellent as well! Fresh and very very good. We are from Pittsburgh and stopped on our way home from a golf event for our daughter. We would definitely stop back. It was nice to get whom we think was the owner stop by to see how we were enjoying things. Nice to see these days. Total with 20% (post tax) tip, $121.

Staff is superb. I called ahead to ask if we needed reservations for 6 at 5:45 pm, and they let me know to come on in. The lentil soup was delicious and my two kids loved it. I am a big fan of the eggplant dish, the salad, the rice, and the steak. My husband and kids really liked the lamb chops and the pita. I liked the feta cigars also. Kids shared a rice pudding as we were so full at that point, there was barely enough room. We still had two boxes of kebabs as leftovers, so quite the feast! Come support this local gem!

Food was delicious. Service was pleasant. Ambiance was relaxing. I like the windows and being able to see outside. Nice party room on the side.

I've been around for many decades and dined at many restaurants in many states. Never have I had an experience as warm as at Kabob House. The staff and owner create an atmosphere that makes you feel like you are a guest in his home. Loved the food (especially the hummus!) and the experience.

A little hard to find for first timers but worth the time! The young lady Daniela who greeted me was very helpful and set me up (while I waited for a lamb wrap) with a taste of their soup which was very good. Neat and clean atmosphere and the decor and seating was very nice. The wrap and salad was very good!

Upon sitting down, we were immediately brought out lentil soup. It was puréed and delicious. My friend and I ordered the mixed grill. Their kafta patties were the best I have ever had in my life. She brought us out a side of garlic sauce and hot sauce with the mixed grill. Pita was fresh, everything was delicious and all on one plate so it could all be easily enjoyed together. To top it off we had Turkish coffee to finish our meal! The presentation of the coffee got me first. Then you take the lid off and sip the rich, hot coffee. I could have had 3 more. I'll just get more when I come back!

Tamr Mediterranean Grille - Sizzling Chicken Shawarma Platter Combo Meal with a side of spicy hummus

Mediterranean food is warming and balanced with acidity, savory, freshness and warmth. And that is…read moreeverything you get from Tamr. First off, the atmosphere is inviting and calming. The music is just loud enough to give ambiance but not so loud you can't hold a conversation. So, check one has been ticked. No televisions means you can sit and talk to the people with you without distractions! Now, the service...our server was genuinely lovely and charming. She knew about the subtleties of the food (which was ALL made in-house, including the condiments) and was happy to share the knowledge. Her smile was real and she just made the experience that much higher. So, box two, ticked. Now the food was in another ballpark altogether. The hummus, tahini sauce, and toum sang...they just sang! And instead of a chips and salsa bowl like a Mexican restaurant we were happily greeting with pita, hummus and toum! The lentil soup was creamy and nuanced in seasoning. The texture made it a complete joy to eat. And the kafta and lamb shawarma platters were beyond compare. Juicy, savory and succulent kafta that had just the right bite but no chewiness and lamb seared and expertly charred at the edges with the rice...rolled into the pita and it's one of the best bites of food I have ever had...citrus and bright with herbs and warming spices to balance...a disco party wrapped up in pita I tell you. Now the basbousa...coconut and lemon...it must be what clouds taste like because this was Heaven! And flaky and syrupy pistachio baklava...tears of joy... So, will I go again? Is 10 minutes too soon?

I almost want to make it 3 stars, it's the worst service I've had in years. We got our food before we got our drinks, and didn't even get all the food. We waited about an hour before we could get a glass of water. It wasn't busy. 3-4 parties there total. Because of the service I probably won't be back, I'll just go to the other restaurants that do it just as well. It's a shame

So we ate there on the tables. Very small. Simple menu. All on display. Easy to order. Food doesn't take long somewhere around 10 mins tops. We got 2 chicken shawarma wraps, hummus, and pita. The swarms wrap I got everything but the sumac onions. Not a fan. Wrap was hot grilled and delicious! Chicken had a Smokey kinda flavor and the veggies were crunchy. Pita was warm and did a good job holding it all in. Could have used some tzatziki on it. But it was very good! Hummus also very good. Only downside side is not a lot of choice on drinks. We got a water. But would have liked more variety. It is small and efficient. They do what they do well. The drinks probably too much extra work. Bottom line is that the food is very good. We will go back. When we can eat outside or take out and not go too far. They have wraps and bowls for all the menu items. All looks good. They have soups in the fall. Starting in November. Falafel, hummus, tabouli, gyros, shawarma, fries, and a few other menu items. Definitely worth a visit.
