This is my family's go to place for a healthier non fast food dinner on nights when we are too tired to cook. The chicken shish kabob dinner is my favorite meal along with the hummus and cucumber yogurt dip. The rice is probably my favorite and they give you sooo much! The only thing that hasn't been amazing is the pita bread that comes with your meal or sides. From what I've seen it's not made fresh and it's usually on the drier/harder side. Compared to how great everything else it stands out, but not enough to drop it down to 4 stars. read more

Terrible! I don't know where to begin! The food was SOOOO tasteless that I would rather starve than going back there! Very unprofessional!!! They serve their food in SMALL disposable plates. You get half cooked rice with only ONE kabab that they cut in half so you would think you are getting two! Do NOT go there if you have ANY other choices! Worst experience! Paid $11 for that junk! I've worked in Glendale for about 3 and a half years now and just barely discovered this place?!?! Thanks to my avid foodie friend who dragged me out here, I'm now in love with Kabob Way. I can't go back to Zankou although its a bit different but the Chicken here is so juicy and the beef cooked to perfection. I'm drooling just writing this review. This is a great "fast food" type kebab place. The chicken Lula salad is great. Their house dressing is amazing, chicken moist and flavorful, and for the price, you cant go wrong. I would suggest ordering takeout because sometimes it gets busy and takes a while. Hummus has a smoky taste to it, and is pretty awesome. Pita bread is always soft and delicious as well. Good well priced kabab. It's not the best in my opinion, but it is affordable and a lot more casual than some of the other Armenian establishments in Glendale. The meat is a little dry, I think they may have just overcooked our meat and next time we'd ask them to make it a little rare, but other than that this place is a home run. My co-workers and I have gotten a little bored of the lunch offerings along Brand Blvd., so we have decided to venture out and try a new place off Brand every week. Last Friday, we chose Kabob Way. I had read the reviews on Yelp previously, so I was expecting the fod to be good. We were not disappointed. I had the chicken breast kebob, with jasmine rice and salad. LOVED IT! The chicken was deliciously marinated and juicy. The rice was perfect (man I love jasmine rice!), the salad was just lettuce, nothing fancy. The plate also came with a roasted tomato (which I wished I would have loved, but I didn't), and a pita. I had to ask for garlic sauce, and they gave me a tiny serving. If I would have wanted more, I would have had to buy a side. Luckily, the small portion was plenty as they serve a VERY garlicy garlic sauce. Two of my co-workers had the beef kebob and loved theirs as well. The price was good... just under $10 for a good size plate of food and a beverage. The ambiance is nothing to write home about, but the food far makes up for that. I felt for it being lunch, we got our food within a reasonable wait period. Their parking lot is small, but we were able to get the last available parking spot. I'm not sure how street parking is if their lot is full. We left stuffed and happy. The decor isn't that great, but the food is excellent! I think its funny and kinda tacky how they have ''No heart burn" on there sign out side of the restaurant. My co-workers recommended this place and since they were craving kebabs I was worried because I can't eat meat. They mentioned they have fish so off we went. At first I was skeptical coz the only vegetarian plate they had was the grape leaves. The only fish dish they had was trout. So I was up and decided to take a chance on the boneless trout. I liked the fact that it was grilled and not too much seasoning on the fish. I ordered hummus for $1 and was glad I did. The servings are big. The food was excellent.. I took someones advice and ordered the chicken shish kabob plate and then an extra chicken shish kabob a la carte. Total came out to $11.95. There were about 7 pieces of chicken with each, not all white meat. The chicken was good, the hummus was also tasty. I was surprised they did not give garlic sauce automatically, I had to ask for it. Overall, the flavors were good. I can't say it was better than any other kabob place that I have tried but it did the trick to fill me for lunch. While I was waiting for my order my eyes began to burn, apparently they were preparing something that had a lot of onion and or garlic, even the workers were squinting. I was there around noon and it was empty. They have parking behind the restaurant. If you're in the area stop by for a taste, I wouldn't fight traffic on Glendale just to come here though. read more

This is the best Greek Kabob place for your money. The food is better than several other greek places I have tried. The food servings are very large and could be shared in most cases. The place is always clean when I appear here. It is better than the other little Greek Kabob place across the street from them directly and it is cheaper. read more

I used to always order the chicken shish because that's my favorite, but since this place has dishes that are half chicken shish and half ground beef or chicken, I now get those half-half orders. This place was really good. I compare most kebab places to Cafe Bravo in Glenoaks, and this one compares very favorably. The beef was extremely tender and the chicken was still moist with excellent flavor. The rice is probably even better than the rice at Cafe Bravo -- I am pretty sure it is cooked in chicken broth or something delicious. For the price, given the amount of food you get, it can't be beat. Very small drawbacks for "so so" hummus and a general lack of cleanliness. I think they are understaffed so you get things like trash piled up and pouring out of the trash can, tables aren't wiped down so you do it yourself, and the bathrooms...yeah. If they hired another person to just maintain the place during peak hours, this would be a 5 star review! read more

Yum. This place is great. My wife and I shared a chicken lula hummus plate and a beef shish hummus plate and some mutabal. First, the mutabal is probably the best I've ever had. Super flavorful without being overly rich. The hummus was good, but some combination of spices in it weren't necessarily my favorite. The meats were so moist if alittle under spiced. I've never had chicken lula be so juicy, it was the highlight. The pickles all taste the same, and I wish the plates came with some lettuce/tomato/yogurt sauce. I've tried their chicken shish kebab and chicken lula kebab. Both are great but I think the shish (chicken breast) is kind of hard while the lula (chicken sausage) is a bit oily.
