10/10, SO good! We walked out with full tummies and lots of leftovers. :) The location was clean and service was amazing.

The food is great. Halwa not too sweet. Garbanzos perfect not too spicy. Biryani is flavorful. Chicken Kabab is cooked with red spice and chicken kofta is barbecued to reveal the grill toast lines spiced lightly. Tea with milk is free. Now that I know this will be a favored spot. Overall the food ingredients are what you taste. Almost no saltiness. read more

Try the buffet here, it's very delicious and worth the money. I really like the bbq chicken. Just be careful some food is spicy!

We sat down and got the tandoori combination with a few sides. What a feast! The service was excellent and very friendly and the food was SO delicious. Loved the grilled assorted meats and the samosa chat too. We are excited to come back to try the weekend buffet! read more

I loved my chicken curry, buttered naan and samosa chaat! Delicious. Will be back again and again!

Great lunch buffet with lots of choices. Each of the ~16 items was unique and of great quality. Pleasant service happy to answer any questions about each item. read more

The only good food items you will find tasty are their biriyani rice and kabab items. All other items are bland tasting. Chicken Tikka masala is bland, no flavor and almost no salt, vegetable items are not restaurant like, samosas taste weird; most items I had other than kababs were like home cooked with only basic ingredients for the high BP patient not allowed to have salt! They are EXPENSIVE too! Don't get fooled by their big container, the amount will be the same! Taj Mahal restaurant at the opposite sells chiken Tikka masala for $12.99 and they are selling it for $17!!! Now go figure! This place is downright ripoff! read more

Very good! Loved the mango yogurt drink! Kebabs were a little spicy but very flavorful. Will visit again. read more

This place was so good, I can't wait to eat my leftovers for lunch today. Flavorful, one entree can feed 2 ppl bc serving sizes are massive, nicest staff, and very clean inside. I ordered mixed veggies, chicken palak, and tikka masala. All items were excellent. My kids loved it too. read more

This was our first time at Kabab King and we will be back. The menu has familiar Indian items mixed in with items that I have not seen outside of the Middle East. We ordered chicken curry, chicken hiryali kabab, samosas and garlic naan. The samosas had chunks of potatoes instead of the mashed potatoes. They were so delicious that we ordered a second helping. The chicken curry had a more peppercorn and allspice flavor instead of the turmeric flavor associated with Indian chicken curry. The chicken hiryali kabab was a new dish for me. It is marinated in a green sauce and then grilled. It had a coriander and slight mint taste and tasted way better than it looked. read more

I definitely need to give this place another try. I came by when they were only open a few weeks. They were backed up majorly and out of two of the things I ordered (but I didn't know until I arrived). That was disappointing but the food was decent. Will definitely try them again after they are up and running a while longer. read more

Delicious, fresh food! I got the Chicken Makhani - the flavors were amazing and the chicken was so tender and cooked perfectly. The hummus was delicious! Our waitress was so friendly and helpful. A great option for takeout or a nice sit-down meal! read more

My friend and I were driving by and stopped here on a whim. I'm so glad we did!! Since then I've returned several times and each time the food has been outstanding. The Chicken Makhani is my favorite. read more

O.k., does anyone notice that they spelled kebab k-a-b-a-b? That is a misspelling. They misspelled their name on the sign. That's not a good start. Anyways, our server Tiffany was a really nice lady and did a good job minus one thing. She is not very aware of food and how it relates to food allergies, or specific diets. I told her that my girl friend is vegan and I asked her if the chutneys/dressings had dairy in them. She responded that no, they do not. I asked what was in the creamy looking dressing and she said sour cream. Sour cream, obvious to most people, is made with dairy. The falafel is o.k., but not great. It really didn't have that nice crunch to it, but it seemed fried. It was sort of at a mid point as far as the texture and it was kind of bland. Now that I think about it maybe I should have given them a lower rating. All things considered, I haven't tried their other menu items. Should I give them a second chance? Not sure if I will, or not. read more

Awesome! My husband and I ordered takeout from here last night. He ordered the chicken biryani and naan, i ordered saag paneer and roti. We also ordered samosas chat to share. Let me say it was absolutely delicious. It was fresh, hot and very tasty. They provide large portions and had plenty of vegetarian options as well. The building was recently renovated and was clean with friendly staff. We will be returning here frequently and so happy to have found this place, right down the street!! Thanks for the 5 star experience! read more

My kids and I were intrigued by this new place in a freshly painted (and wonderfully colorful now!) Pizza Hut building. We're mostly vegetarian and love Indian and Pakastani food/flavors, so we ordered take-out. It was awesome! The service was quick and friendly. Ordering online via their website was easy from my Smartphone. Updates on the order were clear, and it was done and updated ahead of schedule. The food is delicious! Perfect option for a mostly vegetarian family with a couple folks who will also eat chicken sometimes. It was clear that they understood these needs and focused on appropriate food prep with that in mind. We had no worries about everyone in the family being happy. Ample portions for take-out. We will definitely be back when we're in the area! read more

I had the chicken tikka masala and tried the chicken biryani. Both were decent but didn't compare to the competition. The prices were higher and wasn't worth the extra cost. read more

Place is awesome. Started eating here shortly after opening. Will continue to order take away.

My family gets the family platter at least once a month, it is so delicious! It is absolutely worth it for the price. The amount of rice and meat will last the five of us at least two dinners. We also love the falafel wraps. Everything is delicious and the portions are large. We have only ever gotten takeout, but the service for takeout was excellent and the workers were very kind. I cannot recommend Kabab King enough and we are looking forward to trying the weekend buffet! read more

We ordered the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, chicken biriyani and hariyali chicken. The chicken biriyani was delicious. The naan and tikka masala were good. The food seemed very fresh, the chicken especially. But the (T4.)Chicken Hiryala tasted m decent, but the food color on it was a sore sight. read more

We love ordering from this place! The food is always spot on and freshly made! We have tried most of their grill items and my personal favorite is their tandoori leg and bone in tandoori chicken - they both come on a bed of aromatic rice and are always grilled to perfection. All items also come with a side salad and raita (sauce made out of yoghurt/mint and cilantro). Their chicken tikka masala is also the best in town! read more

11/10! Mister and I loooooved our food. Veggie samosas were the best we have had in the area, the sauce that is served with it... oh my goodness... lip smackin' good. The shrimp biryani and chicken vindaloo were delicious. The garlic naan was perfect, I could probably eat 50 pieces in one sitting. So happy we decided to stop by and will definitely be back! The hostess was very attentive and made our experience even better! :) read more

The bright exterior catches your eye, and you should not just drive by - stop. What a surprise! I'm picky and always looking for authentic. This did not disappoint. It took me back to the food I had in northern India. We stopped around 2 in the afternoon. Started with the Vegetable Samosas and they were crispy on the outside, without being oily, with perfectly cooked soft veg on the inside. Shared the Saag Paneer and Daal Gosht with goat, medium spice which was exactly the right amount of heat for medium. Both were delicious! The Tandoori Naan was perfect. The rice was seasoned perfectly as well. Portion sizes were generous. But most importantly, was exceptional service from our beautiful waitress. She was amazing! Really some of the best care I have had in a restaurant for years!! I was with an international student who had never had Indo-Pak food before and he was wowed. What a wonderful first experience. I'm rarely in this part of town, but I would go out of my way to eat here again. Thank you! read more

Finally there's a decent authentic Pakistani restaurant in the Burgh. We used to drive to DC / Virginia to have this type of food. The food is great and the staff / environment are very welcoming. We've tried their Grill platter, Niharee, Chicken Karhaee, Halwa Pooree breakfast. All good choices and recommended. Will be back soon. read more

Always looking for something different we stopped in and found success. We ordered Aloo Tikki, Spicy Lamb Curry and Garlic Naan with a Mango Lassi. The waitress was wonderful and the food fantastic, reminded us of our meals overseas in Asia. We will definitely be going back. read more

We ordered several entrees and various naan for takeout. First of all, this was the HEAVIEST bag of takeout I've ever picked up! Unpacking it...it was easy to understand why--these are HUGE portions with tons of rice and meat per dish. Honestly, we could eat a single entree for at least two meals! And the flavor is amazing...everything we had was so good. If I could get boneless chicken breast to be half as tender, I'd be super pleased with myself. Seriously, skip the chain restaurants on McKnight just once and give it a try. read more

Welcoming staff & pleasant atmosphere Treat yourself to a delicious weekend buffet, very good food

This is our first time trying kabab king. We love it. Tasty and clean. I liked how each meal come with sealed salad. The rice was delicious. the only thing we didn't like that the protein (chiken and beef) was so hot like you will feel the flame. I will love if they have the choice of heat level. read more

Food was yummy. Tasted home cooked. Refreshing taste from the usual Indian restaurant fare. Ambience was poor

My wife and I have dined here a number of times. Our experience of Sunday, 22 August 2021 was not the best. The buffet items were excellent as usual, but service was lacking because the wonderful young full of personality African-American lady host/server who has been there on other visits was not present. The restaurant was busy and the young man who was handling service of the dining room had a difficult time covering all that was necessary. Water is important when eating spicy food. We secured enough of it only due to taking the initiative to go to the front of the restaurant to request a pitcher. It was no help that there was a large, loud party with many children who were permitted to run around unattended and scream. We arrived a bit after noon. We usually arrive toward the beginning of the buffet at 11:30. We will try to get there earlier in the future and will hope to see our favorite employee the next time! read more

Both service and food are bad. The Indian or Pakistani waiterress was rude. The food came very late. It was not even busy. It's not authentic place as they claim. read more

This is quite frankly the worst Indian I've ever had in my life. My husband and I threw everything away. Everything was inedible. The garlic naan. The curry chicken. THe raitha was sour and I had to spit it out. It's a shame because I had high hopes for another Indian restaurant and this was the worst. read more

Best fresh and tasty food, very tender and yummy grilled items. Good ambiance, great value for money.

Fantastic place for Indian food. We had the Goat Vindaloo, Lamb Biriyani, and Beef Kababs and it was absolutely fantastic. The rice on the side was also fully spiced instead of the boring white jasmine and the Garlic Naan and Vegetable Samosa were great appetizers. Make sure to ask for the tamarind sauce as the sweet and sour pairs very well with the side salads. read more
