fried soy garlic wings

Came here on a Wednesday night back when they were doing the 50% off entire bill for ladies. My friend and I ordered the following to share: -Rose Tteok-bokki: not too crazy spicy and satisfied my tteok bokki cravings -8 pcs soy garlic fried wings: those were good and love the side dishes it came with (picked radish and carrots as well as some corn) -Haemul pajeon: seafood pancake taste good and standard Cool place to socialize and catch up with friends but music was kind of loud so my friends and I had to really project our voice.

Watermelon and Pineapple Soju

Had a great time here! The lychee soju was delicious and didn't taste artificial at all. The watermelon and pineapple soju in each respective fruit was a great touch, and tasted like it was made of the actual fruit. Only issue I had was how cramped it was in there but otherwise it was a fun place to check out.

Came for the fruit bowls, stayed for the vibes. Came with a group of 8 and was seated once we all got here (like 9:30?) Highly recommend the watermelon bowl! So delicious. Soy garlic wings were crispy and not too salty! Just a perfect amount.

Great pocha spot for a casual bite and drinks. Came here on a Saturday evening before 10pm and our group of 4 got seated right away. The vibe was definitely busy but with some seating still open. When we left I noticed there were some groups waiting for tables so getting in before 10pm on a Saturday might be ideal for no wait. My friends and I shared the Kimchi Fried Rice and some Soy Garlic wings along with some soju. The food was great and packed with flavor. Service was great and super attentive. Our waters were never empty. Shout out to Victor our server for taking care of us!

Great casual spot for a late night with a large group, I find myself here relatively often on a night out. The food hits the spot, and we loved the watermelon and pineapple soju! Just a warning -- on my most recent visit, despite having plenty of tables free, they really tried hard to get us out by the 90 min limit, despite us ordering a second round of drinks after our meal. We would have happily stayed here for another round rather than go find a different spot

This definitely has a pocha vibe. It's good for big groups, with long benches in the center and booths. We must have gotten there at a good time because we were able to get a booth, which was a little tight for 6 people, but we made it work. We were able to get our orders in quickly, and the servers were so quick to clear tables of empty bottles, provide napkins, bring new bottles and food. They had a great playlist of classic kpop hits that had the vibe going all night long. We also ordered the cheese buldak but it was definitely spicier than I expected. We also got the fries which were great munchies with our drinks.

Good place to drink with friends on a weekend night. The fries were pretty good, the army stew was good but not particularly special. The watermelon soju is so fun but I think it tasted a bit watered down. It gets really loud and crowded inside, but the staff are pretty attentive.

Must try! We and a group of 4 friends went to K Town Pocha on Wednesday evening for their 50% off girls night. Food portions are really big. With the deal, we did not expect plates to be big but they were massive. We got 16 piece soy garlic wings, rose tteokbokki, seafood pancake and cold noodles and we were stuffed and had leftover food. The cold noodles were really good to me and I loved the sauce. The rose tteokbokki was amazing too and the rice cakes had great chewy texture. The soy garlic wings were good, better than most fried chicken places. Service was just ok. Had to keep asking for water but not a big deal. Not too busy when I went but I'm sure it gets busier later in the night.

We were looking for a HH spot and ended up here in Ktown. Although alcohol is 20% off for HH, it didn't include cocktails. We ended up getting the Watermelon Soju Cocktail ($31.20), French Fries ($12), and 8pcs Fried Chicken Wings ($19). The watermelon was perfect for any group as we had multiple refills between the three of us. It was also super refreshing to drink and enjoy. Also, can't go wrong with fries and wings although a tad pricey for the portions. We thought the soy garlic lacked flavor though, but the Ktown Spicy flavor was delicious. Great spot for groups where everything is shareable. They also have TVs to watch the game too.

I have attended this restaurant numerous times and have never been let down. The flavors of everything I have tried have been immaculate! Service is good, everyone is nice. It is a very cool vibe in there with the lights and music!

My friends and I came to K Town Pocha and ordered the melon soju, watermelon soju, banana makgeolli, ttteokbokki, garlic soy chicken, and Korean pancakes. My favorite was the melon soju, as it was perfect to share with friends while catching up. The atmosphere inside was on the louder side, but the decor was nice and vibey. If you go during peak hours, they have a $25 per person limit. Overall, good experience!

We came here after a night out at the club, and it was the perfect wind down meal! The portions (including meat) were huge and flavorful. The watermelon soju was absolutely insane, so refreshing and fun to share. The space is a bit dark and dingy, not the most comfortable, but it totally fits the late night vibe. The lemon water was a nice touch. The service was quick and efficient, definitely more like fast food service, but it got the job done!

Stopped in for a quick bite at the end of the night. Fried chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. the kimchi jigae (stew) with seafood was tasty but slightly bland (looks spicier than it tastes)! It's traditionally served in a stone bowl which keeps the stew hot and cooks the raw egg on top. I always crave Korean food when I'm traveling away from home so this hit the spot!

So when we were back in town, we decided to stop in--fully expecting to have just one drink and move on. That plan did not happen. We ended up staying a couple of hours, ordering food, and having many drinks. Bin 71 is mostly a wine bar, with a few beers mixed in, and it definitely feels like a locals spot. The bartenders knew a lot of the people coming in, which added to the friendly, laid-back vibe. It's very small, so it can get cramped, but in a cozy, everyone's-in-it-together kind of way. Food-wise, we were pleasantly surprised. I ordered the grilled cheese and my husband got the fish soup (cod, I think?). Both were delicious, but that grilled cheese was spectacular--honestly way better than expected from a wine bar. I'm not much of a wine drinker, so I won't pretend to give a detailed wine review, but everything we had was enjoyable. What really stood out was the atmosphere. We ended up chatting with other people at the bar, and the whole experience was just genuinely fun. If you're looking for good wine, surprisingly great food, and a friendly local vibe, this place is worth checking out. Maybe don't go wildly out of your way for it--but if you're in the area, absolutely stop in.

It's pretty cool that this Turntable location is fully decorated with records, record players, posters, etc. and of course, with jazz playing in the background. We ordered the Medium Drums & Wings Combo which took about 30 minutes to prepare. In the meantime, we enjoyed the Kimchi Fried Rice w Chicken which was pretty solid. It was cooked well, good balance of savory & spicy flavors from the kimchi and the sunnyside egg added more umami and creaminess. I still felt it was a bit dry and could've used like spicy mayo but that's just me. The Medium Drums & Wings Combo was perfect for sharing among 2 people. Both flavors were delicious but the hot spicy just had more depth than the soy garlic. The pieces are large and the crunch is insanely addictive. And no better way to wash it all down than with a Sapparo on draft! Great try!

We went with an order of cheesy corn, a spiral potato each, and a medium order of boneless, Half and half. I thought it was strange that they specifically warned us that it would take some time to make it. I mean that's what I came for, some proper Korean Fried Chicken that's made to order! The cooking method literally takes time to fry it at least twice! As strange as it was to see them do this at every table, apparently it was because some uncultured dum-dums got their KFCs confused. I mean damn, imagine having to work in a place where you have to overexplain the obvious to each customer! "Welcome to Moonbucks! By the way ma'am, our hot beverages comes out very hot. Yes ma'am, that includes the pumpkin spiced latte. Yes ma'am, it is flavored with cinnamon." Derp. The decor around here was pretty cool, all hip and shit. And by our meal's end, this place was poppin'! If you and your crew decide to dine put here, better hustle on over right after work, cuz it's gonna be packed!
