First time trying this place and had high expectations based on the reviews - was slightly disappointed. The interior is clean and cute, with good menu options (though a bit pricey). I had the gyoza ramen special which is not on the menu, and fried spring rolls. My mom had the bulgogi and rice, with mozzarella sticks. My ramen was not bad but also wasn't great... it was just ok. The spring rolls were good though! My mom asked for teriyaki sauce with her bulgogi and never got it - possibly the waitress didn't understand due to a language barrier. She said the mozzarella sticks were good. All in all, I don't think I'd go back just because it was only "ok" and there are so many other amazing places to eat in the area. read more

I have come back a few times since my initial review. They have added Korean Fried Chicken to the menu! Although...I haven't tried it because the prices are a little high. I find their bulgogi portion to be smaller and more expensive than Korean restaurants up north in Pierce County. The flavor is good. They also do not refill the banchan. There are a few other Korean spots in Lacey, so not too much competition. This one is probably a little more modern. The place is small inside, and is usually pretty busy when I have gone. Staff is nice, generally just drop off your food and let you stay. Customer service varies. Overall decent spot. read more

Wanted to give the place a try. So glad we did. Service was very friendly and speedy. Had waters and menu almost immediately after sitting down. Studied the menu and placed our orders. The inside has tables and a counter where you can pay and order for food or you can sit and order. The food does take a while to come out, but it's cooked when ordered. Wow! This is a foodie place hidden in plain sight! It's in a very convienent location not far from the freeway in Lacey near Walgreens! When you walk in, everything is immaculate. So clean!! I really appreciate that - you can tell that staff is detail oriented and has so much respect for their customers. The bathroom is also in perfect condition and even smells nice! Service is outstanding!! Along with ordering appetizers and meals, you're given several side dishes. All beautiful fresh ingredient options. I tried the miso soup, the Bulgogi Kimbap rolls and the Bibimbap bowl. QUALITY! Meat was tender, produce was fresh and the soup was perfectly balanced. I had no idea I love Korean food till today! I ordered take out expecting the fried chicken to taste somewhat close to the Korean fried chicken I've had in Korea or even Bonchon but was dissatisfied with what I was served. It tasted as if they rushed and didn't cook it thoroughly or fried freezer-burned chicken. I could only taste a HINT of seasoning, the skin was more soft than crispy, and the meat was tough. Ok so I decided to try this place with my older sister because a friend has eaten there and she posted pictures on her Snapchat and I said it looked good She told me it was really good, so I decided to give it a try. Man.... I was so DISAPPOINTED! I ordered the bulgogi and the meat was gross. It was barely marinated and almost tasted like it was marinated in watered down soy sauce! It was placed on top of the rice and there was cabbage in between and so therefore my rice was kind of mushy... Yuck! My sister ordered the fried potstickers and the clear noodles with the beef. Her noodles were okay but not great. I would rate those like maybe a 4/10 and she loves potstickers and said those had no flavor and that she was really disappointed herself! The side dishes we both agreed were awful. They were bland and the only thing that had flavor was the fish cakes. The kimchi was watered down and not spicy and tasted kind of old. The service was kind of subpar. She was nice, but didn't really come to check back and ask us how everything was. Had she done that I probably would have been honest and said it was not what I was expecting. My kids are half Vietnamese so I definitely know how to cook Asian food and I definitely know how it should taste and I am giving my honest review of the place. I really wanted to like it but I just can't. I do not recommend it. I would recommend going to Seoul or the barbecue place on Martin Way by Dutch Bros. If not, then I suggest traveling to Lakewood or Tacoma to eat at the Korean buffets all you can eat. I also did not really like the seating arrangements. I felt like I was in a small deli. I feel like there should have been partitions or something between the tables to give a little more private dining experience. I honestly can say it was the worst bulgogi I have ever tasted, and I've tasted a lot of bulgogi throughout my lifetime! A big never go back to this place again, unfortunately! read more

Went with a friend when we were doing laundry next door and I have to say, the food really hit the spot! The portions were great for the price, and it really satisfied my need for Korean food. Plenty of little side dishes for your meal, the service was fast and friendly, and even though it was busy when we went in there was still plenty of room to move around and the restaurant felt really nice to be in. The atmospher is pretty lively though when it gets busy so expect there to be a bit of noise from the tables near you. Highly recommend trying this place when you can! read more
