I decided to go with Maris for 4 reasons (1) her instagram showed all shapes and sizes of brows, not just a one size fits all. (2) her prices, by far the best in town (3) she is first and foremost a makeup artist, so I felt she had a keen understanding of shapes and colors, and (4) my friend used her and she looked amazing. The day of my appointment came, and I can't lie, I was so nervous. What was I thinking getting tattooed on my FACE?! But I looked at her Instagram page again, looked in the mirror at my sad brows, and got out of my car and entered her salon. Maris is just straight up cool and laid back. She made me feel comfortable and listened to me say, over and over again, that I wanted them to look natural. She was patient and went over everything. The first question people ask me is "did it hurt?" Not. One. Bit. I attribute this to the numbing cream and Maris's touch. When I was finished, she gave me instructions on what to do the next 2 weeks. I taped the instructions to my bathroom mirror and took care of my brows just as I was instructed. And.... Once we chatted, I knew that this was the person I could trust to do my brows-- the one thing I have complained about for the past two years. Being me, I came in with a ton of different questions about how everything was going to go down. Kim is kind, warm, and enthusiastic. She makes you feel immediately at ease. Once we got started, she let me check, change, and check again before we ever even got to the microblading process. We are both perfectionist and she took her time to make sure I knew exactly what they were going to look like (and let me tweak thing when I change my mind). The time passed in a flash and we had a great time throughout the process. Kim answered every question I had, let me look at alllll the tools and products (plus ask more questions), and just generally made me feel so comfortable and informed about every step of the process. I visited Sharon the esthetician when I first got back from LA after traveling for work for 7 months and I found her via yelp with her wonderful reviews. I'm so glad I did. I have been battling some acne scars and some hormonal acne for sometime and Sharon did an amazing job on me, and I've seen so much progress in the last month. I have visited nice salons in Los Angeles, atlanta, San Francisco, and many other nice areas but no one has made my skin look and feel like Sharon has.
