I wanted to find a company that actually did lathe and plaster (even though the lathe is metal now) rather than filling holes with drywall and adding a thin layer of plaster on top. Not many are out there doing lathe and plaster anymore, so I was happy to find Brian. I had already dealt with more than one company claiming they did true plaster work and then their estimates showed the drywall method with crazy prices. Brian offered both true plaster work and reasonable prices. The work was beautifully done, everything was cleaned up well, and I'm happy to have an option to maintain my original plaster walls.

It was plastered before but needed retouching since it was missing something. I searched for a company that does exceptional work with proof and years of experience. We prefer wet plaster over dry, so did checking and found ZMartin Plastering on Angi. The company had high ratings and the work looked great, so we scheduled Brian Zmuda to come out and look at what needs to be done and gave me an estimate and went over what the issues were with the ceiling in both areas and explained it thoroughly so I could understand and told me what materials as far as the paint, plaster, and more, and how he was going to do it, and even showed me this insurance and then quoted me a fair price. I was happy and then scheduled him to come out in three weeks. Brian came out three weeks later on 05/23/23 after we were finishing stucco painting and he began to work. I could tell he knew about doing plaster work for an older house. He started with the two ceilings and did it in order and was clean using the right materials. He plastered it well leaving no mess and with wet plaster, and then once he finished he explained that the plaster dry's in less than a week and told me to house spot primer first in the area before applying paint which where are doing for the whole apartment's unit. I was happy and knew he was skilled and explained what materials you are supposed to use and he also does stucco is great to know since we have some stucco repair on our main house to do. I can highly recommend ZMarting for any paltering work he seems very honest and did not take long to reduce the price since it was a simple job. We will be working with him in the future. His work is fantastic. Could not be any happier.

I scheduled an appointment through their online portal and was given a service window of 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM the following day. Unfortunately, there were some delays, and the day got off to a bit of a bumpy start as the technicians were running behind schedule. After calling twice, I was connected with dispatch (Brooks), who assured me that someone would be out within the hour--and they kept their word. That's when Tim arrived, and he completely turned the experience around. Tim was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping us resolve the issue. He successfully rodded out the sewer lines and took the extra step of calling in two additional technicians to run cameras through the system to check for potential tree root intrusion. He even coordinated with another technician to inspect a possible mold concern. As someone who works in sales myself, I understand that things don't always go according to plan. What truly defines a company is how they respond when challenges arise. Exceptional customer service is tested in those moments, and Roto-Rooter passed with flying colors. Brooks, Tim, Chris, Aaron, and Levi went above and beyond to reassure my family, thoroughly assess the situation, and help us understand the next steps needed to properly maintain the sewer infrastructure in our new home. Their professionalism, communication, and dedication gave us peace of mind during what could have been a very stressful situation. Thank you, Roto-Rooter, for standing behind your service and taking such great care of your customers. You've earned a customer for life!
