He picked up right away, was able to provide me a quote over the phone and was able to get me scheduled the same week (Friday 5/18/18) I needed my entire downstairs and stairs done and the price was very reasonable. **AVOID THIS COMPANY** I chose this company based on their great reviews but I should have known better then to trust a company with so few reviews. I'm pretty sure at this point that they are probably fake. I called up and made an appointment to have my house cleaned. I called the day before to confirm, they said everything was still on track. The agreed upon arrival time was 9am. Next day, no one shows up. I call twice and no one answers. I get a call back an hour later and they said they were on their way. I would have just said forget it but I needed this done today and the other companies in town didn't have any openings until the weekend. They finally showed up around 10:30am. The guy looked like he had been drinking the night before and smelled like booze. He finished up in about an hour and charged me $300. Two days later the carpets are still wet and look almost like they did before he came over. Most of the spots are starting to reappear and I am not happy. I called back to complain and no one will answer or return my calls. I wish I had gone with a better company so I just wanted to warn everyone to stay away from these people. I have 2 pre-teen kids, and a puppy, and an adult dog living in my home, and my carpets were in need of a good cleaning. I called Dupage Carpet Cleaning on a Tuesday and had a number of slots that week to choose from, so we set an appointment for later in the week. The prices they normally offer were very fair, but since I was a new customer they gave me an additional discount, making the service very cost economical. They called the morning of the appointment to confirm the timing and showed up when they said they would. They cleaned 4 bedrooms, the basement, and 2 sets of staircases in about 90 minutes and when they left the carpets looked much better than I had expected. About a year prior my kids had spilled some "slime" on one of the stairs and while we did our best at the time, the carpet was well stained there and I had written it off, but Jason and his crew did a great job getting most of it off so that only a faint trace remained of what had been an electric blue slime stain. Additionally they did a great job on some of the other stains a family with young kids and pets can produce. Over all I am very pleased with the price, professionalism, speed, and quality of service I received from Dupage Carpet Cleaning, and I'll have them back on a more regular basis to keep the carpets looking fresh! These guys actually invested their money in high powered professional equipment ... When they came they actually came by after I already had someone else clean the carpet.. (Who happened to leave a lot of solution in the carpet).. They got all of that up... (Leaving a ton of solution in your carpet WILL damage it.. And if the cleaner doesn't have the right tools - a high powered truck mount - you'd be risking potential damage to your carpet).. They also know what type of solution to use and can get special stuff for special cases. Overall.... These are the guys you want to hire. They know their stuff..
