We purchased a TV to mount above our fireplace. We had an existing TV that had been poorly installed. We wanted to remove it and install the new one. However, because of the drywall and the fireplace setup, it turned out not to be a simple project. We got a number of quotes but ultimately decided to go with K&S. First, they came to the house to provide an estimate. None of the other companies did that. This allowed them to assess the complexity of the job and figure out the best solution. Second, they were extremely professional. They covered everything with plastic and kept the area extremely clean. After they had started, they realized the job was even harder than we expected and would require an extra day of work. They did the extra day and still honored their original quote. And last but not least, they suggested an awesome fireplace mount that I didn't even know existed that allows the TV to be pulled out and pulled down, to clear the mantle. They did great work. Head guy is very nice and professional. He provided some expert advice regarding installation height depending on room usage. We had a few tricky areas due to the builder installed mounting areas (tv outside in the California room but cables inside in a different room, in a very far location) but his team were great and were able to figure it out, no problem. Highly reccommend this guy! I have an old, POS 53" Samsung Plasma TV from 2006 that weights about 120 lbs. Steve came in with a $40 full-motion, tilting mount (an awesome deal!) for my TV then saw just how old and heavy it was. He advised me not to use the $40 mount because of the weight. He came back the next day with a more expensive heavier duty mount, but still only charged me for the original $40 mount. This shows that he really cares about the safety of your TV and the work he does, rather than just trying to up-sell his customers.
