They quoted me $275, but when the technician arrived, he realized the job actually involved installing a new bathroom fan/light combo (which needed proper ventilation out of the house), not just replacing an existing one. They suddenly raised the quote to $600 on the spot, which was really frustrating and stressful. After asking for a refund, I called New Electronics Communications the same day -- and to my amazement, they were able to schedule me immediately! The technician arrived right on time, was professional, polite, and very clean with his work. He did the installation exactly how I wanted it, for only $350, and everything looks and works perfectly. They not only saved me a ton of time and money but also spared me so much stress -- especially since I had already taken my dogs to daycare, expecting the job to get done that day. I'm just really grateful for their responsiveness, honesty, and quality work. If you're looking for reliable, fair, and fast electrical work, don't hesitate -- call New Electronics Communications!

Our company was experiencing some real hardships with the previous alarm company (who will go…read moreunnamed). Everything from the contract term and renewal to the quality of service to the monitoring costs for the fire and burglary services. We went looking for a better all-in-one option and contacted several companies: JMG, ADT, Everon, SSD Systems and Viviant. It wasn't until I spoke with Ian Pfitzer-Ortiz in their commercial sales department that I really started to find a solution. Ian came out to the office and did a thorough inspection, learned that we had an existing system that we owned - so theoretically should have been an easy take over from the previous company. However, easy it was not. The control panel had several "lock out codes" from the previous company - preventing it from properly communicating with the central station. Then the mobile application wasn't notifying management of events (arms, disarms, troubles and alarms), like it had previously. We contacted the Bay Alarm service department and they were unable to resolve the issue over the phone. So, they sent service technician Freddy Medina to troubleshoot on site. He got on the phone with his programming department and they explored multiple theories of why the system wasn't properly working. At the end of the day, after teleconferencing with the panel's manufacturer and the previous alarm company, Freddy and his service team were able to resolve the issue. Everything is working properly and Bay Alarm did what was needed to find a solution. It means a lot when a company goes the extra mile to fix a problem that they didn't create - just to ensure customer satisfaction! Thank you Ian for taking the time to properly represent Bay Alarm and their services and thank you Freddy, for being the face of the customer service for Bay Alarm - with the patience and tenacity to get the job done right! Now, Bay Alarm services our burglary alarm system and when our contract with the "other" company is up in December - they will take over that system too. Kudos to the Orange County Sales and Service team for a job well done! We recommend Bay Alarm for all your residential and commercial security needs. (No, I was not compensated for this review. We just believe in passing along good news and good companies when they do the right thing!) They even have the right company colors! :)

We had also advised that some interior alarms did not announce in several units during an event and asked for them to come up with a solution to repair the issue. Nothing was ever resolved with nor did they provide any follow up response / solution. Also, they're unaware of the password for the panel to even work on it. So their only solution is to replace their panel with a new one. It is not recommend to use this particular location or even the company if this is how they handle a multi unit complex. We have no confidence at all and if zero stars could be given, then that would be their rating.

I figure things happen and take time so I didn't call until 2:30 pm or so to check on where the technician was. I was told that my job had "not been added to the schedule" but they would see when a tech could be there. I was then told 3:45-4:00pm. No one arrived. I called at 4:15 pm and was told they were 25 minutes away. I called at 5:01 and the voicemail said the office was CLOSED and here it is 5:15 and no one EVER ARRIVED. I realize compared to other jobs this company has, my job was small and not worth a lot of money. However, the measure of a great business is to treat small customers as well as your big customers. If you don't show up when scheduled, fail to add a job to your schedule, and keep lying to your customer about the arrival time of your tech who NEVER shows up at all...why would I trust this company with my larger corporate work? How you treat people matters, whether the job is big or small. This was unacceptable today and I did not appreciate that I had to keep calling YOUR business to find out what was going on, what happened to the tech, etc. Why aren't YOUR people communicating with customers? Why didn't anyone apologize? Why didn't anyone call before close of business to say, "Hey, we're not coming!" I was extremely unhappy because no one cared that I had taken time off work to meet the tech and no one cared enough to even CALL me and let me know what was going on. You guys dropped the ball big time here and were incredibly thoughtless and rude. Update: They just arrived at 5:36 pm. The techs themselves were GREAT and were able to do the work and complete the job. However, I wanted someone to know about the lack of transparency and communication today as it was very upsetting to me. The quality of work and the people you hired to do the actual technical job were terrific, knowledgeable and qualified. I realized it was not THEIR fault today, but I think it's important for people to know about the communication problems. I updated my review from 1 star to 3 because of the actual techs and their skills.
