They were very kid accommodating by providing French fries (on their own) and turning on a movie for our two small children. Order was ready quickly, maybe a 10 min wait or so. Food was fresh cooked and good tasting. Steak was slightly overcooked but still tender and good. Hamburger was good size and tasted good. Side salad was really good, could've used a bigger plate for it. Fried fish was the best thing of all and the kids size was two large pieces and fries. Plenty for a kid. Kids grilled cheese was good also, Texas toast and a good butter to cheese flavor. Recover a complimentary bread pudding and brownie. Both were fresh made and warm. Bread pudding reminded me of a Christmas flavor. Will be back to try the shrimp.

I must admit I was spoiled living so close to Jimbo's when I first moved to town, but now I truly…read moreappreciate the quality they offer. After moving across town, I tried a lot of closer places for crawfish...you know the story "I have a cousin that gets crawfish" or "I swear this place has the best prices"...and every time I've wished I had just driven to Jimbo's. Alas, in my old age, I've learned to go with what you know and the people who never waiver on quality. Jimbo's is locally owned, which is a huge bonus in my book as well as an honestly run place of business. If the crawfish are fragile, they'll let you know. If they're small, they'll let you know. These guys are by far some of the best people to do business with that I can think of....matter of fact, perhaps I shouldn't be letting the cat out of the bag on this spot...too late now, I guess. Even if you are looking for boiled crawfish or shrimp, Jimbo's will treat you like family. They are seasoned well and really have that South Louisiana flavor that I'm sure most of you appreciate. Don't be fooled or be lazy drive to Jimbo's or just end up looking crazy!!

That wasn't the case here, it was more than just something to hold the food in place. The bun is just the right thickness with a smidge of sweetness to it and both my wife and I thought it tasted exceptional. My wife had the Oyster PB and they were fried perfectly and still moist with the briny taste of the sea. I ordered the Catfish knowing the protein portion would be bigger than the Oysters and hoping it would stand up to a too bready roll. Of course it was portioned perfectly paired with the delicious roll. Po Boys are offered in a half or whole sandwich. We ordered by phone and picked up at the drive through minutes later. Well worth a stop.
