We ordered the 50-50 catfish and shrimp combo and the c'est la vie potato. With our tea and lemonade, the total came to $47.64. Unfortunately, the meal definitely did not meet our expectations. The fish and shrimp were small, the potato was small and undercooked in the middle and hard to chew. Only saw two small bites of crabmeat in the sauce. Well, the food itself had an acceptable flavor, it just was not enough to be satisfying. We left hungry and ended up stopping somewhere else to eat. I will say the waitress was nice. This was my first visit and my last.

I returned the food & asked to speak with a manage, but conveniently there wasn't a manger on site so I left my contact info. The manager (Nory) called a few hours later not to address my concern, but to insult my intelligence & palate by delivering a dissertation on how fish naturally smells and the oils it produces. And I quote, "you are the only customer who complained TODAY." The fish did not taste or smell fishy, it was SPOILED! What they failed to understand is that it only takes one customer to tell you your food is inedible for it to warrant attention. I wasn't looking for a lecture; I simply wanted a sincere apology and reassurance that my concern was being taken seriously. Instead, I was met with defensiveness and condescension. 0/10 I do NOT recommend!

Stay clear of this place! I don't foresee them staying in business very long at all after what I…read morehave seen and heard from my fellow local residents. One afternoon, I was passing by this place, but I didn't have time to stop in and check it out. A day or two later, I went online and began to look up reviews. The reviews that I found were mixed, which sort of surprised me, because the things I had heard from a couple of my fellow local residence, were not very positive to say the least. But we kind of thought maybe that was due to the fact that the restaurant was fairly new, and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, as I always like to support local businesses. A few days later, I passed by the restaurant around 5:30 to 6, which should have been peak dinner hour. I was the only one in the restaurant. They do not have any signage showing their restaurant items, nor do they have any standard restaurant menu's. There was a middle aged gentleman, sitting at one of the tables, looking at his phone, and I realized he was probably the owner, or at least one of the owners. He looked like he did not even want to get up to serve me. I decided then and there I was not going to order, but I did want to check things out. I asked him about menus and he said all he had was two paper printed menu items, without the prices, taped down to the countertop! Once again, no prices were listed! On items that were unavailable, having been either sold out, or never even cooked that particular day, there was actually a black mark through that item. I asked him if he had a copy of the menu that he could give me and a couple of extras for some neighbors. I was going to ask him if he had one that included the prices, but before I could say anything, he rudely said that they don't have any copies. I was going to ask him if I could take a photo of the items, but then I figured what good would that do? If the prices were not even listed, and the same items were not available each day. Also, I have been at restaurants where I have asked for a takeout menu, and they said they didn't have one, but would be glad to either print one out, or make a copy to give me. But I have never been at a restaurant that did not include any prices! I actually think this is the first time I have ever done a review on a restaurant without having actually eaten at the restaurant. But I felt strongly that people needed to be warned before they make a drive unnecessarily. I thought that the fact that there were no customers at a time that should have been peak dinner hours, should have been a red flag to begin with.

We started out with an order of loaded fries and teas. Fries came quick and was plenty for two males who aren't afraid to eat. We didn't finish them. Loaded with cheese, bacon bits, ranch, HT special sauce and bacon bits. The tea was fresh made and was delicious. I had a burger/melt which had a 1/4 patty, grilled shrimp, grilled onions, sauce and cheese. It was big and piping hot when brought to the table with a side of cole slaw. Buddy had the crab patty burger. It was decent size with grilled veggies on the side. All food was phenomenal. Treated me once I got to counter to order. I had already looked at the menu before going over so I knew what I wanted. Ordered the chicken and sausage jambalaya with potato salad. They were out of the chicken and sausage jambalaya so I had to wait about 20 mins for them to make a new batch. That was ok because I knew it would be fresh and hot. Waited at a table for my food to go. Took it back to the hotel. The jambalaya had a good flavor to it. The chicken was a rough chop so you got small pieces and large pieces which was nice. Some of the rice was a bit dry and crunchy but over all it was good. The potato salad was good but I think the potatoes were a bit over cooked and make the salad taste like mashed potatoes. I could not see the sweet relish or taste the crunch but I know it was in there, the potato salad had a sweet taste to it. I like it better than mustard based ones. The cornbread was on point, only missed some butter. It was sweet and good consistency. The banana pudding was better the next day after I throw it on the fridge. Not sure if the short drive made it warm up or if their fridge was not working too well. It did need a little more fresh banana chunks for my liking but it was good over all. This location is recommended.
