I'd been through the drive through about a month ago with my parents and the shrimp poboy and fries were delicious! Crispy and great flavor. We were in town visiting family again and decided to grab lunch here. There were 7 of us in our group including my mom being in a wheelchair. The ladies that took our order were incredibly patient with my mom, who has dementia and wasn't sure of what she wanted to order. The cashier leaned forward with a calm demeanor and explained the options to my mom and I could see she radiated kindness. That meant so much to me! The food was delivered to our table quickly and it was delicious. Everyone there was friendly and the vibes were top notch. Even my husband commented about how nice and helpful everyone working there was. These employees deserve a raise and I hope they see this review. I genuinely appreciated their kindness. read more

WOW! That Pepper Jelly Shrimp Wrap (grilled shrimp) was heaven on earth! Got drive-thru with my bf last weekend after running errands and we were hungry. I got the fish and shrimp platter and it was delicious. I got their hooks sauce to dip it in and I'd recommend trying it if you like Cane's sauce. It was not that busy but it did take awhile through drive-thru for them to finish making our food. Ok. So. A fast food Cajun seafood place...WHAT! I was skeptical but when I'm on a vacation, I don't eat at places I have at home. I was also about 5 hours from home and ready to eat fast and get back on the road. Enough of me. If you haven't eaten here, you're missing out, 100%. I ordered the shrimp platter, about 12 shrimp, fries and 3 hush puppies. The order took about 4 minutes to get to the table - yes, they served me. Everything was hot and fresh. The shrimp were well cooked and the hush puppies were delicious (OMG). BAM! It was all super tasty and such a pleasant experience and surprise. Only one not for me... their signature sauce. This is my new go-to fast food joint. They are serving up quality food that's fresh and hot! Plus, they have a quick drive-thru, which is super convenient!! I've been 3 times, and each time it has hit the spot. So far, I've really enjoyed the fried shrimp + fries, the grilled shrimp/pepper jelly wrap, and the roast beef poboy. All of it was very flavorful and filling. The onion rings are delicious, too! They taste like the ones at Linda's chicken in Watson, which I've enjoyed for many years (IYKYK). They have many dipping sauces to choose from, and they all taste house-made. The blackened ranch is the best!! I even enjoyed the hush-puppies, which I wouldn't ordinarily eat elsewhere. I really hope this location stays, as I've seen many other chains come and go in this spot. I wouldn't normally take the time to make a review for a fast-casual place like this, especially a chain...but man it's good, and they deserve it! Hoping my support will help keep this place open for many years. I've been spreading the word. Ordered take out for lunch today. We had the fish and shrimp dinner , roast beef poboy with gravy , onion rings and chicken and sausage gumbo. Instead of food to go , they were walking around in restaurant with our order on a tray. After finding out it was our order , the young guy took our food to be boxed up . After ten minutes , we told the guy the food was going to be cold , but made no effort to cook us new food. We got home everything was cold and overly spicy. The gumbo tasted like Smoke. Customer service sucked. First and last time eating there. Hope you last longer than Hwy 55 burger did !! read more

I never thought I would write that there is a fast food seafood restaurant in Louisiana that has excellent food consistently. I tried this place with major skepticism. I just knew it would not be a great spot. I have been blown away and have been back several times. The seafood is amazing, the onion rings are fresh and crispy. The non-seafood items are good as well but I am totally blown away by the shrimp. These are real gulf shrimp. The catfish is great also thought catfish does not taste like the catfish I remember eating as a kid as most is farm raised today. I am not a big French fry fan but the fries are great as well. My family has tried the beans and gumbo, I have not but they said it was delicious. Glad I decided to give this place a try! read more

The food is always hot and fresh. Which is very rare these days when it comes to fast food restaurants. The fact that it's also authentic cajun food is an added bonus. We usually get some form of their fried shrimp and man is it good. So fresh, perfectly breaded and seasoned. Their etoufee is *chefs kiss* absolutely delicious. And the fried chicken wrap is really good too. My favorite thing has got to be the bread pudding. Give this place a try. You won't regret it. Oh and the people who work there are always so friendly and kind. Bread falling apart instantly cause it was dripping so bad. Thank god they had an automatic napkin dispenser . Only recommendation would be to put the gravy on the side wheb getting roast beef to go vs in restaurant to prevent soggy bread. Rude Person - Update February 26, 2025 - Wednesday - 3:00 pm. The Owner/GM, Mark and General Manager, Paxton, for "Off The Hook", in Denham Springs, LA reached out to me a few weeks ago and said they wanted to make it right for us, since we were treated so Rude and the food was not correct for our first visit. And if we would try them again. So they let us get a Free Meal and they also gave us an extra little treat. Today we got the Shrimp Platter which came with French Fries. It was very good, fresh and hot. We also got the Chicken and Sausage Gumbo, and the Crawfish Etouffée. Everything was delicious and hot. The Manager, Amanda was very nice and very helpful to me. Everybody there was very nice to us today. I did not see that rude young black girl, Aarianna J. today. Come to find out, she had quit a couple of weeks ago. So I guess the Owner and the General Manager had a talk with her. So that was good. I will be a returning customer because I'm going to go back and get that Roast Beef PoBoy again because it was pretty good, just not that hot the first time, since I had to send it back to get it cut in half.
