Everything I get from here is delicious. The food is consistent. I have never had an issue.

Stopped in for a quick bite. Was very impressed! Friendly staff, fast. And seriously some of the best muffaletta bread I've had! Right amount of crispy outside, not tough or chewy at all! And great price! Was more than i could eat. The fried mushrooms are yummy as well. read more

Service was great! The shrimp po boy was ok. The fries were really good. Inside reminded me of an old school cafe.

Went through drive thru around noon today placed our order a combination #2 with onion rings and a sausage poboy with fries . Got home no onion rings. Everytime we eat here , they leave something out of our order. A month ago I ordered a combination #2 and it had hair in the food. Rude , non caring employees and you never see the owners in the restaurant as they were whenever they first opened years ago. Employees wearing daisy duke shorts , so short you can see the cheeks of their asses , and other employees wearing pajama type clothing. This place is not the same as it was whenever it first opened. La Poboy on Cockerham Road is my go to poboy place but they are closed on Sundays. Food is always fresh , and awesome customer service. read more

I ordered the combination plate with catfish and shrimp and it tasted like the oil needed to be changed. The French fries was underneath the fish and shrimp and were soggy as a wet napkin. I will not be Returning to this location read more

What a shame. Another victim of the pandemic I suppose. Employees do not know how to make a sandwich... don't believe me, I have pictures. I tried calling, but not surprisingly, they don't answer. For some reason they put the meat on the outside of the bread rather than inside the bread. This was a $22.27 poboy combo and they couldn't bother to assemble the sandwich correctly. This causes me serious concern on what else they are not doing correctly. Their food is likely unsafe to eat. Good luck, this was to warn the unsuspecting. No one else was in line, so others have figured it out already. I called the store on Cedarcrest and the lady was very nice and she informed me that the Cedarcrest and Perkins road stores have a different owner, apparently one who sees the value in answering the phone. See I can appreciate paying a higher then normal prices for good food..... but what happen next was absolutely scandalous..... menu says Market price (normally this is a seasonal seafood thing) but every poboy said market price. So I ordered 1 LG supreme and one club dressed. 2 orders of fries, an order of 3 meat pies, and cheese sticks. Total .... $50.56 Needless to say I was a bit suprised but I thought (man these are gonna be some good poboys) at $17 a piece ok let's see what happens....... having completed my dining experience as I pen this review I feel robbed. The quality is definitely subpar ..... subway would have been better then the overpriced Walmart sandwiches I just ate. Definitely not worthy of the poboy title at all. Fries where the best part of the meal. Cheese sticks nothing to dip them in, and the meat pies where about ping-pong ball size. Sad to see poor miss management end another past favorite it'll be sad when they close, which I'm sure will be sooner then later it's sad. This was my second visit here in a 3day period. Ordered the exact same thing both times. Half roast beer Po boy, fries and drink. Gravy on the side. First time it was freaking great. This last time(3/11/2019) not so good. Gravy was cold and chunky. Fries were old and stale. And roast beef was OK, but only 1slice_on previous visit sandwich had 3 slices. I had to go back and get my extra pickles. Bread was adequate and room temp. I requested that my credit card be used as a debit card NOT a credit card. Cashier responded I was trained to do that. I just slide the card. I recommend this place but apparent only on fridays, Mondays is not a good time to visit. Bathrooms were cleaned and eating area was nice and clean as well. The wait time was quick both times. Under 3 minutes each. And parking lot was clean and spacious. The had to go boxes out already, so that was a good thing, but sadly I didn't want to take my left over home. And finally the one huge negative is the drive thru speakers, they are so loud and it really wrecks the eating areas ambience. read more

They Super Supreme sandwich is not longer super nor supreme. The lack of meat they put on them makes it not worth getting. this was my go to sandwich, now all you taste is bread. This has been going on for a while, but I'm done with it. I would litterally have to take two halves and add all the meat from one half to the other to make a decent sandwich, and that still doesnt come close to the way they use to be. At these prices for what you get, I'll pass from now on. Come on guys a sandwich that is worth it, put the meat back on. read more

This little quaint place will knock you out your socks. It's a small place with a big taste. Today we ordered cheeseburger combos and a roast beef po'boy with cheese and gravy. Everything was seasoned perfectly and dressed with fresh veggies. The service was outstanding. I've been there twice within the last few days and each time they made it like I was a family member dropping by. Twice within the last five days says a lot. The prices are great on your wallet as well. They have a lot of quick bites. Check them out! read more

When you pay $22 for a poboy that is "dressed" it would be nice to actually have lettuce & tomato on there! It seems as if they are skimping on things - very dissappointed - used to love this place. I had to go in the crisper at home and pull out some lettuce and some salad tomatoes and mayo. They need to get it together a little. read more

We all had the shrimp poboy. It was full of shrimp. Very tasty. The bread was crispy and not too big. The food was hot and the service was great. I feel you get the most for your money here. Will def. Be back!! read more

Po boy express is my favorite po boy place around! They have the best onion rings and fried pickles! Sometimes the steak po boys have a lot of meat, sometimes they are a little light, but overall I am satisfied. I find it pretty awesome that they carry diet Dr. Pepper as a fountain drink. read more

Not the worst, but definitely not the best. Shrimp poboy has maybe a dozen popcorn shrimp that are overcooked and greasy. Shrimp basket has same shrimp. Half dozen 20-25 count shrimp would have made huge difference in both cases. Fries with both were soft and greasy. If we go back we would definitely order something different. read more

Stopped for lunch. Muffaleta and shrimp po boy did not disapoint us. The shrimp basket was excellent get it with onion rings, the rings are exceptional. This is a self service spot and quite busy at lunchtime with retirees to business folk stopping in. read more

This is my wife's favorite po-boy restaurant. I was a little concerned because the location looked, for lack of a better word, closed. We went in though and the employees were friendly enough. My wife had the roast beef po-boy and I had a shrimp one. We split a large onion rings because the order is enough for 2 people. I always figure that if the business does not have any customers, then there is something wrong with the food or the employees. Luckily, that logic didn't apply here. The food was very good. Stopped for lunch while on a business trip. PoBoy was fresh, hot and full of shrimp. Great flavor. A little light on tomatoes, but overall very good. Fries were seasoned, super hot, fresh. The interior and eating area is basic and somewhat rundown. Good basic PO-Boy and Fries. read more

They have best poboys in LOUISIANA. We LOVE to eat there. I go there at least once a week and have the shrimp poboys.

Too many people standing around to get such slow service taking our order. The kid who took our order talked so low we couldn't understand him. It was surprisingly clumsy to order a simple burger/fries/drink combo. The ketchup dispenser was broken. And the condiment thing only had two tiny packets in it. The napkin dispenser at our table was empty. However, the food did arrive in a timely manner. The fries were decent and despite the bun being too big for the patty, the hamburger was very good. I just went through the drive thru lane and no one came to assist me with an order. I drove around and parked my car and went into the building to see what was happening. I went to the front counter and there was a lady who completely ignored me. I asked if I could place an order and she walked away! Horrible, no meat. We ordered 2 large Roast Beef Supremes and at least 1/4 of the sandwich had absolutely no meat. We had to combine the meat from both sides of the large to get enough meat to make a barely acceptable small sandwich. And we are not picky people. I am talking about three slices of meat on a 12"sandwich. We will never order from Poboy Express again. Spent over $20.00 for $1.00 of meat. Never again. read more
