This was the hotel recommendation for fresh crawfish and they were correct. We only waited 15 minutes in total and that was only because we ordered turkey wings, which were fried. The price was perfect and flavor was on point. We almost went back for more and we had 8 lbs! This is a takeout only; however they did have seating for those waiting. read more

The Food was seasoned well. The service was ok nothing special. The ambiance was a casual walk in and order, pay and go. We try a lot of their Boiled items. We will go back. read more

Came here around 2 in the evening and expected it to be a wait. Lucky for me there really wasn't one. I got 1.5 pounds of crawfish and a bag of eggs. The crawfish was nicely seasoned with the right amount of spice and flavor. They were also a nice size and cracked easily. The eggs were seasoned nicely in the crawfish boil. The building was clean and the service was great. I definitely will be back. read more

Found this place last minute on the hunt for crawfish. We're new to the area and had a full day of moving. The day got away from us so we decided to order and pick up to bring home, we called 20 minutes before close and they were happy to help when I told them it would be a 10-15 minute drive for me to get there. They told me what they had left and that we'd be fine to head that way. I don't remember any furniture inside just a large open space to wait in line. There were several cars in the parking and people coming and going - a good sign! There were a few young, college-age kids behind the counter working and all were kind and helpful. read more

The food was amazing, I tried their crawfish for the first time ever and it was very flavorful and seasoned to perfection. The workers were very quick with our order and the service was very amazing. We didn't have to wait for too long to receive exactly what we wanted. The general ambiance wasn't that great because it's just a line and there's no where to really sit but overall, I enjoyed my experience and I'm glade I tried their food. read more

Had a friend pick up some seafood here because I heard it was bomb. While this season, the only thing that is in at the moment are crabs, it was really delicious! All the crabs were full of meat, and very well seasoned, and not overly salty like many places! I cannot wait till crawfish season is back in, I am ready to devour some of their crawfish! read more

Honestly my go to. The service is fast and friendly. The boiled crawfish is great. Not to mention the corn, potatoes, and boiled eggs! We also buy from these guys when we boil our own. 10 plus times. Never disappoint read more

I've been to this spot probably 6ish times now because it's a stone's throw from my house. I've tried other places, but nowhere has really stacked up to Southern Boilers' consistent quality and good prices. They get me the best price for crawfish while still making sure they aren't getting such cheap crawfish that they're bad. They also have the #1 best boiled potatoes ever. Idk what they do!!! They're just special. They also have tons of space for social distancing and require mask wearing which is rare for crawfish spots. I'm so lucky to live by them! read more

First time after I heard so many great things about this place. I ordered the crawfish, potatoes, eggs, and garlic butter shrimp. The eggs were good! Every thing else I didn't like because it was all sweet. It like they mix sugar in the water they are boiling the food. Its different but if it's not spicy i don't want it. The customer service was nice! They explained everything and they let you know the crawfish was frozen. I would like to try their poboys if I visit again read more

This is the go to spot when you're looking to fill your taste for seafood. Got crabs because crawfish were not in yet and they were perfect. Crabs were seasoned very well and were full of meat. Pair your seafood option with corn, potatoes and this is something new but boiled eggs! Not bad! I thought it would be strange but it was quite tasty. They also have an array of fried seafood plates and chicken. I was able to try the fried catfish with the fried rice and it was ok. I think boiled seafood is where this place shines though. Can not wait to come back and try their shrimp and crawfish. If it's anything like the crabs, it's bound to be GOOD! This place is one of the best in the surrounding area. I would recommend anyone who's craving for seafood to come here because you'll be coming back again and again. read more

Crawfish. CRAWFISH. CRAW-FISH. They were a mouth-gasm. Seasoned well with enough spice. If they were to increase the spice level that wouldn't be an issue. The boiled shrimp, corn & potatoes were seasoned well too. The building is in an old Wendys so it may be a little hard to spot. It's a clean & open place with a few tables of you want to eat in. The service was great even though they were busy. I think this is my new spot for crawfish in Baton Rouge. read more

Southern Boilers - The best boiled crawfish & shrimp I've had in LA. Spiced just right. Great service and there was minimal wait even though they were busy. - Seafood Near Me - Baton Rouge, Louisiana

These crawfish were good ! Reasonably priced too. They had a bunch of other seafood items as well, turkey necks , boiled shrimp, garlic butter shrimp , corn and potatoes too. It's a legit crawfish place . Now I can stop driving all the way across town to get crawfish. read more

Very good boiled food! I was very hesitant but ended up being impressed. Seems to be very clean! Will definitely try again. Tried pigs feet, turkey necks, sausage, pig tails, corn and neck bones... read more

Got lunch today and was a little disappointed. Ordered the fried shrimp box and boudin egg rolls. The shrimp was decent but not great. The boudin egg rolls were pretty good though. My salad was hot, wilted shredded iceberg lettuce with ranch drizzled on the top. My french fries were hard and cold, and only had about 8 on the plate. And my "toast" was a slice of white bread just thrown in the box. I will say it smelled good in there when we got the food and their boiled shrimp was large. I may try their boiled seafood before ruling them out completely. read more

This is how you make a name for yourself in this crowded game of Louisiana restaurants. Bravo to the family there that's pumping out this great food. Had the Crawfish and pig feet(yeah and it's fu*king delicious). Both were up there as one of the best in the red stick. Looking forward to trying the other items they have on hand read more

This is finger licking good. I love the crawfish here. The neckbones was very delicious. They use to have my childhood drinks here, but now they're gone to make room for people in line. Speaking of the line, the place is pack which is a good example of how great the food here is. At the advice of one of the customers, I tried the crawfish eggs and it was good. I was kinda skeptical at first, but it was great. read more

Great taste and friendly service. Major improvement with service. Now, I understand that the price of crawfish changes with the daily market price. That's good to know. Try them out! read more

I've been back and forth trying to find a good place to get some decent sized crawfish for a good price and this place was very satisfying. Seasoning and spice was just right. The inside is clean and you can either eat inside or take it to geaux! Definitely recommend if you can tolerate spicy seafood. It's a nose runner :) read more

The absolute BEST crawfish in Baton Rouge. Perfect amount of seasoning and spice. They are always boiling so the crawfish is always fresh. You may have to wait a few minutes sometimes but who wouldn't mind waiting for freshly boiled crawfish?! Often times there's a long line, but that's just a testament to how good they are. The workers are so nice and always serve with a smile. They get the orders out quickly too so the line may look long but it moves pretty fast! Their boiled foods are good too. Eggs, corn, potatoes, turkey necks, sausage all seasoned to perfection. They serve fried seafoods as well. Although I haven't tried any foods from the kitchen I hear good things. read more

Great boiled seafood and friendly owners. It's my go to place in BR for crawfish, turkey necks, etc. love them!!!

I was back in town visiting family and was referred here to get my Cajun fix. Being a Louisiana native but a Texas transplant, I've grown accustomed to subpar Cajun fare at outrageous prices where I now reside. This place is legit and their food did not disappoint. Definitely coming back. read more

Crawfish are always good to me, sometimes small but always good. The fried rice isn't the best and the fried turkey wing isn't either, so I just stick to the crawfish read more
