However, our experience with Harper helped us get through it. They were very quick to the scene. They towed our car from a busy Austin roadway to our residential neighborhood and on to our driveway. (All this through very narrow streets without damaging any cars parked on street.) Our tower (Ballard) was very skilled in getting our car on and off the truck and very courteous throughout. I will most definitely keep the Harper's business card he gave me and use them in the future if I need a tow. I highly, highly, highly recommend Harper's Towing Service.

My car was hit by a Jeep last week and APD got my car towed immediately and it ended up at Rocha's…read more I probably called them a dozen times while I anxiously waited for my insurance and then the other driver's insurance to finally get it towed to Caliber Collision. They were nice and patient with me each time I called and always answered promptly. We went out to get everything out of my car and they provided a cart to put things in and Jason was so nice and stayed a little late to make sure we were all set and had me sign the release form to my insurance. When I called to switch to the other driver's insurance, they did it with zero issue. When my car was finally towed to Caliber, I received a call letting me know! I also wanted to add that I am not sure if the tow truck driver who picked up my car after my accident works for Rocha's, but he was also so nice and patient while I waited for my boyfriend to get me. My car was dead, but he was able to get all four doors open so I could at least crawl in and get some stuff from the back.

I called QUICK TOW LLC early in the morning, around 6:17 AM, using their 24-hour number. The person…read morewho answered sounded like he was half asleep. I even asked if I should call back later, but he said, "No." I explained clearly that I needed a tow for my car and specifically did NOT want a flatbed, as I've towed this car before and know it requires a dolly to be towed safely. He told me the driver wouldn't be in until around 6:30 or so, but assured me they've hauled Ferraris and other exotic cars before and knew what to do. So, I trusted him and waited. At about 7:15 AM, I received a text saying they were 15 minutes away, and true to their word, they showed up on time -- with a flatbed. The driver himself was very professional and polite. I explained my concerns again and told him I've had this exact issue before where flatbeds couldn't tow the car without damage. The driver worked to line up the car, but after checking, he came over and said the spoiler would definitely hit. At that point, I asked him not to tow it. He was understanding, apologized, and even suggested a few other companies that might be able to help. The frustrating part is that the driver wasn't told that I needed a dolly. When he called the office, the same gentleman -- now fully awake -- admitted they don't even have trucks with dollies. This was a complete waste of time and easily avoidable. If the person who answered my call had actually listened when I explained my needs, we wouldn't have gone through this whole mess. The driver gets five stars for professionalism, but the communication and dispatch side of QUICK TOW LLC really dropped the ball here.

Even more frustrating was that the officer who stopped to "help" him and the tow truck driver acted like they were doing my son a favor by calling and providing a tow truck for him instead of allowing him to call one himself. He wasn't in a wreck, truck just wouldn't start. He asked what it cost and was told "if you have insurance then you don't have to worry about it". Then, after presenting it as "help," they hit him with contracted rotation pricing, charging over $300 just to hook up his pickup and move it into the parking lot next door. I understand rotation pricing in an emergency or urgent situation, but this was completely taking advantage of a young kid. The entire experience with them was unprofessional and disappointing from start to finish. I would not recommend doing business with this company.
