Juste le Zinc is in the quiet neighborhood my husband and I stayed in during our trip to Paris. I love the location because it gives an authentic Parisian vibe. When we went, it seemed like we were the only non-French people there, which is usually a good sign.
My husband and I both got fish dishes; I can't remember the names exactly, especially because they were in French. But we were not disappointed by either dish. Bother we're made with fresh, local ingredients and were absolutely delicious. My tuna had a vinaigrette and fresh greens and beans. It was a delightful flavor combination. My husbands fish was lightly fried, with veggies and sauce, and was even better than mine.
They also had really good charcuterie sausage and bread as a starter. We shared a buffalo mozzarella and tomato salad to begin also. It was fresh and yummy.
Later, we came back for dessert--it was a berry and cream dish. Soooo good. The wine was also some of the best we had during our entire trip.
This restaurant was absolutely delightful, a wonderful authentic experience. My only caution is to non-French speakers because they speak very little English there. read more
