Finally tried this today. The turkey tips were awesome. Next time I will get my fries separate to avoid all the extra sauce. The turkey leg was really good. The greens were great. Sam and his team do a great job and the food is very good. Go visit George Floyd square, take in the sights and grab some turkey. I got the turkey tips (with crinkle cut fries) and their turkey links are good as well. The concept seems simple but we all love turkey (Minnesota is the largest turkey producing state in the country) and you can also support a local, black owned business. Recommended by a local, after visiting the George Floyd memorial. The store appeared relatively clean, considering the neighborhood. There's a backdrop to take photos inside. But, the food was a waste of money for sure. Turkey tips cooked too hard. Chewy and dry. Taste like it had been recooked or reheated. Corn on the cob, too much seasoning and soggy. Honestly, the garlic bread was the best part of the meal. The rest went in the trash. Didn't get a picture to post. That's how awful it was. Not to mention, seeing the 12 health code violations after the fact is definitely a bit concerning. Recommend? Nah, I'll pass. To each his own, though. read more

Got myself the tips & link combo. It was good. Will get it again. The corn was terrible. Water-logged, over-cooked. Corn cooks in two minutes, so there's no need to leave it soaking in hot water. Just have a pot of boiling water ready. read more

I ADORE THIS PLACE. First off, it is true to its name.. everything is JUST TURKEY. Which is fantastic if you are like me and try to not eat a TON of red meat.. this is the place for you. I have no actually physically eaten in the restaurant so I cannot necessarily speak to their service (except for 1x during covid times I really wanted it so had to go pick it up but they were so nice). The only reason I did not give this place 5 stars is not for the food or service, but simply for the fact that I have ordered it delivery multiple times even though it says available on DoorDash and open online but then the order will be cancelled and I will try to call the restaurant multiple times and no one picks up (could be short staffed). I always get the turkey tips (this is simply amazing, meaty, BBQ sauce with some crispy crinkle fries underneath), the turkey polish (reminds me of Chicago style with the toppings, it snaps and is quite literally amazing), the turkey tacos are always good and come with all the fixings, the spaghetti is also amazing, nice and saucy with lean turkey and perfectly cooked noodles. This is a place I order delivery from consistently and will continue to do so. The food is 10 out of 10! read more

If you are a turkey person then this is definitely a place to go. There are a variety of options. Lasagna, nachos, tacos, sandwiches. That in itself is pretty awesome. Now I admit I tried the Turkey tips. Baybay! I was NOT impressed at all. The turkey tips were eaten after a two hour drive. It was sealed and packaged accordingly because I did inform them of my route and they kindly packaged it very well. The turkey tips tasted like pork. I do not eat pork and I even had asked them if they knew about turkey knuckles because I was curious what part of the turkey were these tips coming from. The front service worker did not have a explanation. At all. I had another person taste them as well and they were almost sure it was pork too. Mind you, this was the person that cooks turkey knuckles. So yeah! No! I am not a fan of the turkey tips but have tried the lasagna. Impressed. Tried the turkey nachos. Impressed. I have returned a few times as travelled and the location is amazing because it is set in the George Floyd memorial area. It is a beautiful memorial area. Historic. Although it is saddening history it is our history and it is necessary. The actual layout of the restaurant is not as fancy as some May desire but the service for my experiences...yes with an s, has been awesome. So definitely a repeat customer. Again! I gave this business 1-star for the flavor of their food which I was under advisement of possibly not being prepared in a clean environment. I took a chance and thank God I didn't get sick. The spices were pretty good; however the place was filthy. There was damage to the property that has not been addressed or repaired. Brother, clean this place up and it could become a real gem for the George Floyd Square. This was our first time at Just Turkey. We found it through a coupon promotion for their turkey tacos. We chose the original tacos made with ground turkey and generously filled with lettuce, tomato and onion. For those of you with wheat problems or dairy problems, you will be happy to know the tortillas are corn and there is no cheese on the tacos. A nice red salsa is served on the side and if you ask they also have jerk sauce which is flavorful but not too spicy. You really need the sauce since the meat is not seasoned on its own. Nice to have the option to salsa or not to salsa! We also tried a couple of their specialties: the turkey chili and the greens with smoked turkey . My boyfriend and I came here once before and the food was delicious. On our way to the Minneapolis Institute of Art, we decided to stop in instead of getting some ramen. My oh my! I forgot how delicious the food was. I had the jerk Turkey Tips and spaghetti with garlic bread. My man had the chipotle burger and fries and he enjoyed it as well. Great idea with all turkey products. The turkey is cooked perfect. We ordered the turkey Italian, which can't compete with the beef Italian. Jerk & BBQ tips were good, the jerk a little to salty. Also ordered greens which were not bad, less salt would do the greens some justice​. We had fries, they were over cooked & way to salty. I love the just turkey idea.
