I'm currently sitting in California really upset that I'm not sitting in Chicago because there is no Just Salad near my house here. When we were in Chicago, we were staying just around the corner from Just Salad and found it on Yelp while we were looking for a healthy option. We had NO idea how popular Just Salad was in the area. We understood very quickly how delicious it was and came back two days in a tow because it was so tasty. I tried the Thai Chicken Crunch salad one day and the Buffalo Chicken salad the next. Both were amazing. I was also impressed with how much food was included in each salad! I got the full salad the first day, and the pick two the second day so I could also try some soup. The food was amazing, the service was SO fast (almost overwhelmingly so), and this location was clean and so convenient. Just Salad will always have a special place in my heart because oh my gosh was it such a delight! read more

I've stopped here before a class a couple of times and I am a fan of Just Salad! You can build your own, or pick from a bunch of the menu ones, I have only done the latter the couple of times I've been there. I've had the chipotle cowboy and the Tokyo supergreens. The chipotle cowboy was decent, I have had better but I think it was because there wasn't enough dressing. My own fault though because they literally put the dressing on and you say "when" and they stop. I did get adequate dressing on my Tokyo supergreens and that was excellent. It had grilled chicken, carrot edamame slaw, avocado broccoli, almonds, furikake seasoning and of course the super greens. I really like how you can have them chop it up for you, such a convenient idea so there's no need for extra knives or silverware, you can just dig right in and save yourself the trouble of cutting and tossing the salad. Portion sizes are huge, but the price is also high, most of the full size salads are over $10 after tax. I can't complain though because the food has been really tasty, healthy, fresh and filling. Everyone in there is super nice. I will be a regular here for sure! read more

I've been back in the office for only a few weeks, and Just Salad has been a highlight. The service is great--they already seem to remember me and go out of their way for me--and so is the food. I also appreciate that their to-go containers are cardboard instead of plastic, and they offer so many plant-based meat options. I'll be a regular! read more

I got my salad with ritual the app today for their 1 dollar offer till March 22! Yes one dollar! One the side note my salad came exactly as I customized it on the app and tasted very fresh. The food itself wasn't horrible but if I knew the portion sizes were so small I never would have bothered. When I took my food out of the bag back at class, it shifted and you could see that the bowl was half empty. Horrible value for the money - 10.58 with a student discount and a half empty bowl of mostly rice. Never again. read more

Just Salad is my go-to lunch place. You cannot go wrong with the Chipotle Cowboy salad. ITS SO GOOD. I usually switch up the dressings and get it, although there are a lot of other options that also do not disappoint. Staff is friendly and welcoming. They just added mason jars with succulents in each table -- super cute. Im fortunate to have JS nearby, where eating healthy is both affordable and delicious (which is why I go a little too much!). I pay through the Level Up JS app and have also raked up points and gotten free meals. I super recommend this place. read more

This is a review of the food only, as we did delivery through Door Dash. I ordered the Autumn Caesar Wrap, which is a play on traditional Caesar by adding pears and dried cranberries, and it was delicious! The ingredients were well mixed in (a pet peeve of mine with wraps is when it's unbalanced and you get one bit of all lettuce and the next of all chicken, etc.), and they put ample dressing on, almost too much. Price was reasonable too, especially considering it was a pretty good-sized wrap and was more filling than I expected. The delivery took quite a while, we got a notification it was on its way and it still took a good half hour despite being only a few blocks from my apartment, but that's Door Dash's issue and not theirs, so I won't ding them for it. I plan to go check them out in person soon to try something else since they had so many good-looking options. read more

Honeslty ....one of the best services I've EVER received it was such a long hard day but the warm energy as soon as i walked in CHANGED MY ENTIRE DAY...specifically the manager Rosie gave such a warm and vibrant service that i decided to make this a regular spot...she ensured that after i received my order everything was exactly perfect BUT what made the experience special was her conversation and how at HOME she made me feel...after such a grueling day at work it made ALL the difference and felt OBLIGED to make a review although i usually never make any...recommend 100% if your looking for a great meal and a space to unwind and catch you're breath...thank you thank you thank you!!! I bought the miso ginger shrimp bowl and also the reusable salad bowl. I was told my next order would be in the plastic bowl, as what I was getting was a "warm bowl," I guess just used for cold salads. Okay, no big deal, but once I got back to the office, they completely forgot the "warm" component of the farro & quinoa base of my salad. I can't believe I spent $12+ on an incomplete bowl, and a reusable bowl they wouldn't let me use on my first visit. Meh. read more

I eat here often and today I was HANGRY and needed to stay healthy, so I went for yet another trip to JS. X'Asia and Shaolin helped me and they easily game me my favorite visit yet. They not only cheered me up, but made me a fresh salad and even got me to try a new dressing - I love it! Thanks, X'Asia and Shaolin!!!! For JS overall, it's a bit overpriced but fresh and filling. They sometimes have the smoothies 1/2 price during morning and afternoon hours. PLEASE just keep them more affordable -- ppl would but them much more frequently. BERRY WILD FOR EVER! :) read more

I work around the area and Just Salad is a good place for a light lunch. I've tried several of their salads and the seasonal ones seem to be my favorite at most times. You can always build your own, but I recommend choosing a menu option as it can be cheaper. The service here is always great and the staff is extremely friendly. Jacquia did an amazing job with my order. I ordered the Sweet Valley however asked for several substitutes and she made sure I got exactly what I wanted. Very professional and efficient. Thank you for a wonderful service. I will continue to frequent this place every now and then, hopefully it doesn't disappoint! read more

Super convenient place that lets you go crazy with salad, or let's you stick to a well-constructed menu. I've only been here once but for the amount of salad you get, this place beats out all of your local health food store trying to serve you kids portions for gourmet prices. My favorite thing is that if you buy a re-usable bowl, you get $1 off your salad which is amazing because it promotes green consumption, and makes it super convenient to carry back home without fear of getting broken or damaged. Overall, I can't wait to go back and try lots of different salads on those days I wanna eat out for a good lunch. Would definitely recommend for your salad cravings! read more

I placed an online order. I ordered the TOKYO SUPERGREENS SALAD and the order was totally screwed up. The manager tossed out the original salad in the container! Such a waste of food! So he started to make another but it was the wrong salad, and yup into the trash! So he made the third one, third time is supposed to be the charm, well nope not in this case. He added cheese, even though I said no Cheese! I just took the salad and ate some of it, but there was (allergy to dairy) so much cheese I couldn't eat it. At this point I learned two things. 1. This place contributes to the fact that not only Americans, but a lot of people waste so much food in this world. 2. This place sucks. Just salad? More like Just sucks. read more

My first time here, I stopped in here after class as I wanted to get a salad for lunch. I was amazed by the options they had on the menu & the BYO salad. I got the BYO with lettuce, spinach, cucumbers, jalapeños, guac, carrots and a little bit of chickpeas. I chose olive oil & avocado dressing. Pretty basic ingredients but the salad was soooo yummy! The ingredients and dressings were very very fresh. The avacado dressing was mild in spice but packed with flavor. The staff was also quite friendly and helpful, my salad cost me $9.60. I would say a bit pricey but I would be paying around the same at a chipotle or any other restaurant. I will be back to try the salads on menu. The avacado dressing is a must try!! read more

Horrible service. We order salads constantly for lunch at work and there is not any utensils given. Also, I ordered a $16 Caesar salad and they did not put any dressings on the salad even though it was marked heavy dressing with lemon. No lemon sent. I called customer service who just stated that they would tell the staff. You can't call the store and because you ordered through Grubhub, you have to fight with them for your order corrected. HOW HARD IS IT FOR PEOPLE TO READ A RECEIPT AND PUT ON SALAD DRESSING. Me and my colleagues decided we will not waste our lunch ordering from here because you never know what you are going to get. read more

Was in desperate need for something that wasn't carb or sugar heavy and this was a delightful surprise. The peanut butter smoothie has amazing flavor without a sweet aftertaste. And then there's the Ahi Tuna Salad!!!! Just the right amount of everything to make a perfectly balanced meal. And especially not overdressed. Love that the hours are later for the students in the area too. Can't wait to come back!! read more

I've been coming here for about two years now and they have been fairly consistent. Besides the wrong dressing being put on my salad one time, I've always had a positive experience. Pros: Salad's are always fresh, they use good ingredients, and they don't skimp and give you large portions. I love that they are eco-friendly, so you can buy a reusable bowl for a dollar. Not only that, that bowl gets you two extra ingredients, avocado, or an egg at no charge every time you use the bowl. I appreciate that they give students discounts now too. I am also a part of their LevelUp program, so I earn points for a free salad! Con: Prices have gone up a bit since I started going there, approximately $1 for their salads. Maybe this is more of a frustration that its so expensive to eat healthy. In comparison to their competitors, they are a great deal. This is my go to spot in the loop for a healthy salad for lunch, and I don't think that is going to change. read more

Just the place I was looking for. Sometimes you just want a simple or complex salad for lunch and this place has it. They even have other items, which is nice. For example, they have avocado toasts, bowls, and wraps. The place is nice and clean with a modern feel. It's fast casual. It's inviting and has a rustic vibe to it. They have places as centerpieces on their table. I wasn't super hungry when I stopped in, so I got something light and it was still a lot. I ended up taking half of it home. So, pricepoint-wise, it works for the city. I got the healthy roasted chicken cobb. The chicken's texture was a little odd, but the rest of the salad was delicious. Yay for avocado! Definitely a great option if you're looking for salad. read more

This restaurant is a great concept: healthy and creative salads that you can enjoy eating AND you can feel good about your lunch/dinner choice. The staff is super friendly and hardworking, and the dining area is consistently clean The Buffalo Chicken salad is the best salad I have ever had in my life, I recommend adding cilantro and jalapeno to it for some added flavor. The Buffalo Chicken salad is my world and Butana is the gatekeeper. I come to this location at least 3 times a week and each time Butana welcomes me so warmly it's like meeting up with a friend :) She gives great customer service, as does pretty much everyone that works there. Don't be intimidated if there's a long line, it really does move fast. Less than 5 minutes to get your order started even if it's to the door. This honestly is a great lunch option. You won't find here a bed of romaine lettuce full of those annoying spines or greens that have gone limp. And they're pretty heavy handed with protein too #meat. read more

The concept of just salad is great but the one start I specifically for this location. 5 visits in a row and the staff put the wrong item, dressing etc in my salad and are always non apologetic about it. Today was the last straw! From trainees to seasoned staff they do it! Just not worth the aggravation! After posting the review, someone from Just Salad sent me a somewhat generic response and a coupon for $15. I decided to go to the 120 West Adams branch which is like being in a third world country, barbaric and unorganized. And naturally, the salad was not made as I wanted it but decided to keep it and redeem the coupon. They refused to redeem the coupon and were so rude. When I just decided to just pay for it, I told them I would add this to my Yelp review. They just laughed. So to those reading this review, note JUST SALAD does not care for Yelps reviews and will just continue running a rude, unprofessional and who knows, unhealthy establishment until the ripple effect takes place. read more

The eggs were great but everything else left something to be desired. The bacon had a lot of gristle on it and was very salty. The hash browns weren't cooked enough. They weren't browned at all, and the toast wasn't toasted enough. It was also chewy and much harder than I would have expected. My sister ordered the corned beef hash. She was disappointed because there was very little corned beef! It was mostly hash browns... she said if she'd known that the serving was so small she would've ordered it as a side. She felt the same way I did about the hash browns and toast. They also charged her $4 for a toddler-sized glass of orange juice. I understand that it's freshly squeezed, but the size was a complete rip-off. The environment is louder than most restaurants, but it's comfortable. The bathroom was also clean. My sister wanted to let the waitress know that the corned beef serving was minimal so she could warn other patrons before they ordered it. She genuinely wasn't trying to get a discount, but the waitress insisted on mentioning the complaint to her manager. She was very apologetic even though it wasn't her fault. I came in because I was curious, when I walked by a few weeks ago, it was busy. After seeing pictures of their sandwiches, I wanted to try a corn beef sandwich to compare to others I've had. They serve breakfast all day, but I was told they would prefer I ordered lunch if possible, luckily I wanted lunch but they did say they would still serve breakfast if I wanted. Kinda an odd thing to say. The menu is pretty big like a nfl play sheet and takes up a lot of space when looking at it. Over all, it's a nice place with good service. Plenty of seating options from the bar (they serve alcohol and wide variety of pops and shakes) and a variety of booth tables. The food didn't blow me away or anything and I thought it was kind of bland. Maybe I'd go for actual breakfast next time but it may just be if I can't find anything else, which this place is usually open. The place 4 stars, the food 3.5.

The Tyskie Gronie is a golden color lager with a light hoppy flavor. The Warka Classic is more coppery in color, a little bready or malty, with some light herbal lemony flavors, with a drier finish. Okocim "O.K. Beer" is a pilsner, a bit floral and sweet, crisp, and lightly but sharply hoppy. These were great frefreshing pizza beers. They also had a wide range of beers from crafts to midwest standards. We also showed them the recipe for Orange Crush, invented in Ocean City, and Maryland's Official State Drink since Jun 2025. Hey, they've got a shandy on their menu, so we can order our fsvorite summer drink if we want during Chicago "false spring" heat wave this week :-) We shared appetizers of calamari and pierogis. The $17.50 calamari was tender and hot, lightly coated with crisp flakey salt and pepper crust, with spicy marinara for dipping and lemon to brighten the flavors. We cut the tender seared $13 pierogis to share the thinly wrapped potatoes & cheese, meat, and sauerkraut & mushroom, with sides and servings of homemade bacon-specked sauerkraut, sour cream, and applesauce. We would have ordered more of the peirogis, to have more than a few halves per person, but there was pizza work to do! Flo & Santos is (are?) serious with their tavern-style pizza! The crust is terrifically thin, like Italian piada bread, cooked crispy crunchy like a cracker, and cut into squares for sharing :-) Of course covered with all kinds of creative toppings, and red marinara sauce, or garlic cream white sauce, or no-sauce! We got the heart-shaped Valentines Feb 13-15 special with thin-cut pepperoni, lightly spicy and cutely relaxed about the exact shape :-). We added Nama's Veggie pizza, generously covered in tender sweet spinach, fresh tomato, bitey diced onion, chunks of sweet juicy green pepper, and a scattering of black olives and mushrooms for umami flavoring. Quite a marvelous collection of flavors. And we went a little wild with Marco's Italian Beef pizza! Don't shy away. They didn't imitate that classic Chicago sandwich. Instead, they lay that savory thin-sliced beef over tomato marinara pizza-sauce, then add a flsvorful zingy hot giardiniera, and make it even richer with fire-roasted tomatoes and caramelized onion. I think we got the $29 14-inch size of each pizza, plenty of deliciously-topped crunchy pizza for our group of six adults and three children, with some wonderful leftovers to take home :-) For a special dessert, they offered a super-cute whipped-cream-decorated heart-shaped strawberry $6.50 gelato with a chocolate-covered strawberry. When we saw the one, we shared several more around the table. A lovely refreshing finish. loved the food and drink, and the friendly attentive staff. We showed up without a reservation at 4:20pm on a Saturday, and with little waiting, they assembled a table for our group of nine. As we left two hours later, they were setting up a table for 20! We found street-parking pretty easily nearby for one car, and most of us arrived about two blocks away at the Roosevelt stop on the Orange, Green, and Red "L" lines. It makes it a "one and done" place for me, which, funny enough, two different bartenders have asked me if my drink is one and done when they see I am paying cash. They do have a large outside seating area and some okay specials during the week. Bartenders are usually pretty attentive, but I cannot help but think they cater more to regulars sitting at the bar than others who are just popping in.
