A few things, permitting and communication good. The roofing crews clearly knew what they were doing, overall happy with the quality of the finished product. Very expensive compared to competitors. Caused some damage to the property during tear off which I had to point out. Scratched patio railing in a few spots, not happy on an expensive home. This damage was rectified. Also tore out a landscaping light which remains unfixed to this day. For the premium price expected better care of the property as well as follow up to repair all the damaged items. Thought I was paying for local quality, not storm chaser behavior. Only giving three stars based on quality of roof installation, which I paid a premium for. I guess I will fix the landscape light myself and not use them on other properties. read more

Brady & Noah are the best! I'd give them 6 stars if I could as they have gone above & beyond! They are very knowledgeable & professional. We have been troubleshooting an annoying house interior / exterior water issue for several years with plumbers, hardwood floor companies, siding companies & other roof / gutter companies. No one can figure it out! After thoroughly inspecting the roof & gutter system along with the interior, they have recommended a soil specialist to test for bentonite. If bentonite is the true problem, our issue can be rectified & we can move on without spending more money on troubleshooting! read more

Sleazy. In August I met with Mike Conner and Noah Morton to discuss a hail damage claim. Both Mike and Noah extolled JRG's ability to understand and work with insurance companies. Noah met with the insurance adjuster, and I forwarded JRG the subsequent estimate from the insurance company, which includes the following statement " Let us know immediately (and prior to beginning any work) if you have any questions regarding the estimate." On September 25 I received a letter from Brian Friend, President of JRG, with the following statement: "If this is an insurance claim, we will send an invoice to both you and your insurance company as quickly as possible. The invoice will include the permit fee and any supplements that were approved by your insurance company." Two days later they sent me a contract which I signed. JRG subsequently completed the roof, and never submitted any supplemental expenses to the insurance company. I paid them all the insurance proceeds plus my deductible and other expenses I specifically approved. There was $1,400 in supplemental expenses never approved by the insurance company that JRG billed me for. I asked repeatedly why they weren't following Brian Friend's commitment to only invoice me insurance-approved expenses. They have completely stone-walled me, not even acknowledging his letter. I have now received from JRG a notice they will file a lien against my property. The fact JRG never even submitted supplemental expenses to the insurance company for approval, and then billed me for them, indicates to me this was a con from the start and Brian Friend's written statement to me was a knowing misrepresentation designed to induce me to sign their contact. read more

I am happy to enthusiastically recommend this company that replaced our entire roof. After dong some research and obtaining bids, we decided to have our roof replaced by Just Roofs and Gutters. Initially, we had some reservations because the company was fairly new. However, after looking more deeply, I found that the company founder and his team had many years of experience in the industry. And, their upfront assistance and hand-holding, suggested they were very quality oriented and customer focused. So, we chose them. From the beginning, their personnel were "on it". Their state-of-the-art technology provided a highly accurate bid which wound up matching the insurance adjuster's almost precisely. Regarding insurance, due to the age of our roof and previous assessments from our insurance carrier (Country) that the roof didn't need replacement, we were preparing ourselves to have to pay for the roof out-of-pocket. JRG did two things to assist. 1. Speak with our insurance agent to head off any problems regarding implementing our claim. 2. Meeting the adjuster on-site to assist and represent our interests. The result? Country covered the cost to replace the entire roof minus our deductible and a minimal charge to upgrade our shingles. To say we were relieved would be an understatement. Just Roofs and Gutters worked with us closely on scheduling taking into account our needs, the holidays and, of course, weather. In advance of their arrival, we received information via email on how to prepare for the replacement. The project was scheduled for two days and we were prepared to evacuate to our daughter's house to avoid the noise. The crew arrived early and got to work. We also received updates as the day went on. Much to our surprise and delight, the job was completed the same day! Lots of factors played into the speed of the job and we had no concerns that corners were cut. In fact, the Project Manager reviewed a couple upgrades they implemented when he came out to inspect the crew's work and clean up, which was awesome. The Project Manager also performed a second magnetic sweep of our property for debris and nails. He has also offered to return for another sweep when our snow had melted. Further, the Project Manager kept us in the loop regarding our town's required final inspection. As expected, the installation passed without a hitch, with no remaining conditions to be met. Since the roof was completed, we've been contacted several times regarding our satisfaction. They've also provided documentation and instructions on how to implement our Owens Corning warranty and have told us what we need to provide our insurance agent so we can obtain our new roof and upgraded shingles discounts. The bottom line is this. We're extraordinarily happy we chose Just Roofs and Gutters. Further, we will wholeheartedly recommend them to friends and neighbors who need any roofing work. The entire installation of my roof was a complete failure in customer service. I was sold product with a great warranty that was not available and had to change the shingles that I originally wanted. The crew rarely showed up on time and even came onto my property when I left the gate clossed and did not give them permission to enter. It took 4-5 times to get the roof done - my initial installation date was moved so that it could be done in one day -it took 6 weeks from start to finish. Even the invoicing at the conclusion was wrong and took several emails to get it corrected. Jude was the only contact that tried to help fix the disaster. Also, you should know that my initial contact refused to quote on gutters (the whole reason I wanted them was for one stop service, which I did not get). I can not tell anyone that they should use this company. I am hoping that the installation holds (although the weather conditions were terrible on days they showed up so I am concerned that it won't hold up) because I would dread having to work with them again - with the exception of Jude. The second: big mama of a hail storm trashed our roof. He helped us navigate the insurance maze quickly and professionally. Then, just as quickly, we had a shiny new roof! And the third time he helped us was when we bought a new home in the mountains. We needed our roof inspected as part of the purchase process. He came out in the dead of winter when it was dreadfully cold. Some parts of the roof were snow covered, so he had to come out twice, in fact. One gave us a quote but then was never able to complete the work. Then we found Just Roofs and Gutters. I turned to Nextdoor to get a recommendation from actual neighbors who had used a roofing company and had a positive experience. Just Roofs and Gutters got high praise from my neighbors. They responded immediately, assured me that I would not be charged a thing beyond my deductible even if the insurance company didn't agree with the scope of work needed and dealt directly with the insurance company, minimizing the hassle I had to deal with. The crew showed up, worked really hard in the hot sun and acted very professionally. The project manager was kind, helpful and understanding. They were extremely conscientious about cleaning up the mess including getting the debris from the old roof off the lawn as quickly as possible -- sparing the grass underneath.
