I've had WestPro come quote the same job twice, once in 2023 and once in 2025. It was two very…read moredifferent experiences to the point of being hard to believe it's the same company. The job is for removal and replacement of soffits, fascia, gutters and downspouts on a 1-story ranch with 200 linear feet of gutters. In 2023 a woman came out, did the walk through and then sent me a quote with details about the materials, a cost breakdown for each part of the project - quantity and cost for removal of gutters, removal of downspouts, installation of gutters, installation of downspouts. It was very professional (I work with contractors and job bids for a living) and provided all the necessary details of the cost. In 2023 they refused to address the soffit and fascia so I declined to move forward with them. In 2025 a man came out, did the walk through and then insisted on setting up a follow up appointment to walk through the project quote. I did not receive the info packet ahead of time and was disappointed by what I received - a detailed project description for siding work (presumably for the soffits and fascia but the material was specific to siding installation which isn't relevant to either of those locations) with no scoped quote for any aspect of the project. There were no details of the materials to be used or breakdown of the cost specifics. The dollar amounts were hand written into a spec sheet of "good / better / best" (photo attached because I don't even know what to call it, it's definitely not a job quote). I understand that materials costs have changed significantly and the job might cost more today than two years ago, but if you're going to waste my time with a second meeting to quote the job, actually quote the job. So your experience with WestPro may entirely depend upon the person you randomly end up with as your project coordinator. Homeowner be wary. I'll update this review when I've heard back with legit quotes and decisions on a path forward. For now it's a very unimpressed meh.

When I finally found some licensed roofers, getting a quote or responses was a challenge. Rocky Mountain Roof Doctors was the most professional and responsive. They gave me time frames for coming out to do the estimate and delivered within that time frame. They sent the estimate in a timely fashion and quoted far less for the repair than the other companies--and those companies took far longer to do the estimate and didn't seem interested in my small job. Since my repair was not urgent, they let me know they'd call when they planned to be in the neighborhood for other work and would swing by for our repair. They did just that, calling the day before and giving us a four-hour window the next day. Crew members came by about 1/2 hour into that window and were done rather quickly. I was still traumatized by the fierceness of this storm and the extensive damage to all my new and existing gardens, and vowed not to use any contractor who used these tactics. The phone onslaught continued for weeks, supplemented by my doorbell being run on an almost daily basis. Early on, a friend who knew what I had been through recommended a roofing contractor she had used - Tom Krause at Advanced Construction Roofing (ACR) - and since he was NOT one of the ones who was badgering me, I contacted him to come out and take a look at the damage - but only after I had a chance to come to terms with the emotional aspect of the damage to my property. Tom was prompt and courteous and very respectful of my wishes, and worked with me over the summer to get the most complete compensation from my insurance company and recommend where best to spend that claim money. I ended up with an impact resistant roof, which lowered my insurance costs and increased my property value, and also replaced all of my gutters (instead of the few that the insurance company allowed), for just a very nominal investment on my part. I decided to wait until late fall to actually do the work to minimize the risk of another storm and another claim at my high deductible, and Tom never bothered me about that decision and came out numerous times, and personally oversaw the work, cleanup and inspection that followed. He even went out of his way to replace a screen that was not part of the hail damage that was tricky to fit and required several back and forth trips with the window company. The…read morehuge hailstorm that took out Colorado Mills also hit my neighborhood pretty hard and finished off the roof. I put off doing the roof as long as I could but this spring, I could wait no more. I found Altitude Contracting here on Yelp, but they were also recommended by my Allstate agent as well. I called them and Kyle Schroder the owner got right back with me to set up a time to come look at the house. He came and gave us an estimate and then went to work to help me file a claim with Allstate. As it turns out, Allstate was pretty hard to work with and Kyle went above and beyond to get Allstate to pay what they should. Once we were able to get Allstate on board, Kyle and company went to work. While it took 3 months to get Allstate to pay, it only took Altitude ONE DAY to do the roof from start to finish. They not only replaced the felt and shingles, but also the vent covers, flashing and all the other metal. It looked FABULOUS and when I looked around at the end of the day, you absolutely could not tell they had been there other than having great looking shingles. No trash, no debris, no nails or screws left behind to get in your tires. Perfect job. Now, they absolutely were NOT the cheapest (I had gotten quotes for up to 2000.00 less). However, I have had several roofs done over the years at various properties and Altitude was the fastest and most professional roofing company I have ever worked with.
