It instantly took me back to the restaurant scene in DC, and I absolutely loved it. Our server was extremely kind and attentive, which made the whole evening even more special. As a family of avid foodies who love trying new restaurants and hunting down great food, we're not easy to impress, and this place completely won our hearts. We ordered several appetizers, pastas for our mains, and finished with dessert. Every single dish was satisfying, from start to finish. Whether you're planning a date night or a fun night out with the girls, I highly recommend this place!

Grab yourself a reservation ‍…read more Decided to take my dad out for his birthday and when looking for a restaurant, The Club on Post popped up and looked delicious. When walking, we missed the restaurant initially because this place is clearly, a hidden gem, especially being hidden along the nightclub strip. We were blown away by the curated vibes. From the thoughtful decor to The Office being projected on the wall. It felt hip, fresh and refined. We decided to craft our own drinks - Arnold Palmers, his favorite. But they only had sparkling lemonade, which actually made it even better. We shared a salad that had some cooked pears and squash alongside the greens, walnuts, cranberries and blue cheese. I do feel like the cooked sweet elements overpowered the salad with their sweetness and textures a bit. Wondering if a refreshing pear for crunch or more dressing could have brightened it up and provided a salty, sweet balance. I ordered the Short Ribs with a parsnip purée and roasted carrots and it did not disappoint. Everything paired beautifully together, perfectly salted and cooked. I finished the entire plate. Dad got the Pork Chop and while it was overcooked, he loved the flavors happening in the dish and was pleasantly surprised by the refreshing treatment of the kale. The staff was attentive and very friendly. Overall a great experience. We would definitely come back!

It was perfect for an early morning to give me energy and the cheese and egg blended so well together and the pesto cheese was actually really good with it. They ran out of jalapeño cheese bagels, which is my favorite around eight in the morning for a Saturday, but I'm glad I got to try another flavor. The people here are really nice. I was debating between two cream cheese flavors and then they said I could do half-and-half which I loved. The Greek goddess spread is also amazing. Same with the honey walnut. I even got little chunks of walnut in the cream which I did not expect. I'll definitely be coming back. It's a little store with chairs and tables outside where you can eat at.

BUT ONLY FROM THIS PLACE!! I've noticed that Vietnamese coffees tend to taste different depending on where you get it from. The little short lady with the brown highlights in her hair that helped me today was so damn sweet and precious, it makes me want to almost cry LOL. Ambience kind of reminds me of an open tavern, but more... modernized and simplified I guess? Anyways- I work at a doggy daycare and the Vietnamese coffee here hits all the points for me: smooth, creamy, delicious, and TURNS ME INTO AN EVEN BIGGER ENERGIZER BUNNY THAN SOME OF THE DOGS I WORK WITH. Love love love!!

Food came out fairly fast too! Ordered the Breakfast sando, The Chick, Hojicha tea, and brownie sugar Hojicha Latte. Sandos were both very delicious. Breakfast one had beef and with sauce made it quite a messy eat. The Chick featured a giant piece of taiwanese fried chicken. Solid crisp and great spiced seasoning. Fair warning- the chicken feels like its never going to end. It took me 5 minutes from one and of the chicken to reach my actual sando. Neither of these are easy to eat. Be prepared to unhinge that jaw. Drinks were solid! Personally my hojicha tea was a tad on the bitter side, but the sweetener helped. Worth it stop if you're in the downtown SJ area.

Coffee was also better than I expected and worked well with the sandwich. The staff were friendly and easygoing, and even though it was fairly busy, the wait wasn't long. Overall, it's just a nice, low-key place for a casual bite. Nothing overly fancy, but definitely somewhere I'd go back to when I'm in the mood for a good sandwich and a relaxed atmosphere.

The vibes are great for brunch, a coffee date and even a family outing. They have a bar with a TV which is a plus. The service was top notch, all the servers and wait staff have great energy and move quickly! My server Roxanne was attentive, kind and helpful in deciding on what to get. I started with the Cookie Monster Latte, a cookie butter brown sugar latte with cold foam, a brown sugar, cookie crumb rim, Biscoff cookie crumbles and topped with a Biscoff cookie. 10 out of 10 would recommend! To start I ordered the Midtown Trio which comes with any 3 of their signature pancakes or French toast. I chose Peach Cobbler Pancake, Tiramisu Pancake and Classic Brioche French Toast, all were delicious! The peach cobbler one needed a lil something extra, maybe a peach, brown sugar and cinnamon syrup type vibe to it. My favorite out of the three was the Tiramisu, while the pancake itself wasn't soaked in espresso, I could tell they threw a little in the batter and that mascarpone cream on top really set it off! The Brioche French toast is a classic and hard to mess up and they definitely are doing it justice here. It was fluffy cinnamony and had the right amount of egg. For my main course, I ordered the Santa Maria Skillet with Coffee Cake and the Midtown Duo from their Chef Benedict's Selection, I chose one Surf and Turf Bene and one Crab Cake Bene with hash browns. The Hollandaise on both was silky, creamy and rich. The surf and turf was stacked with shrimp and nice piece of steak, I will say the steak was a bit chewy. While the Crab cake was loaded with REAL crab meat and fried to perfection. I'd highly recommend both options. 10/10 overall experience, will be returning.

We made a reservation ahead of time since we didnt want to wait to be seated on a Saturday. When we first got there at 1 pm, it was super busy. They were getting the table ready when we got there. We ate and lingered for awhile and by the time we left, the lunch crowd was dying down. Service was friendly and great despite them being so busy. I ordered the fish tacos and they were good. Not the best I have ever had, but good nevertheless. I was surprised that the tacos had a flour tortilla. I didn't really read the description on the menu, I just saw fish tacos and knew that's what I wanted for lunch. A fish taco on a flour vs corn tortilla is a debate, it just comes to personal preference but it does change the flavor. I prefer corn tortillas but I did enjoy these tacos on a flour tortilla. The fish was crispy, but I felt like something was missing overall from the tacos...seasoning, maybe? My friends all enjoyed their meal selections. Portions were decent for the price and the prices were reasonable. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We choose to sit inside since it was sooo hot and we wanted to be cool as we were enjoying our meal. Parking can be an issue around due to the popularity of the area but there are parking garages, parking lots and street parking around. The restaurant is right on the corner and hard to miss. Bathrooms were clean.

They're quick and super friendly. 5 stars for the employees for sure. But like other yelpers point out, the quality of the food is whack. I came here on a Sunday for brunch. I thought it was going to be full after reading other reviews. But it was practically empty. Seems like things have changed. I tried the Eggs Benedict... the sauce was okay and the hashbrowns were decent. They're cooked with onion, which was a good addition. So I ate my plate, I finished it, but I don't want to come back for more. Even though I wasn't full. I don't think I've ever left brunch feeling hungry! I also had a vanilla latte, it was good but with a huge espresso machine like they have, they should have way more options for drinks. The atmosphere is nice. It's a huge restaurant, with great lighting. The outside seating looks just as nice as the inside. It's a nice neighborhood so the outside seating is a good option. I won't be back.
