Instead, they were very basic cupcakes with printed, circle, edible images on top. The theme was cute, but the overall result didn't feel custom enough to justify the price, especially when similar cupcakes could be purchased at a grocery store for much less. I was willing to pay extra to support a local bakery and get something special, but unfortunately, these fell short of my expectations. I did reach out to the bakery to let them know and they offered me 20% off my next order, but unfortunately I will not be ordering from them again. Pictures below reflect what I saw on their Instagram vs the custom cupcakes I received. Base price was $25 per dozen plus $15 per dozen for "customization". So total was $80 plus tax, which is $40/dozen.

They make some really amazing looking cakes that even my cousin that works in a New York City bakery is impressed. We've been going there for about 10 years and everytime there was a special occasion we would get a cake. BUT the last few years I've been disappointed. The staff hasn't always been the friendliest. I've had a couple inncidents when I ordered a cake and the person working there just jotted it down like they could of cared less if it would turn out how I asked. One cake I got for my husband looked nothing like how I ordered it. I had to wait for them to fix it, which made us late for our plans and it still didn't look good, but they gave it to me for free. There was another time where I was trying to order a cake and when I was telling them what I wanted a girl told me how they couldn't do stuff like that when I had already had one done like that. The most recent cake was a jewelry box cake that my husband had made and they left out the fact that the top was Styrofoam. So, some people didn't get cake because we thought we had more cake than we did. But when we've called and complained they've always made it right. By giving us the cake for free or giving a discount, which is awesome. I feel bad only leaving 4 stars because this place definitely has good cakes. I've just been disappointed the last couple years with their customer service.
