Believe it or not, my sister who resides in Massachusetts, found this place one nite when we were on the phone both dissing on 'The Other Donut place'. So, I went and found JDF and WOW! Now I have half the staff at my job begging for a 'donut run'. The good thing is that they now have locations in Royal Palm Beach, Stuart and Palm Beach Gardens. Soon to open will be a location in Boyton Beach (guess the requests from south PB County worked!) BUT, you need to get there early!! They open at 7 a.m. and once they're gone - that's it for the day. They have their standard selections, and some specials du jour - you never know what there will be on the shelf when you walk in. It is not unusual to see a line out the door no matter what day you go. I think that says it all. If you are in the mood for a good, nay great donut - you must go. $2,500-$5,000 lost today in future business. I have been to many donut shops across this great land and I have seen donut shops that are open until they sell out. That typically is code for they close shop early afternoon. I went at 9:45 AM this morning to find out for the 3rd time in the last month I was too late to buy a donut and a cup of coffee. As a new resident and someone who supports local business, seeks out local business vs the big shop retailer it just pains me to have to write this review. I spend about $10-$20 a week in donuts and coffee. Factor that over the next 2-3 years and easily this place cost themselves a lot of money today. Hard to keep a business flourishing when you constantly stick a fork in the eye of the folks who try and support you. Even folks who would defend these folks because of the donuts...other than the fact they have different flavors there really isn't anything that special about the donuts. Meaning I have had plenty that are better but in Jupiter there simply are not a lot of mom n pop donut shops (But I'm getting a great business idea). And that's what is so infuriating, the arrogance of the owners is unbridled to anything I've seen. You can't even keep the doors open to allow folks to buy a cup of coffee? They have a kitchen where they make breakfast sandwiches but as soon as the donuts are gone they lock the doors. 9:45 AM??? I'm not waiting for bridges to go up n down trying to get to this place any more. I know I am not alone, there are some other reviews complaining about it and you don't see the owners responding, that should tell you something. This place apparently has so much business that they don't need anyone that might want to get a donut past say 6-7 AM. Save your time, money, and dignity. If enough of us check in with these horrible reviews based mostly on the fact they stick it to their own customers, maybe we can start our own donut shop because there is an obvious need for a few more around here. read more

America runs on.....delicious mom & pop specialty shops. Just picked up a dozen donuts from Jupiter Donut Factory. Outstanding. This is what you should expect from a donut shop. None of those rinky-dink little air filled wisps that you get at the other guys. It's a family run shop that obviously takes great pride in what they are doing. The place has easy parking, is spotless clean and opens at 5:00 a.m. It's in the perfect location on Center Street, no traffic issues. The blueberry donuts actually taste like REAL blueberries. All the varieties are fresh and delicious. I look forward to returning and sampling their coffee and other foods. Shouldn't take long for this shop to be very popular. read more

The Donuts are VERY GOOD. The service is not so good. I got a cinnamon roll and a cup of coffee. As i was walking to the door i noticed the cup of coffee was only half filled. So, i went back and asked her to fill the coffee cup all the way. Which she did with a heavy sigh and a roll of her eyes. Not a good way to keep a customer. read more

Bought 2 dozen of these donuts for my office and they were an absolute hit! (everybody was asking where they came from so the shop needs to put their name on the box). I liked the mix of classis donuts with novetly selections like the Red Velvet donut (which was very popular) and the maple with bacon. These donuts remind me of what I used to eat as a kid in Minnesota from the local bakery and i am happy to see a place like this in Jupiter. read more

From the reviews, I expected these confections would taste somewhere north of Krispy Kreme and slightly south of Heaven. We ordered a 1/2 dozen mix of glazed, chocolate glazed, lemon filled, and pastry filled--then I got a kronut. The donuts were tasty enough, but I guess the light, fluffy wonderfulness of Krispy Kreme has ruined me for all other donuts. These were on par with Publix donuts--definitely not bad, but not worthy of the raves I've read. And the kronut? It was pretty good, but not good enough to stand in line for 5 hours like those New Yorkers did when kronuts first appeared. read more

My family and I LOVED this place for the past 5 years. However, today was such a disappointment. My family and I stopped by about 15 to 12pm. I was apparent they were busy getting ready to close as we were greeted with the irritated tone of the grill is closed but what can we get you. We went ahead and got coffee and a couple of donuts and the staff continued to clean around us making very obvious that we were putting a damper on their cleaning time. The atmosphere sucked...not welcoming and more hurry up and leave we got things to do. So we left! As we're leaving not one goodbye or thank you for stopping by from any of the three staff. Great place to get a breakfast sandwich and load up on donuts to go home... As for customer service, my husband and I sat at the counter bar top and were served with respect. The owner even came out brought us our sandwiches and spoke with us for a few minutes. Came in on a Tuesday morning looking for a fresh donut pick-me-up before work. Walked in the door around 6:30 (half an hour after opening) and was the only customer in line. From the start, the waitstaff was rude and inattentive which made the warm atmosphere suddenly feel uninviting. After selecting my maple glazed donut I thanked the cashier and tipped her a quarter on my dollar donut to which I got no response. Out in my car the donut I had expected to be fresh turned out to be cold and dry, summing up a rather unpleasant experience at the Jupiter Donut Factory. As much as I hate the lines at the Dunkin' Donuts right up the street, at least I can always count on a friendly waitstaff and a warm and satisfying donut before heading in to work. read more

If you like donuts this is the place to go. Drove down from Charleston SC and dropped in for a few donuts and coffee. As I walked in I was met with a pleasant greeting and prompt service. There was a good selection of donuts along with a selection of daily specialty donuts. There was plenty of customers getting some breakfast sandwiches and they must have been great because it didn't take them long to eat them up. This stop was the highlight of the day's motorcycle ride and made my trip from Charleston well worth it. Just wish there was one close to me. Guess there is another road trip in the future. read more

I saw all of these amazing reviews, and I love donuts, so I figure this would be a can't miss place. Maybe it was a bit over hyped, or maybe it is because I have had Donut King here in the Orlando area, but either way I was underwhelmed. Don't get me wrong, the donuts here were good, just not amazing. Personal opinion can count for some things here as well, as I am not a fan of cake donuts, and their selection to me was way too cake donut heavy. If I were in the area, I'd stop by again, but it wouldn't be something I would go out of my way to get to. read more

Best donuts in palm beach county !

I absolutely love their doughnuts and always get their Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich but today I was really disappointed in the sandwich. It was a sliver if that of Taylor Ham. I paid $6.00 for pretty much an egg sandwich. The doughnuts here are very very good, not GREAT but very good - my statement is based upon a direct comparison to The Donut King out of Clermont, Florida which in my opinion has the best doughnuts in the world and Dunkin' Donuts, which in my opinion has the absolute worst donuts in the world. They do have a very unusual selection of donuts at The Jupiter Donut Factory, I purchased six different types including the maple bar with bacon sprinkled on top and a chocolate raised - again, both were very good. The bacon on the maple bar either wasn't crispy enough to start with, or it got a bit soggy from sitting on a moist doughnut and icing, either way it was a bit chewy. The chocolate doughnut was good but the chocolate icing seemed to be lacking a strong chocolate taste, it simply wasn't to my personal liking - perhaps I've just become accustomed to, or spoiled by, the incredibly flavorful chocolate icing used at The Donut King. Bring cash...the do take credit cards but they have a $5 or $6 dollar minimum as I recall. Having said all of that, unless you're willing to drive 3 hours North to Clermont, FL. then the Jupiter Donut Factory is by far the best choice for donuts that I have as yet discovered in this area of South Florida. read more

I'll start this review by saying everything is relative. Went to JD for the first time. Relative to other doughnuts in FL, it was a 3.5 - 4/5 experience. I thought the doughnuts were ok. However, relative to the doughnuts I was used to, growing up in Chicago and its surrounding suburbs, I'd rate JD a solid 2/5. IMHO, they were ok. Certainly nothing to "write home about" to those of us that have experienced the real deal. I've had FAR better, but at least they are a step above Dunkin'. read more
