For the past few years since working from home full-time, I have been prioritizing self-care:…read moreconsistent movement, stretching, chiropractic care, sports therapy, acupuncture, facials, meditation, you name it! Unfortunately around the time I started full-time remote work, my massage spot at the time stopped taking my insurance. It has been challenging finding a provider that takes my insurance AND does not have a long waitlist.
Anyways, a few months ago, I slightly pulled my back during our move to the new apt. I decided to try Elements Massage on Holman mainly due to its convenience of being close to home. I was scheduled to see Emily, and have been seeing her since then.
What I appreciate about Emily is that she takes the time to educate you on not only the cause of pain and tension, but ways to improve your self-care at home: utilizing ice packs, stretches, salt soaks, etc. Incorporating these in my own routines has made a huge improvement in my post recovery workouts and back/neck tension.
At my last session, I was feeling so tired that I told Emily I felt like I will pass out on the table. I let Emily do her magic and she delivered giving me nice, relaxing full-body massage. It was such a great treat, and a testimony, on how much my back/neck tension has improved in few months. I enjoyed it so much that I booked a 90 min session with Emily next month.
While you can book single sessions, the membership at Elements is such a great deal. I went with the $99/month for one 60 min session which can carry over, gift to a friend, or you can pay a little extra to extend the time. Honestly, this is one of the best investments you can do for your body and I couldn't be more enthusiastic to recommend Elements Massage.
