I've been coming to Spring Foot Spa for several years now, and they have never once disappointed me. As someone who gets massages regularly, I'm usually very picky about pressure--I've dealt with therapists elsewhere who go so hard they trigger tension headaches, or others who are so light I can barely feel it. The consistency here is what really sets them apart. I've seen many different masseuses at this location, and no matter who I get, the pressure is always spot on. Clean. Thoughtful. Worth the drive. Our usual go to foot reflexology spot closed so we have been on the search for a new one and we found it. The space is big and open but still a warm and restful environment. 8 or 10 beds in an open room, relaxing music, soft throw blanket which is better than other places that only give thin towels to cover you. I am short so my legs usually hang at other places. They brought out a mini step stool to put under my foot bath which was really thoughtful. Basket to put belongings in that stays on the floor near you. I chose the Steam eye mask addition for $5 which made it more relaxing. $50 for 60 mins - foot and body (clothed). We are coming back! The place is reasonably clean and parking is pretty easy and free. Call ahead if you want to be sure they can take you or if you want the person of your choice to be available. We tried this spot out after reading reviews when our regular place didn't have any availability. The woman at the reception was attentive, great with communication and friendly - she did not try to upsell which was appreciated. Unfortunately she was also the person working on me so she got up 5 times during my session to intercept people at the front entry that were seeking walk in services. Her skill was good and she did check in on temperature of water and pressure. It felt clean, they had scented lotion which I hate, but at the price point, to be expected. In addition to the repeated interruptions to my massage, the other primary reason for the substandard rating is customer control. A woman who is likely a regular (she was greeted with a friendly "hi" and "you are early") came in without a mask , she asked for a mask, and the woman who had been working on me said she didn't have one and it was fine, so this woman sat down in the chair near me without a mask. She then proceeded to have a full on loud phone conversation (based on the content that we had no choice but to listen to this was not an important call, rather an Im bored waiting, let's phone someone call) while we tried, and failed, to enjoy the last 10 minutes of our session. These places are usually hushed tones so people can relax, so my husband and I were astounded that she felt comfortable being so rude and that the staff didn't check her. I guess you get what you pay for, but I would rather pay more and have someone who didn't get up repeatedly and an establishment that followed the mask mandates and politely redirected patrons who are out of line. read more

I come here 2x a month, often with a friend in tow. The work they do here is amazing. Grace is the best. But to be honest, no one who works here is bad or worth avoiding. The standard 1 hour Foot Massage for $30 is the absolute best value and best for me personally. I am a Type 1 Diabetic, I work full time in a kitchen, and I find Spring Foot Spa the absolute best place for my wellness and health in relation to my circulation, my health, and my feeling. This is my go to massage spot in north Seattle because it's conveniently located near my place and the ladies here give great massages. They pretty much know me by now because I speak Chinese with them when I go and I only ever request back massages. Not a fan of foot massages because I think they're painful. That being said, the full body massages can be somewhat painful too depending on how sore you are. The place is clean, there's parking and I love the heated beds! Full body massage is $60 for an hour which is more than my other favorite spot Meng's in Chinatown but I'm paying for the convenience of location up in Shoreline. read more

This place was amazing! After being disappointed the last few times with our usual place we thought we would try something new. So happy we did! Lots of easy parking, clean, super nice and a fantastic massage - foot and body. My person used some hot rocks on me towards the end and it was amazing. This place used to be amazing and so I'm very disappointed to see them go backwards. As soon as you walk in the door they pressure you into trading up into higher priced massage combos. I pushed back as I only wanted the standard foot massage, however sadly the foot massage was garbage. I often get Chinese foot massages across the world and so am familiar with the reflexology technique. The man who massaged me did NOT know how to massage and was even dangerous (massaging my vertebrae with his elbow), which I had to ask him to stop. He didn't know what he was doing, had no awareness of muscle groups and only repetitively rubbed a few areas, badly. He didn't massage my calves, i just got light oily stroking. He used so much oil that it started to get grainy and so he would spend every third stroke wiping his hands on the towel. I was very glad when it was finished and wished I stopped it midway. Waste of time and money. I paid in full but told him on the way out that he could do with some training. Sadly I'll have to find another place as this place seems to now have a very low bar. read more

I kept asking her to massage harder and she didn't. It was basically an oil caress. My partner got the foot reflexology for $30 and she applied almost no pressure. He also did not like his massage. I came here for a foot massage on Friday afternoon. There wasn't a wait and I was immediately escorted to a chair. Although it's advertised as a foot massage, for thirty dollars, you end up getting a full body massage with your clothes on. While my feet soaked in hot water, the therapist started at my head. The head massage felt fantastic, but plan on leaving with your hair messed up and slightly greasy with massage oil. From there, she worked on my shoulders, arms, and then my feet. Next she worked on my legs and thighs and just when I thought it was over, she asked me to turn onto my stomach and she proceeded to massage the back of my arms, legs, and back. The massage pressure was very strong, but not painful. My only complaint is that she stopped three times during my massage: once to talk to a person who entered the establishment and two times to another employee. Each time, it took me out of the zone; however, the massage was so good I plan to return in a few weeks. read more

Been here twice and I'm totally over paying for "real massages" at $60+/hr. Lucy is the best (though she's the only one I've been to). Strong hands for such a little lady and you can tell she is giving it 100% effort the entire time. Super soft hands that actually work your muscles. 1hr reflexology massage (which is basically like a full-body massage with a little extra emphasis on the feet) for only $30?! I'm in. They start on your head while your feet are soaking in warm water. You eventually get a complete massage (including flipping over and getting your glutes/back worked on! ha). Limited English here -- so I'm not sure how effective you'd be in articulating complex massage needs. But... $30!! :) Space is clean and quiet. Beds are SUPER comfortable and easy to doze off in. They have little bins for your jewelry so it doesn't get lost. Bathroom is clean (but awkwardly far away - shared bathroom with another unit in the building. I've never been there when there are other people getting massages (so it's amazingly quiet and serene) -- but don't be deterred! It's very clean and totally worth the money... I went twice this month :) Easy parking right out front -- though I would be sure to remove/hide all valuables in your car (since it is Aurora, after all). Definitely worth a try. Cute little place tucked away in small strip mall type of area. The inside is clean, calm, and smells good. They have about 10 chairs out in one big room and I noticed they also have several private rooms. They have recently opened and have a good promotion, buy one foot massage and get other half off. The massage is definitely good enough to take advantage of that deal. The massage was decent. I've had a lot of massages and this was not the worst, nor was it the best. It relaxed me and was a nice thing on a Friday afternoon. I recommend going there while the promo is happening. The staff seemed nice. read more

My friend and I came here on a Saturday night, around 7pm. I was surprised because I thought it would be busy. It was just the two of us in the whole place and 2 massage ladies. They started on both of us and about 10 minutes in the phone starts ringing so my lady stops massaging me to get the phone. There's some talking and then she starts messing with the cordless phone. She puts it down but has it on speakerphone. She's in the voice messages. She starts up on me again about 5 minutes later and people have walked in. She gets up AGAIN to talk to them. There is no whispering they are all taking in loud, regular voices. Two guys show up to work and prepare to take the two new people. She is now speaking to the new staff and they are all talking. It was annoying to say the least. The first 15 minutes were a bust and I was thinking, "This sucks and it's too bad bc it's so close to my house. They should check out Two Smiling Feet to see how it's done right". They could easily a) have an answering machine to take messages and then check them after service b) have a written note that says "WE ARE CURRENTLY WITH CUSTOMERS. WE WILL BE FINISHED AT __________ TIME. PLEASE PUT YOUR NAME ON THE LIST AND WE WILL TAKE YOU SHORTLY AFTER WE ARE DONE" and C) Keep your voices down. There's no one else in there you can speak in a whisper. My husband said his visit was great and that's why we came but I'd rather drive to Fremont. This place is new and it shows. read more

Went in with my blyfrwas so surprised with how good my experience was. I was warm and comfortable they change out towels and have plastic wrap over the foot baths. Massage was great. Went in for a foot massage and got everything massaged. I will be returning soon. Update: went back for a back massage and I don't know if these people are licensed. I got what I paid for. My neck and back hurts a little worse but that's common for a massage. I ended up not going to work because the pain was so bad. Drinking water hopefully the pain gets better. I got the foot reflexology special. The lady who did it was texting and calling people on her cell phone the whole time she was massaging me. She would half-heartedly rub my foot with one hand and when I looked up I saw she was texting. At one point she picked up the phone and called several people. The whole room could hear the phone ringing. She also chatted with the other workers from time to time. If you have ever been to a good reflexology spot, you know they always try to make sure it is as calm and quiet as possible, so this was really odd and inappropriate. If you are like me, you go to reflexology places to relax and feel like they are treating you well. I had a horrible, chaotic experience and I will not go back. Sadly, I have had a different experience than most of the reviewers here have had. I really had high hopes and dreams about unwinding and getting my stressed out to the max shoulders melted away, but was sadly underwhelmed by the first 5 minutes of my massage. First off, the water was scalding hot and I was forced to sink my feet into the thousand degree water. As I was trying to acclimate myself to the hottest of hot water, one of the massage peeps surprise me with this never been done move and pulls a pillow right under from me so quickly, I felt like I was going to lose my balance- sitting down. I'm not really used to fighting for my life in these situations but believe me I really tried to relax. My massage guy proceeded to massage my head and use kneading motions and I just started to get annoyed at that point. It was a downward spiral from there. No pressure, just light touching. Like I was as thin as paper and he was trying to be super careful to not crumple me. My annoyance turned to aggravation and I just asked him to stop. Literally. It was the best decision yet. I couldn't stand one more minute of delicate massaging. I mean who does that? I like it rough and I want all of my knots out. If he couldn't apply that kind of pressure it would have been a waste of both of our time. Sadly, disappointed and even more stressed than I came in. read more

Body massage/Tuina Body Rub (On massage table in private room) Do NOT come here for the full body massage if you: A.) Are uncomfortable being naked and massaged EVERYWHERE B.) Are sensitive or ticklish to massages; They will straight up press their thumbs into the knots in your back relentlessly. This massage was $60 for 1 hour and was truly a deep, deep tissue massage. And it was the most...intimate massage I've gotten. I often times will leave my bottoms on because most body massages I've gotten, they massage your bottom half over the sheets. NOT the case here! Seriously, if you are uncomfortable with having your body seen or touched, this isn't your place! When it was time to massage my lower half, she asked me to take off my pants (so I did). They actually oil up your lower half! I've never had this done before. But the real surprise was how true the term "FULL BODY" massage seemed to be. Like, seriously. Your bum is thoroughly massaged AND at times your pelvic area. I was unable to fully relax at this point simply because I was so shocked. I'm pretty sure they expect you to be 100% naked, and they're there massaging both of your legs almost spread apart with your whole bottom half exposed. Maybe this is a normal thing, but I have NEVER experienced such a personal massage before, they have always covered up with sheets, and massaged the lower half without ever touching skin. Makes me feel like this was the wrong part of 99 to get a massage. Despite this abnormality, this massage was AMAZING. The only reason I felt remotely comfortable was because it was a lady massage therapist. She spoke little English but WOW, my back felt awesome. They literally are ON the massage table sitting over you to get better pressure on your back. And working knots out with their fingers (This is why ticklish people or those who cannot relax might have trouble keeping still!) Specifically the back portion of my massage felt so good it made me want to melt. It was just what I needed. I would totally come here again, but I would probably specify just a back massage. This isn't your traditional massage, but definitely felt great. Pressure wasn't too light, hard enough to work out knots. My only complaint would be it does come off as a little "sketchy".. I walked in and the door has a loud jingle but no one came to greet me. I walked over to the massage area then was taken to me private room. And there is a lack of English as well. My massage therapist left the room without saying a word and I had thought the massage was finished. I began to get dressed but then she walked in and said we aren't done, LOL! She had gone to get a warm towel. Overall felt good. Just be prepared for a very exposed experience. read more

I'm pretty much annoyed! I stopped by here to get a massage just now and walked in and the lady working at the front desk pulls out a piece of paper that says..."Please wait 30 minutes". Then she writes down on another piece of paper..."12:30". I asked her..." I should come back at 12:30?". She says yes. I said ok I'll just wait in my car right outside until 12:30 and point to my car. She says ok. I wait in my car for 30 minutes and then go inside. Another lady comes to the front and says immediately "30 minutes". Um, wait what?!? I already waited 30 minutes like the first lady told me too! i come here about once or twice a month for a foot massage. Its always very relaxing and how can you beat $25??! Thats a great deal for an hour long massage thats more than just your feet in the end. I always leave feeling refreshed (especially because sometimes I fall asleep lol) And my favorite part is the long hours they have. A traditional Chinese massage (as far as i can surmise) that involves more involvement with ones body, as others have noted, this is not timid nor modesty-preserving.
