This place is probably one of the most photo-worthy places to eat in Greenville. I'm talking GORGEOUS. The entire inside is basically covered in flowers hanging from the ceiling, and if you go at the right time, the natural light coming through the greenhouse-like area is absolutely beautiful. Then as it gets darker, the lighting becomes super moody and romantic. It's just such a VIBE. They also have a flower wall right at the entrance that is perfect for pictures. I went here for my birthday this year and took approximately a million pictures. I think the staff may have started getting a little annoyed after we stood there for 30 minutes taking photos, but we weren't in anyone's way, so I'm counting it as fine. The service was also amazing. Our server was super friendly, and once they found out it was my birthday, they offered me a complimentary dessert of my choice. I picked the chocolate cake, but unfortunately, nobody at the table was really a fan. It was VERY rich and had a really strong flavor, so I personally wouldn't order that again. For dinner and ordered the salmon, which was delicious. I ate pretty much the entire thing! There were definitely mixed reviews on the food at our table, though. I wouldn't necessarily say this is a place where the food is going to knock your socks off or make you say, "OH MY GOD, you have to try this." But if you're looking for an amazing atmosphere, gorgeous photos, great service, good drinks, and an overall fun night out, this is absolutely the place. I decided to give this place a second chance because everyone always raves about their brunch, and I have to say--stick to brunch! The brunch portions were generous (unlike the dinner portions), and the food was actually really good. The brunch drinks were amazing as well. We also loved the beautiful spring decorations throughout the restaurant. Unfortunately, service still needs some improvement. We had the same server as our previous visit, and he wasn't very attentive. We had to repeatedly remind him about things, and when it was time for food delivery, he couldn't remember who ordered what. Ironically, the staff member bringing out the food did a much better job making sure everyone received the correct meal. One thing that was disappointing was being charged the automatic 20% gratuity for a large party, even though our group only consisted of five people, not six. Overall, there are still some areas that need work, and the elevator was out of order during this visit. We stopped in for a round on a busy Friday evening and were able to find bar seats for our large group and also great drinks & service. I ordered an off menu old-fashioned, which was made perfectly and my friends also enjoyed the signature cocktails that they ordered. One needed a small bite of food, and asked the bartender for olives--she asked if he wanted blue cheese or regular to his surprise, and provided as many as he could eat. There were a few things that could have been better, like the asparagus side which is tasty but you can definitely do better at home. I was really excited to try Juniper and had been looking forward to it during my stay. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. When I arrived, I noticed someone finishing up at the bar and offered to wait for the seat, but the hostess turned me away rather abruptly. Instead, I was directed to try the speakeasy, which turned into a bit of a goose chase trying to find it. As a guest staying at the hotel, I would have appreciated being treated with the same kindness and respect that I approached the interaction with. I had high hopes for Juniper, but the welcome set a tone that made the experience feel far less hospitable than expected. Absolutely flawless dining experience from start to finish. Beautiful restaurant with great decor and view of Greenville. Laura took wonderful care of us. A glass of wine and some good bourbon started the evening, then we opened with the Ahi Tuna Tartare appetizer. Perfect. Woke up our tastebuds without overwhelming us or filling us up too soon. Laurie had the Herb Crusted Salmon and I had the Coconut Crusted Snapper (probably have the official menu names wrong,lol). Both were outstanding. Very tasty, beautifully presented, and nice portions. For dessert she has the Strawberry Mousse Parfait and I had the Dark Chocolate offering with salted caramel ice cream. Positives first: We came on a Friday evening with no reservations and were lucky to snag one of the few open tables. The hostess was kind and our waitress was phenomenal. We tried a mocktail and a drink from the bar and both were delicious. The 24 oz ribeye was cooked perfectly but needed a bit of salt. Not so positives: the food, besides the ribeye, was truly mediocre. The sourdough focaccia came as large bricks of dry dough that lacked any distinguishing flavor. The sourdough croutons in the caesar salad were nearly rock solid. The octopus was overcooked and the tail end was burnt and rubbery. The side of broccolini was the saddest thing I've ever seen with five or six shriveled up bits of green. Overall: I'd come here for a drink with a friend but wouldn't stay for dinner. read more

Rooftop restaurant at the Marriott hotel right in downtown Greenville, this charming location has some of the most unique decor I have seen in a restaurant in a long time. No matter where you sit in the restaurant it very much seemslike you are attending a posh garden party. The staff is friendly and efficient. We spent Easter brunch there and while the ambience was on point, the food was only average. Part of the problem with buffets is that nothing ever stays hot but in this instance, it wasn't even lukewarm. But the omelette station was good, the cheese blitzes were tasty, and what we lacked in a wow factor with food we made up for by enjoying the overall atmosphere. We brought my in-laws here and they were obsessed with the ambiance. The place is completely decked out in what I would describe as a magical land. They change decor seasonly and it is worth checking out each decoration change. Winter is truly a wonderland and summer is truly a haven for an Italian retreat. I didn't take pictures of the appetizers we shared but we tried the focaccia which was amazing (must get) and the ahi tuna tartar, which was yummy but was not served with any chips or anything. That was odd to me as I have never eaten tartare with a fork. Thankfully we had the focaccia which we ended up using. We initially went so my in-laws could experience their amazing lemon cheesecake dessert, but I did not realize their menu changes seasonly, so we opted for the pistachio dessert instead. It was also incredibly delicious but the lemon cheesecake was SO neat. It looked like a real lemon, you can probably find it in a previous review I left. I totally get changing your menu seasonly but certain iconic menu items should stay the same (like that one)! Overall this place is a must see for the decor and vibe alone. It's truly a gem. It's a rooftop bar/restaurant in camperdown plaza with indoor and outdoor seating. They have heating elements for outdoors. Our server was great. I highly recommend making reservations. read more

Amazing atmosphere and has to be the best location in Greenville. Such a cool theme and beautiful view. Started off with their potato waffle bites. Definitely a new take on a waffle. With the lack of seasoning it was a complete shock to us on our first bite. Now the presentation was excellent but the flavor wasn't there. We both had the classic breakfast (eggs, bacon, house potatoes and a biscuit. The biscuit and bacon were good. It's hard to find somewhere that can bake biscuits correctly and they did. However, the eggs and house potatoes were unfortunately the worst we've ever had. Absolutely zero seasoning and completely bland. We're huge foodies and love trying new places. But highly unlikely we'll come back. We cook all the time and only use organic eggs from local people. You can easily tell these are the run of the mill mass produced eggs. They're listed as cage free eggs on the menu. But they're far from organic real eggs. Server was pleasant but seemed exhausted as service was a bit slow. Not just for us. The table beside us was forgotten about and they sat there for at least 15 minutes before a drink order was placed. The hostess was not friendly and a bit snooty. This place has a bunch to improve on but we both could see it being one of the best places in Greenville. read more

Im going to give this a three based on looks. The atmosphere is gorgeous. Looking for a place to hang out, talk. Romantic evening of drinks maybe dessert and just some peaceful area to breath. This is it. It's very calming and cool in this place. As soon as I walked in it was like walking into a whole different world. The staff seemed very friends. Our waitress seemed a little ran out of energy I wanted to hug her but overall very attentive. The bread was really good. As well as the oil. The chicken for me was lacking, dry, very little flavor as a plate collectively which was disappointing because the presentation was on point. With so many truly extraordinary dining options in Greenville, I cannot understand why anyone would choose to spend their money here. We visited on 11/22/25 and were "greeted" by two obnoxious and unprofessional young women who rudely asked whether we had a reservation. We did not--but we were perfectly willing to wait the estimated hour. We fully expected a wait when we arrived. What we did not expect was the attitude. Their dismissive, unwelcoming behavior was such an immediate turnoff that we decided to leave, as did the couple behind us. Wanted to absolutely love this place. It has amazing ambience and the live singer who walks around the restaurant was awesome. Our waiter was attentive and the food and drinks although pretty darn pricey were delicious. We were so excited to be there - immediately started with pics as soon as the elevator opened. We had a reservation and one of our friends was already inside waiting for us. We walked up to the hostess and an extremely rude woman ( supposedly security) per our waiter when asked once inside immediately started to speak to us quite harshly. She would not allow us to go to our table - apparently the rule is you need to be walked to your table - fine but no need to be Rude. She continued to speak so sarcastically to all of us which was killing our vibe. It got so bad several girls in our group wanted to leave. There was a party of 3 beside us and ended up outside close to where we were sitting. It was quite chilly but we had a nice fire pit to warm us up. After about 20 min or so the 3 ladies we walked in with got up to leave. I had to know why- they were told they could not have a fire pit bc their wasn't enough people in their group. Ridiculous- so those 3 woman walked out. Hopefully if you decide to give this place a try you will not be faced with the Rude woman in the front !!! I wish my experience had been more positive, but sadly it wasn't. My wife, friends, and I made a reservation a week in advance for 7:45 p.m., as that was the earliest available time. We thought it would be perfect to avoid traffic and enjoy the sunset. The restaurant itself is beautiful, but we were seated outside in the farthest corner on a small balcony table which was extremely hot and humid. Poor view of the scenery and my wife is pregnant, so sitting outside in the heat made it more uncomfortable for her. It was also hard to talk when it was extremely loud from people talking and music. We politely asked if we could move inside, but our server responded rudely, saying it would be a two-hour wait. (Ironically, when we left, the indoor dining area was basically empty). Anyways...It took about 20 minutes just to place our order. The table seemed designed for drinks rather than dinner, you couldn't comfortably eat something like a steak without practically balancing the plate on your lap. Since none of us drink, sitting at what appeared to be a cocktail table wasn't the dining experience we had expected. While they tasted good, the portions were tiny and overpriced (not enough for one person yet alone 4 adults). Our server later offered one complimentary dessert for the table as an apology, which we appreciated, but we were hungry and annoyed. After waiting an hour, we assumed we needed to pay at the front, we got up to leave, only for her to rush over mid way and tell us we had to pay through her. Before processing the payment, she made a comment about the complimentary dessert that came across as though we should feel obligated to leave a larger tip because of the $13 dessert. Overall, if you're looking for a relaxing sit-down dinner with great service and food that matches the price, I would recommend spending your money elsewhere. He was attentive but not over bearing and was super helpful with recommending drinks to my mom and I. I would give him 10 stars if I could- y'all need to give him a raise! I also have to comment on the atmosphere and ambiance- the design concepts in this restaurant are well thought out and engaging. It was a lovely immersive experience. Now on to the food- it was meh. I could've made the bolognese so much better in my own kitchen- the sauce was watery and unimpressive. The mussels were tasty but the chunks of ground meat in it were odd. The squash was nice and had a surprising curry/ turmeric flavor- but the mozzarella cheese on top threw me off.
