    Dessert!

Awesome food and the best service. If you're in Dublin, Juniors is a must stop. The daily specials are always fantastic and the main menu has plenty of great choices. One of my favorite restaurants in town!!

they served the best sambo i ever had in town. They also had different deal for lunch like sandwich + salad + half soup (11e) which I highly recommend. The place could be also really packed during lunch time! But super stuff!

I always hear people say such good things about this place, but both times I've been here I haven't been overly impressed. I was here most recently with a large group of friends. We had made a reservation, but were told the table wouldn't be ready for about 20 minutes; but that was fine, and we just grabbed a drink next door. We were sat and orders taken. I decided to start with the soup of the day, which was tomato and pumpkin, then went with the ribeye for my entree. The soup was SO big and came with so much bread that I almost could've eaten JUST that for dinner. The soup was tasty, but was molten hot. It took ages to finish between allowing it enough time to cool and being such a large portion The ribeye came out, and it was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. The food here is good, but not great; and this is not reflected in the prices in their dinner menu. In my opinion, if your cheapest entree is going to be essentially €20, then the food better be pretty damn good. Probably won't come back here again in the future.

Clam linguine with chili, garlic, parsley and olive oil

I came here with the hubby on our most recent trip to Dublin after reading reviews from Yelpers. The food was absolutely amazing, and we left full and happy! Appys We ordered 2 starters - the soup of the day (seasonal vegetable soup when we went) and the olives with sourdough toast. As simple as they sound, both were really good. The soup was a very large bowl filled with a hearty amount of fresh seasonal vegetables, and the flavor and seasoning were great. For the other plate, each of the olives were really big, and the sourdough was a toasted, buttery goodness! Main course For our main dishes, I ordered the clam linguine and he ordered the rib eye with mash and green beans. Both - DIVINE. I really loved the clam linguine. The garlic, white wine and other flavors were just so perfectly combined together, and the noodles were so chewy and good, and the clams were so fresh. Everything about this dish was just awesome. The rib eye was hearty and flavorful as well. We looked around and everyone seemed to be enjoying what they ordered. Staff and Ambiance The staff was super friendly and very helpful. There is only 1 chef there, so if you go, expect to spend some time there - not a place for a quick dinner. But the ambiance inside the restaurant is very cozy with dim lighting and fun music, so it was overall a really great experience. Definitely highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back!

I really wanted to love Juniors but after our dinner there last weekend, I won't be rushing back. I had the mussels to start and the ling (think cod's cousin) with vegetables as my main. J had the pint o' prawns to start and the gnocchi as his main. While the service was excellent, my dishes were just okay. In addition, my fish was served over a bed of veggies with pine nuts mixed throughout. This "minor detail" was not mentioned anywhere in the food description and I'm allergic to pine nuts. I moved my fish to a side plate and asked the waiter if they could arrange for veggies without nuts but by the time it was brought out I was finished with my fish. I've heard amazing things about their sandwiches so next time I think I'll stick to lunch.

Good atmosphere, good food, okay location, okay prices. Overall I'd probably give this place 4.5 stars. It's a little cramped on the inside and there aren't a lot of tables. But it is still worth it for the very good food. I ordered bangers and mash, which was quite tasty (although it didn't blow me out of the water like Gruel's bangers and mash). For dessert, I got the chocolate cake, which was not too heavy but definitely could've been sweeter. As a huge chocolate cake fan, I was a little disappointed in it. Overall a pretty tasty restaurant. I can see why its popular.

I have been going to Juniors for lunch year in, year out. But with so many additional lunch spots in the area my visits have become less and less. Shame on me, because I do love their massive sambo's, big bowls of soup and original mixed salads. Also, service has gotten a lot faster since they do table service now - rather than queueing for ages to order/ pay. On a weekday, definitely come at 12 on the dot, if you want a seat. Otherwise you might be waiting a long time. On today's visit I went for the Coronation chicken (€6.75), I think it's the newest sambo added to the menu, as I hadn't seen it before. What came to the table, was a monster of sambo (see photo). It was the same size as a small (or big? ) baby. I don't know how I did it, but I polished it all off. Every.single. breadcrumb. GONE. yum!

I came here on a lazy Sunday morning brunch with some friends and had a great time. Really prompt service too. I got myself "The Mexican" which is basically eggs with a spicy Mexican sauce, guac, and sour cream. I thought it was really good although a bit too greasy. I also ordered some orange juice and coffee and they were both very good. My friend got crab cakes and a Mississippi Mud Pie (pictured here) and judging by his clean plate, I would guess he enjoyed his meal too.

I had a great dinner in Juniors recently and I can understand why people see it as a new up and coming 'it place.' It seems to be doing really well lately and I think this is a mix of good reviews in the media as well as word of mouth. This is a great place for steak and the desserts are top notch. Next time I go, I'm definitely trying the homemade marshmallows with hot chocolate sauce. I've never seen that on a menu before and think it's very cool. Who doesn't like marshmallows? Mmmm. Only thing is that they don't take reservations, which is a pet peeve of mine. But after having a drink in Slattery's next door, I came to the conclusion after the meal that it was well worth the wait.

Anti Pasti Platter Starter! One of the specials tonight...amazing pesto!

Having worked around the corner from Juniors for months, I was shocked that I'd never popped in before, or heard my colleagues talking about it! I'd seen all of the yelp hype so went in on Thursday to scope the place out! First of all, did anyone else notice how the waiters are unreal Craic? Literally joking and having the banter with us all night (thumbs to to the hiring manager)! Another thing I love here is the cosy, Intimate atmosphere! The restaurant is quite small, so we sat out in the covered terrace. We even had blankets to wrap around us while we ate which was incredibly cute (not that we needed them, there must be some outdoor heating going on!) As for the food, it was as good as I expected! Our starter was the special: antipasti platter with bread! The bread was amazing, like seriously crusty and chargrilled tasting, and the cold meats were good too. You can't go wrong with an old antipasti can you though? I'm a fish lover so I opted for the hake with mussels for my main, while my other half went for the stew. My fish was cooked to perfection and came with spuds and a lovely thin sauce. There is nothing worse than a piece of fish that is downed in a thick sauce. That doesn't fly with me! The only thing that disappointed me here was the dessert. We went for the chocolate peanutbutter cake. I mean, it was good, but it LOOKED like it was going to taste better. It was a little too sweet for me but the fellah enjoyed it none the less! I will defiantly be coming back here to try more of the starters and mains though! Well done Juniors, 4 stars for you!

Juniors is my friend's favourite restaurant and now that I've tried it myself I can see why. It has a nice, relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere with friendly and welcoming staff. The food is absolutely amazing and pretty inexpensive for Ballsbridge as well. I had the Rigatoni Bolognese, which was excellent and the NY cheesecake for dessert, which was amazing as well. My friend is vegetarian and they had a pretty good selection of dishes for him, which is pretty good for a small restaurant. All in all it came to less than 25 Euro per head. We were also told by the waiter, that the menu changes depending on season and availability of vegetables and meats. Five stars all around.

I gave them 4 stars because I only tried the starters I had the pint of shrimps with homemade mayo and the mozzarella bruschetta Shared it with my sister Next time I will go there with an empty stomach so I could try their mains Lovely staff and the environment is vet cozy On a windy cold day the give you blankets and body warmers

A friend of mine claimed he had a craving for junior's. I had never been before so we decided to wonder in for Saturday brunch. Unfortunately the place was full, but the staff were lovely and took our number and offered to call us when the first table became available - which they did 15 minutes later. Seated on the overly Christmas decorated terrace we both ordered steak sandwiches. I was pleasantly impressed with how well cooked it was. After the main I asked for a recommendation for desert: I was told the cheesecake would be a great choice and it was!

The most delicious falafel rap Dublin has to offer! I would highly recommend it.

This might be one of my favorite meals of all my travels. We were immediately seated and taken care of in a small cove. It was very secluded and quiet for a nice date night. The service was on top of it, someone at the table every few minutes. It's definitely an experience. They have some phenomenal wine options by the glass or bottle. We started with the avocado ponzu which omg really set the stage, it had perfect flavors. My fiancé got the duck, which was so tender and flavorful and the pepper sauce (mousse?) was to die for. I got the potato dumplings on the vegetarian menu and they had chunks of perfectly cooked morels! The sauce and the flavors were so delicately paired and showed the no brainer of why this spot is recognized my Michelin. We also got the side of carrots and the aroncini, both super tasty. It was a wonderful meal, definitely an experience. I was impressed with the prices, I expected much more expensive for a place of this type, but it's very fair and makes it attainable for almost anyone to splurge on a delicious meal. 1000000/10 probably one of the best restaurants I've eaten at, highly recommend.

The gentleman who greeted me was pleasant and took my coat and offered to take my bag as well. I was escorted to the second room where multiple individuals were there to greet me. They recommended a berry vodka martini to start. It was sweet but not overpowering. I was given an appetizer of the tartare which was beautiful and delicious. For dinner I ordered the halibut with broccoli as a side. I would have sworn the halibut was cooked sous vide (don't know if that's how it was but it was amazingly soft and delicate). I could have ate the broccoli as a full meal it was amazing. The team here would come and check on me and have casual conversations with me. They were engaged and I enjoyed the conversations. For dessert I chose the crème brûlée. This was probably the best brûlée I can remember ever having. As most places in Europe there was no rush and I enjoyed my experience peacefully. Everyone thanked me for coming and the gentleman at front recalled the rest of my time here and conversed a bit before leaving. I loved this place and absolutely will recommend making a reservation here.

Just over the Sean O'Casey bridge and right in the heart of uber-sleek IFSC shopping district, this is the kind of restaurant I wouldn't mind making a habit of. Our table was in the rooms under the main restaurant, enjoying a full view of the massive wine vault (glass fronted for maximum drooling) and stand-and-your-there bar access. The restaurant was buzzing that night but we could have been the only table there. The staff were, as to be expected, experienced professionals - suggesting wine / food combinations with practised calm. After a starter of oysters I opted for steak (done rare, pinking my mash so deliciously) and a good glass of red. If my little notebook could fit in my fashionably slim clutch, I could report on the name and pedigree of the selection. Suffice to say, it was tasty! Finishing off with espressos and a chocolate marquis, we raised our glasses, toasted the evening and wondered how to finagle another visit.
