This place is really great for kids less than 8. They have a lot of climbing options, but very little staff supervision. Although that's not a bad thing. We were there for two hours and at least during the majority of the time a grown man was playing in the jungle with his kid and worked up a gross sweaty soak and wet T Shirt. When I discussed this with the blond headed manager he said oh we encourage that? Really? I told him we won't be back and thought it was creepy. This place has such potential with all of the space they have.. Unfortunately, it's VERY dated inside and needs a face lift badly. You can tell the owners have been on "auto-pilot" for at least 15 years. Furniture is old, ripped and stained. Cobwebs in most corners. The worst part, in my personal opinion, is the terrible music. The play area for the youngest kids leaves much to be desired, but the area that includes the stairs and slides are pretty neat. This was my first time visiting Jungle Java. I was babysitting my friend's 5 year old daughter. I had no idea what to expect and really don't have anything to compare it to. She seemed to enjoy herself but it was short lived. We were only there 30 mins before she was ready to go. $10 for one child isn't bad if they spend some time. But taking more than one child would be costly. I didn't go in the play structures but the kids seemed to be having fun. I can only imagine all the germs though. There is food available and I saw someone who had a large pretzel so I checked out the price. $3.50 - really!!! Way too much. I really didn't pay attention to the other prices. We've been here multiple times over the years and this place is always a go to to meet friends with kids. It provides for a safe atmosphere for the littles to enjoy while you can relax or join them in the play structure. Most of the play structure is in good shape- however some spots are showing their wear, but the integrity of it is solid. I will say the little play area for the extra little littles was being over run with big kids, as little ones were trying to play and that was one of the big negatives. I took my 8 month old and it was pretty nice though the infant/toddler area isn't that big it's still something the bigger play area is kinda worn down some floors coming up but other than that it's a fun place! Took son here on yesterday for an evening diversion. Was $10 to get him in (I was free). We used the women's restroom because my son didn't want to go potty alone. Facilities were clean. Son took off to play (bring your own socks or they will make you buy a pair) and had an absolute blast, drenched in sweat. Sat too close to the men's bathroom, and could smell the urinals. Got a peanut butter and jelly (grape) sandwich with milk and chips for kiddo, and I got a turkey and provolone on pretzel roll for me. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was about $10 for our food, so for a total of about $20 my son and I had a pretty good time. Free WiFi as well! I would rate this place higher, but the urinal smell was prevalent throughout the facility and smelling urine the whole time was a mood killer for me. This place needs a deep cleaning and it was the same a few months ago. I see a lot of people talk about that in which I shared photos too. The boards the kids walk on some are not stable and move or the wood is exposed because the material is SO ripped. It's an allergy kids worst nightmare with the amount of dust they could easily clean around here. Pros: It's only $8 to get in and they do have a small play area for kids 3 and under. They do have a larger menu then most play places. There is a lot of slides and places to play which is nice. They do host birthday parties here but I would be embarrassed how dirty it is to have one here. read more

It's amazing here! Safe, clean and FUN! Staff is kind, accommodating and understanding. Food was good as well. Got the Chicken ranch wrap . My wife had the ceaser wrap. Kids had the grilled cheese and Mac. The Mac was not kraft, which is the only kind my picky child eats. The staff had no issues with it and exchanged it for a hot dog. First time to any sort of play area like this since... I went to kid's kingdom or caesarland... back in the 90's... but hey that's beside the point. So when you go with a kid, be sure to wear deodorant.. because I did not expect the kind of work out I got from trying to follow my toddler!!!! It is not as easy as you think! Brandon is not two yet, so he was $4 to get in. Once children are older than two they will be $10 to get in. Adults are free. My son had such a great time and the kids who go there seem to know to watch out for the smaller tots who were brave enough to venture to the big kid grounds. Well some of them. We finally made it to Jungle Java yesterday! From the outside, you can't see the kids' play areas, but they're in there. There's a small toddler area for kids under two or three years old, but our daughter (18-months-old) got bored with that pretty quick. She was climbing over the wall to get out in no time! The bigger kids' area is awesome. Unfortunately our daughter was too little to navigate much of it herself, so hubby and I spent a large portion of time on our knees following her through the climbing structure. It was all about getting to the big slide! We had a better time when we first got there than later on, as after 5:30 or so some parents showed up who didn't care to watch their kids. I'm thinking middle of the day we may be able to run a little more freely without getting ploughed down by bigger kids ;) As an afterthought, I was surprised at the lack of 'security.' No one was at the desk when we left with our daughter. There is no way to account for which parent(s) brought which child(ren). read more

The owners have really stepped it up in order to reopen, replacing and updating some equipment since closures last year, and I really can see and feel their attention to detail and care; the employees on site are friendly and helpful, too. Check-in is a breeze, it's never felt too crowded (we tend to be there sometime between 10a-3p, usually, so we miss the after school/slightly older kids, probably), the play spaces and eating areas are kept very clean, and the snacks are top notch! My kids always get a cookie treat and I a pretzel, and I just tried the black bean burrito last week and it was SO TASTY. Prices for food and drinks are on par with what I'd expect for indoor play areas as well. We purchased a 3-mo membership and are excited to spend some more rainy days here this Spring! We are so happy they've been able to reopen and be there for the community - we are happy to support them in return! read more

The name speaks for itself. It is a place where kids roam freely in a mini jungle play place. If you are a parent that can't tune out the noise of 50+ screaming/crying kids then skip this place or bring ear plugs. The interior is nice, but the staff doesn't clean up regularly when people leave so the table are nasty. Pros: $7 per kid to play all day. Kids will play ALL day on this play place as we've spent 4 hrs+ here. Free wi-fi makes the place a good spot for parents to work or surf the web for free. Coffee, lattes, and smoothies are sold here Cons: Cleanliness is lacking Kids are supposed to wear socks, but I've seen 4 different barefoot kids roaming the "jungle" LOUD- But what can you expect with 50+ toddlers and 5-10 years in one place. Pricey food/drinks Too many parents tune out their own smaller kids and don't supervise them or give rules to playing. Imagine four 3 year olds screaming bloody murder to the top of their lungs for no reason. Overall if this was in your backyard it's a cool spot to take your kids and get a mini break or get some homework/work done. There is only one way in/out, so you don't have to worry about a child getting away. I can't get with the dirty tables though as we sat down to a mess. I hope that they sanitize the play place daily with all these kids here, but I doubt it. Decided to have my son's 5th birthday party here and here is the conclusion: Nice place, gave enough seating for the kids (but not for the adults), have area for 3 and under and then it's the big maze for the kids. Nice thing about it is that the parents can also go in the maze to keep a watchful eye on the kids. Decent food options (wraps, salads, coffee sop and smoothie shop style items for adults) and also them offering chicken tenders, hot dog, PB&J, and mini pancakes for the kids, which is a nice change of pace from the usual pizza and fries. They also offer ice cream cakes here and the hostess are pretty good. More importantly, all of this is for a good price, probably one of the 5 cheapest places to have a kids birthday party at in the area. Thrilled to have this so near our home. For only $8, our boy can play all day, getting endless exercise in a fantastic jungle gym. I would have LOVED this as a child. Meanwhile, I can work for hours, with tables everywhere to choose from, knowing that he is secure and happy. The place is clean, smells fresh and is well designed with spaces for big kids and little toddlers to avoid collisions. My latte was delicious and the menu is pretty impressive. It's super loud and full of energy- as expected. It's just what we need as a family with two business owners and an active child. We get plenty of computer work done and he makes friends while running non-stop for hours. Win-win for sure! read more

At first I was happy to give my child a place to run around. However, I was disappointed overall. The place wasnt clean. Tables left dirty and no where to sit. Families were sitting at tables marked "do not sit" and so many people not wearing masks. The kids playing I understand, but adults walking around, sitting on couches and at tables did not have masks on (and they were not eating). I thought it was crazy to have just one employee working the entire place, including the food counter. Why trust a review from a woman with no children? Just listen. While back home for the holidays, I met up with a few friends who do have little ones (toddlers) and we met up here. I thought, 'What a great idea! A place for kids to run around and get tired so they'll nap* AND a place where adults can get a cup of coffee!' There's a separate fenced in/cordoned off area for toddlers, complete with a small slide and other things to climb on, and a gigantic multi-level play area/jungle gym for the older kids. The noise level can be kind of deafening if you're not used to it, but it worth it to be able to run around with the wee ones and act silly for a little while. Lots of places for parents to sit and there are even a couple comfy couches to settle into. And yes, they have free wi-fi here. I didn't have any food (just java), but they have adult and kid-friendly options (hot pretzels, mac n cheese, hot dogs, sandwiches) and some sweets for adults. There are a few coffee varieties in thermoses and you can even get a cappuccino, espresso or other specialty coffee drinks. Even though I left with a ringing in my ears from the cacophonous din, it was wonderful to catch up with old friends and see the smiles on their kids' faces as we ran around and acted like goofballs. *Napping afterward not guaranteed. This place is FILTHY! I was greeted with a thick stench of sweaty socks and general filth when I entered the building. There were only about 2 other families there so I paid my $3 and went inside but upon sitting down at one of the tables and noticing that it was sticky, the chair was dirty, the carpet was absolutely filthy and the play area for my 16 month old looked as though none of the structures had seen a Clorox wipe EVER...I turned around and left. I will never be back unless I want my kid to die from some contagious disease. They need to shut this place down and power wash it, top to bottom! read more

A headache could never feel as sweet as this ever again! I adore Jungle Java! I am off work for 3 days in a row...yesterday I was battling the 4-5 inches of snow with a shovel and then playing ridiculously in the "mountains" I had created in the yard. Today I was looking for something inside to do... something a little more up my alley. Jungle Java it is!! Although coming here on a mid-saturday afternoon probably isn't the calmest time to come, I think part of the whole 'exhaustion process' includes stimulation and interaction from other kids. There was no lack of other children. Birthday parties were in one corner, parents were on the couches with their laptops taking advantage of the WiFi, and kids were everywhere. Adults are free. under 12 mos are free. 13-23 mos are only $3.00 (score!) 2yr-17yr are $6.50. At first I made him warm up in the toddler area. Sure, some parents let their kids run crazy, don't watch them laying at the bottom of the slide, and don't enforce 'waiting their turn'. You can't always protect them from getting hurt, but thankfully, the carpet is extra padded, foamy if you will. The jungle area was great! He had so much fun climbing the rope net, up and down the maze areas, and I even found myself climbing through the small areas with him, just to hold hands to bump down the big slides together! Everything seemed very clean, so big ups for that, especially in the cold and flu season (people, just wash your hands!) I ordered a 'Pure Heaven Mocha'- white chocolate, hazelnut, cherry and vanilla. It was delish!! They seemed to have a vast array of different mochas on their menu. No outside food whatsoever, no exceptions. My one and only complaint: no lockers. They have hooks for coats, and since you take your shoes off (socks are required and are for sale juuuust incase!) they have numbered plastic bins for the kids' belongings. Unfortunately, I am a single mom who just so happens to do things with her lil sidekick on a whim, without anyone else, and didn't feel safe just leaving my purse sitting around so I could go full-on play. To begin, I don't have children, which is our choice. If I ever think about having them, I'll come here. The atmosphere is very loud. Screaming, crying, yelling, children pushing each other around (one kid gave my friend's son a bloody nose). The employees really aren't involved with the kids, they mainly stay up front and fetch coffee orders for worn out parents. The food is very expensive, I'd recommend waiting and just going to McDonald's. No outside food is permitted. May as well, as they really only have overpriced snacks. I'm fairly new to this parental safari and so I thought I would do a little exploration into Jungle Java with my toddler. In case you're not familiar, Jungle Java is an indoor play place for kids and coffee shop for parents. This sounded like a perfect oasis for a Sunday afternoon but ended up being more like an exercise in Nam. The place was pretty clean and setup so it was easy to navigate. We were promptly greeted and got my son signed in. The place wasn't super busy, but I'd guess there were about 10-15 adults and about 20-25 kids around. Since my son was raring to go, my wife took him to the toddler area (he's just a bit over 1 but has been walking since 9 months) and I stepped up to get us some coffee. This is where the experience went slightly downhill. Overall, the coffee was mediocre as it tasted too strong of flavored syrups and for some reason took almost 15 minutes to get (2 iced lattes). This wasn't the biggest issue, though, as we weren't really expecting Starbucks or Biggby coffee. Our main problem was the setup for the toddler area. Jungle Java is setup so that one area is for toddlers 3 and under and then the other area is for older kids with much bigger and more involved climbing contraptions. The only thing that separated them? A 1.5 foot tall gymnastics mat-like bumper. This meant that older kids, as Stephanie F. put it, would come whipping through the area just about mowing down the little kids. Now I will say that it isn't Jungle Java's fault the parents of the older children decided to ignore parenting their children so they could surf the Internet and sip their coffee, but the setup is horrible and when we brought it to the attention of an employee, she couldn't have cared less. I suggest that the owners of Jungle Java make one of the following changes and it would have changed the entire experience. First, instead of having a small little bumper separating the areas, put in a short half door with a handle on the inside. This would kid the older kids out of the toddler area and keep the toddlers in. Second, have an employee actually monitor the "gateway" and turn away older children. Two simple solutions that would have had us coming back really soon as my son did enjoy his time there when not dodging bigger kids. All-in-all, if you have older children and low expectations on coffee quality, this is a good place to bring the kids to let them burn off some steam. Until they make some changes, though, forget coming here with toddlers. read more

It's a cute concept: coffee for adults, play structure for kids but the owners ruin it. The place is gross: dirty tables, dirty floors, dirty rusty bathrooms, and to tie it all together, lazy ass staff. The staff couldn't give 2 shits about the place! Often times no one is at the counter when people want to order their gross ass food, clearly no one cleans up around the place, the tables have crumbs and sticky shit everywhere, and I've seen employees in the back eating all the food while customers are waiting for their food or waiting to get in or place and order!! The owners are rude and are willing to sell old, gross, and overall bad product just so they don't lose 10 cents. The food itself is not good quality in the slightest and its wayyy overpriced. It takes forever for them to make and I know someone who got chicken tenders that looked years old! So gross. The salads are hilarious! Costs way too much for a poor excuse for a salad. Most all the other foods are just microwaveable shit. They have a wide variety of coffees (which are all gross) and they take forever to make them! Parents just go there to ignore their kids for a while so they can go on the internet while their kids are pushing and shoving younger kids while the staff does nothing about it. The play structures, which they claim to clean daily (IMPOSSIBLE!!) I know for a fact they don't, are big plastic diseases! Kids always leave there with some sort of sickness or actually throw up at the place. All in all it's super noisy, bad food, dirty, smells bad, rusty bathrooms, lazy staff, and horrible owners.
