The salmon looked appetizing and the small nibble I took was also very tasty. So food good but unfortunately the service was not. From the pictures seen on Yelp you would think they have indoor seating which actually they don't, only outside and on a mid day South Florida day it not too pleasant, maybe place a freestanding fan? But back to the main unfortunate complaint and reason for the poor rating. I went inside with the idea of obtaining a delicious meal to help celebrate my mom's 86 birthday and it went fine with the ordering, I even included an extra 7% tip over the automatic 15% that they charge! All be the young lady talking the order seem sweet and caring. So I pay go outside to sit with my mom and time started to pass, and pass, and pass Finally we see the waitress coming with the sandwich and salmon platter and 1 set of silverware? No extra plate like I asked for so we can share, no set of utensils and no drinks. My mom was starving so she went after the sandwich while I waited. And waited and waited and waited and waited. You get the point. So I got up went inside asked for her diet coke because I was afraid she would choke, I was handed the drink and asked for more silverware, and waited and waited eventually I'm handed the silverware and an extra plate. No mention of my tea or empanada. So I go outside give my mom her drink and waited for my buba tea. And waited and waited.... Finally I had enough went back inside asked for a container to take th salmon home at that point she hands me the tea with the wrong lid. Is BUBA with the little tapioca balls it needs a bigger straw and a lid to be able to slide the straw. As I'm walking out the door I told her to save me the empanada for my next visit . She said that she would get it immediately with a deer on the headlights look. She brings out the microwaved empa as Im sliding the salmon home to the container. Walked out with my mom and her world famous cane, and proceeded dump the tea at the nearest trash can since I didn't want to risk a major spill in my car because of the wrong lid. And here we are. I don't recommend the place until they train their staff better. Food can be amazing but the staff makes or breaks the experience. Review edit: After receiving a message from the management on my review above I now fully understand the issues they were having. I hope that the young lady that took care of us has an opportunity for more training and she will shine in the months to come as an important part of the restaurants staff. Thank you to the management for appreciating my detailed experience and their desire to make it better. Will give them another opportunity to serve me their delicious food.

I really enjoy their layout and ambiance. The star of my experience was their Banana Foster hot latte. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it completely delivered. It has this smooth banana flavor with a hint of caramelized sweetness that reminds you of the classic dessert, but it's not overly sugary. The espresso still shines through, and the drink stays perfectly balanced. Every sip feels warm and comforting, especially if you're someone who likes specialty lattes that are flavorful without tasting artificial. What I appreciated most is that the baristas clearly care about the craft. The latte was beautifully made, the milk was silky, and the flavors were layered in a way that felt intentional rather than gimmicky. If you're anywhere near South Miami and want something different from the usual vanilla or caramel latte, the Banana Foster hot latte at Iconik Coffee is absolutely worth trying. It's one of those drinks you end up thinking about later and wanting to go back for.

They are always having pop ups celebrating small businesses, or small events that are curated to feature interesting topics and showcase different local merchants. It's how I discovered Chi Chi's bakeshop - fantastic baked goods - a cool thrift shop, and also an awesome film photo booth vendor. I will dream of the tequenos regularly, in addition to their other grab and go snacks. The coffee they use is from a local roaster, Perla Coffee, and quite delicious. The best tip I could give, besides visiting them and enjoying a killer cup of coffee, is to follow them on Instagram. That's where they post their events, pop-ups, and seasonal / limited time menu items. Parking is easy - you can park in the funeral home across the street no problem. This spot is also women-owned, making it a perfect place to add to your rotation to celebrate Women's History Month and support women-owned businesses. This location also houses Ocho Placas Tattoo shop, a gallery, and film lab. The concept is awesome, and I can't wait to visit again.

‍ Post-Golf Brunch at Country Club Diner - Le Parc Café…read more 2420 NW 7th St, Miami, FL 33125 After a refreshing morning walk around the Granada Golf Course, our CRE team ducked into Le Parc Café, a hidden gem just outside Coral Gables that turned out to be the perfect Friday brunch meeting spot. We grabbed a table inside across from the counter -- the space was cool, cozy, and flooded with natural light, a nice contrast to the Miami heat outside. Great energy for casual strategy talk. Order Highlight: I went for the 4-egg omelet loaded with crispy bacon and cheddar cheese, served with a warm buttery croissant on the side. (See pic ). It was comfort food done right -- fluffy eggs, sharp cheddar melt, and real-deal bacon, not that paper-thin stuff. Service was friendly and quick. Coffee refills came without asking. Staff were chill but attentive, which made it easy to talk business without interruptions. Overall, this spot strikes the perfect balance for a laid-back, productive CRE catch-up -- no loud crowds, no fuss, just solid food and clean ambiance. Bonus points for easy parking and a menu that works whether you're here for a breakfast deal huddle or a solo laptop session. Already planning to make this a recurring Friday tradition.

They were so approachable, knowledgeable, and fun, that I wanted to support them, so I purchased some coffee. This was on a Thursday morning. The coffee was delivered across the country to my doorstep in Arizona on Saturday - I was super impressed! We made a pot of the Miami Restaurant Employee Relief Fund Blend this morning and it was fabulous. I typically put some steamed almond milk into my coffee but I drank it black (and several cups). It wasn't just me who enjoyed it either. It also passed the test of my judgemental, 43 year old Jewish husband's palate. He always takes his coffee black and this was no exception. I will definitely visit the Per'La coffee shop whenever I make my way back to Miami, but in the meantime, I'm sending love from Phoenix during these crazy times. I know where to look if I ever have questions related to coffee as well! Thanks Team Per'La!
