If you've never had June's in Checotah, you're missing out! Best boneless fried chicken around! Best ranch dressing too. Service is always fantastic. I've eaten here since I was a kid. It's a cute little place. Great desserts. You can't go wrong.

The food, service, and the restaurant was great! Also very clean, the food was delicious and reasonably priced!! Lots of food!

Boneless chicken dinner. This was the half and I wasn't able to finish it. So, so good.

Really, really good and YUGE portions. When you step into the restaurant it feels a little like stepping into a diner in a Hallmark movie. Quaint. Comfy. Charming. The service is super friendly and fast. The food is delish.

Great homemade food restaurant! Prices are reasonable and echoes delicious! We had the chicken fried steak and fried catfish shoes the day's special. Some of the best we've had. Finished with DELICIOUS coconut cream pie!!!

Wow... the chicken is excellent. And the service super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is nothing special but don't let that put you off, if you want good food, this is the place.

Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, salad with homemade ranch dressing and a fried catfish filet!!

I've been to June's a few times now and have enjoyed most entrees. This visit I got the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and a white, savory gravy and corn. The chicken fried steak was so tender and good! The mashed potatoes are real and not flakes. And the gravy is so savory and good!! I ordered one fried catfish to try and it was just OK. It is thick and flaky, but had just a touch of fishy flavor. I'm not a fan of fishy flavor. The cornbread coating was way too think too. It was golden brown, which shows me it was over cooked. I just had three bites and left the rest. The ranch dressing is homemade! One of my favorites. I'll be back again and I'll try the club sandwich. I saw so many of those being delivered to people, I know it's probably delicious! The restaurant itself is very old and charming. It appears clean and does smell like they're cooking fried foods!!

One room small town country diner specializing in fried chicken. Great service. The chicken fried steak was perfect. We also loved the boneless chicken and their bbq sauce was really good. Will definitely come back when in the area.

Service was spot on throughout the entire night. We started with the deviled eggs, half plain and half Chef's Choice. The Chef's Choice were the best, drizzled with chili crisp (or pickled Szechuan peppercorns) and topped with a tiny gherkin and fresh dill. The soup of the day was a cabbage and radish soup. It was interesting and very homey but I wish I had ordered the salad. I had the Novarro Farm sweet Potato Gnocchi (kale and pecan pesto, Birch Bottom Farm Georgia candy roaster, fresh chevre). I was a little hesitant about the kale pesto but should NOT have been. This dish was delicious--great garlic flavor. Would order again. The burger looked amazing and while The Hubs said it was good, he also said it needed some more spice. They had a couple of rotating beers from Heirloom--a Mexican Lager and an Italian Pilsner. I had the Water Lily cocktail, their take on an Aviation. Order it just because it's beautiful (and refreshing). The photo does not depict the deep color of it. I asked what other gin based cocktails they had on their menu. They didn't but the server/bartender offered to make me a Bee's Knees for the second round. It was delicious! The atmosphere here is casual but the food is elevated. I kept thinking this is what a French bistro would be like inside. I want to come back and shop the market. Oh, and the apple pie was excellent as well!

Also, they now host karaoke on Saturday nights, and it was a blast! Only visible staff was the bartender (owner?). She was a terrific waitress. Love those $4 martinis. Hubby ordered his fav fish & chips, I ordered the "Black & Blue" flatbread. I would have sent back his whole plate. Instead of toasty brown everything was burnt. The black & blue: some great flavor from the cheese, tomatoes, pickled red onion, nonmemorable horseradish sauce, pretty presentation. My opinion, leave off what little steak there is. Adds nothing to the flavor, only some tough chew bites. The crust: I know there's argument here. I'm usually for good char on a pizza (I've had pizza all around Italy). But this was burnt and smelled burnt. Disappointed? Way. We'd wanted to get there for some time. I'm still intrigued by some of their menu items. For my starter I ordered "Our Nice Little Salad" this beauty was crisp, fresh, and had tomatoes that popped in your mouth and bursted with flavor. The in-house croutons had that perfect buttery crunch, spiced pecans added a unique boldness and the homemade ranch was thick and creamy. I will say I had to ask three times for ranch. I just kept waiting. For our main courses we had the bone-in pork chop. Thick, juicy, and properly rested paired with red mashed potatoes.... Which were very good. The seasonal corn - was gone so quick! It was just so delicious. Ate that right up!! The shrimp scampi leaned heavily into garlic and butter in the best possible way. Shrimp were big, tender and juicy. Unfortunately my rotisserie chicken.... was very dry. I kept choking because of that. I was unable to eat it, that was disappointing. As far as atmosphere... very warm lighting, intimate feels, candle lit, steady energy, attentive staff. The dining room hums with laughter and happy customers... but without overtaking the conversation at our table. The volume was comfortable considering it was a full house.
