I have traveled quite a lot and have been to many places to eat - they range from a one star to a 5 star - and I have some criteria that I use. Is the bathroom clean - why - because the people that prepare, cook and serve your food use the same bathroom and if it's dirty - chances are - the kitchen is too - to say nothing about their hands! Is the staff friendly or are they treating you like a burden - believe it or not - many places have people that shouldn't be dealing with people and this can be a huge turn off! Is the menu one with selection or is there really nothing to pick from - and sometimes worse than a light menu is one that has a hundred items. I've found that the more they have - the less impressed I am - no place can be good at a huge variety! Is there a fair price associated with the menu - can I afford it, will I enjoy it or is the price so high or is there no value - I have to feel good about what I paid for the food - the better it is - the more I can enjoy the food! Is the service fast or am I going to age waiting for a refill of coffee or getting my meal - will the server return to ask if I need anything or once they drop the plate off - am I dead to them? At this place - I can honestly say that both times I have been there I have been extremely impressed - in fact - my prime rib was not only HUGE, a great price, but it came quickly by a friendly server and it was delicious! BTW - I can NOT go here without having the peanut butter pie - but try some other pies and please leave that one just for me! You should put this on your "must go to" place!
