I really been wanting seafood for a good two week. My husband aunt was telling me about Jumping J's how it was sooo good and they give you your money's worth. So I'm like ok let me look on yelp. Only a few reviews all good though and only three photos. So I took her word and went down there myself. Ummmm nice, clean and great customer service. When I got my food I took pictures at the counter and ask the cashier could she video the menu. She was awesome I wanted to order more food because I seen somebody had oysters (I love fried and steamed oysters) anyway I would come again. #seafoodlover read more

My sister and I have dinner there on Wednesdays. Everything we've tried has been great. So tomorrow my husband and I are going for lunch. He loves the hamburger steak with onions and l have to say it is very good. The ladies are very nice and it's large enough that it's not so crowded. I was very disappointed with my 2pc flounder box. I received 2 small pieces of fish, which was greasy and not good. I was expecting 3 pieces for the price I paid. There was not a full cup of salad. I had to dig under the fries to find the fish. I probably will not return again. read more

You dropped the ball today Jumpin J's. Enough so, I must comment on my experience. I patron your restaurant quite regularly and have been for years. Occasionally my order may sway a little left or right of center but for the most, always correct and delicious. Not today. First, my bacon double cheeseburger had no bacon. Also, whomever assembled my burger started to put ketchup on it then realized it wasn't supposed to and proceeded to scrape it off. Well you left some and I HATE KETCHUP. Burger King does this all the time (they don't bother to remove it and just get your order wrong). I expect this from Burger King but not Jumpin J's. Was it too much to just get a new top bun? As much as all your customers pay their food, I think not. I did call when I realized there was no bacon and the ketchup incident. I was asked to bring my burger back. REALLY? Also, I was told I had to be there by 9:25 and it was already 9:05. I was home and not going back out and had already taken two or three bites once my dilemma was realized. I didn't even mention the fries were not fresh and tasted like they had been cooked prior to my order being placed. Also, the onion rings were drenched in grease like they were cooked in oil that wasn't hot enough. I was willing to let that go but since I was provoked to leave a negative review, I might as well mention it all. OH! One more thing. While I  was waiting at one of the pull-up spots, I realized I forgot to ask for honey mustard. I called the restaurant while waiting for my order and asked the lady to please include some while letting her know who I was and what spot I was waiting. Well guess what, no honey mustard. Didn't mention that either when I called about the burger. So, I hope one can see why I feel justified in leaving this review. I do hope you aren't setting a new standard with your business like so many other businesses have chosen to do. This could have all been handled with that one phone call. Great food! If you're a Florence local or just driving through I recommend you stop by for a meal! Food is amazing and the price are good for the amount of food they give you! I had enough leftovers for my lunch tomorrow! Staff is super nice and friendly. The inside is a tad outdated but it makes you feel like you're in a old southern restaurant which matches the food. My family and I were visiting the area and based off such great reviews, we decided to try this place out. Best decision ever. The food here was amazing. Upon arrival I was a little skeptical that it would take forever to get our food because of the crowd already at the restaurant plus the large group that I came with. However, they were extremely fast in getting the food out. The service here was so great. It was almost as if we were family how we were treated, which to be honest, can make a dining experience that much better. We came on a Saturday night which was the large shrimp dinner special night. It was so much food that I could not even finish it all, and I hardly ever need a to-go box. My sister ordered the fried pork chops and they were great too. As being a southerner, the final judgment is based off the quality of sweet tea. I must say it definitely got an A! The young lady at the window was really rude. First off while at this window, and didn't ask me to repeat my order or was it complete. I continued to ask her did she hear me but she never responded. It was only until I got to the window and realized she walked away. She didn't have my order correct and then when I asked where was the drink, she proceeds to say that the meal didn't come with a drink. I tried explaining that I ordered a large tea but her attitude was so bad until I drove off. I feel that if someone drives more than 30 miles to your establishment, the least you could do is be courteous. I originally planned to go to Maryland Fried Chicken but they were closed. If the young lady with the braids, the bad attitude and the fake Michael Kors bag (she has placed by the drive they window) remain at your drive thru, you're going to lose a lot of business. read more

The food is always delicious but if not dining in make sure your order is correct. When placing an order over the phone make sure they repeat it back to you after placing order.... On the past two occasions when calling in a order it had been totally screwed up the first time it was fixed with no hassle but had to make another trip back to the restaurant for it to be taken care of and this last time I'm just kinda numb to it!!! This is the second time I've had a meal from this restaurant. My company bought lunch for the group both times. Both meals were not what I would call good by any stretch of the imagination. The first time I had a salad and had to call the restaurant to ask them to refund the meal as the issue was so significant that I felt it was wrong to pay for that meal. Today I had a Grilled Chicken Club sandwich. Chicken wasn't grilled, was overcooked and dry as dust and had American cheese on it. Had I know that everything in the south apparently has to have American cheese on it, even when it is not part of the origins of the food item, I would not have ordered it. The sandwich fell in the food category but there wasn't anything enjoyable about it. Bland shredded lettuce, a slice of tomato, some pickles and a generic bun. Everything turned out to be the same texture and did I say bland! No kind of sensory enjoyment to the meal. I will not be eating from here again even if the company pays for it. Fantastic and diverse! They have a little bit of everything which is nice when dining out in a group, I came after a doctors appointment around 2:30 on a Tuesday and they were pretty busy (that's what drew us there) we waited a maximum of 10-15 minutes for our food and it was definitely worth the wait. If you don't mind a little wait for your hot and fresh food and slightly more than average prices for burgers etc. its worth going. The club sandwich was a huge portion. And the loaded hotdog was juicy and flavorful too. They give you tons of fries but they are pretty generic frozen reheated fries-but again its a large about so if you are hungry its a good place to go.
