I love Jumburrito! They never mess up an order and they also use high quality beef and chicken. The service is great and the restaurant is always clean. I think the prices are great for what you're getting. They do not skimp on your food and they definitely have continuity in their food quality. I have to get JumBurrito every time I come to midland. It's a staple. Even though the quality goes down and the price continues to go up, I'll never give up on that tradition lol! This time I tried the breakfast.. a bacon egg n cheese burrito. It was way too dry and over done. After one bite, it was in the garbage. Later I got my favorite: stew meat w/avocado and cheese and I tried something new to me: the smothered beer burrito. The stew meat left me wanting the one I used to get when I was a child (it's just not the same) but I was gladly impressed with the beef burrito smothered in queso! My girlfriend took me to jumburrito because they served "great" burritos. While we waited she told me about how the owner started from a small place. And an old lady doing the cooking. And how he opened up a few more jumburritos. I thought I was in for a treat . Boy!!! I was so damn wrong!! Jumburrito don't serve good burritos. They serve gas station burritos. The kind that gives you the shits. Which I got. I saw a sticker that said "wagyu". I hope they seriously don't use wagyu beef for their burrito. I would hate to think that a cow had to die. Finally got to try this place and they didn't dissapoint. Got the famous stew meat burrito drowned in cheese sauce. Everything came together beautifully and has a great spice to it. Went through drive thru and ordered reg stew meat and avocado and small drink. Stew meat in burrito was very "dry" tasted like leftover meat. The "small" drink was served in a small coffee cup with sip lid. I asked for 1 medium red sauce and didn't receive any. Came in this morning... The lady at the front counter (Ammy is what my receipt says) was stacking up new cups, it was busy and everyone was working hard. She engaged me right away while she perfected her stack and helped me choose a gift card with my delicious burrito. I'm a huge fan of Jumburrito! The best burritos are their breakfast burritos...and also their combination burritos!! They're all at an affordable price between $2.50-$4.00 ,which is great! The ONLY complaint I have is their Customer Servicing!! I understand a lot of the people who work in food (not all, but mojority) are all high school kids, so customer servicing is kind of a pain. Especially if you are trying to call in ahead and make a to go order....the last 3 times I've been placed on hold for over 5 minutes, one of those times I was on hold for over 15 minutes!! Totally unacceptable! And when I called back the phone was STILL on the hook because they still didn't pick it up to take my order :/ really need to step up their game with that. Honestly this is probably the closest thing to Ramona's in Los Angeles. For those of you that don't know Ramona's is "Bomb" mexican food....its the best. Jumburrito's burrito is darn good. This is a simple Mexican food spot similar to a fast food joint, a little better. But it's not authentic Mexican food I was looking for. The service was awesome. He was super friendly and hooked us up with lots of hot sauce and verde sauce. (If you know me, I'm big on my condiments) I got the reg. (small size) beef stew burrito smothered with queso, it was pretty good. The steak was good but nothing amazing. My boyfriend got the lrg. (Pretty big) breakfast burrito smothered in their original sauce which was basically just tomatoes, green peppers and onions. It wasn't saucey like we expected. My husband and I went by and ordered a Jumbo ground beef burrito smothered with queso, which he liked. I, on the other hand ordered a Taco salad, substituted beans for an extra heaping of ground beef. They put the flour shell in a box since it was handed out thru the drive-thru window. When we got home I opened box and on bottom of the box inside, there was SO much liquid, I guess from the beef itself. It made my tortilla bowl SO SOGGY! it ruined everything! To tell you the truth, ground beef was pretty distasteful! My husband commented, surely they use the same ground beef to make the smothered burrito, thing is, THE QUESO is what really give it flavor! We put taco salad in the same bag it came in and as we threw it out, by doing so we noticed IT STUNK! I've had SO many bad experiences with JUMBURRITO, COLD CHILE VERDE,once SO hot, container went right thru lid of bottom container, had to go get another order, ordered chile verde soup and got a burrito instead. The pros are: generous beverage (cup) size labeled burritos with easy to read text, and in English early hours call-in option explosive opening the hot sauce but great taste The cons are: flies are consistently an issue when dining-in. The two options for burrito sizes: jumbo and regular are now the same size and smaller so you're not getting what you pay for. I just spent 45 minutes in line and wasted 5 gallons of gas in line for a burrito. When I complained to a surly young man he just grinned and said he'd get his manager. He arrived a few minutes later with a woman named mariol who with arms crossed asked "what do you want". I explained that I thought the wait time was excessive. She disappeared with my ticket, credit card, and food that had been getting cold by the register. The rude young man eventually returned with my cold food and credit card(without receipt) and passed it through to me and said with a smirk "you have a really nice day", wasting yet another gallon of gas. I wonder if our mayor, the owner, is aware of or condones this kind of customer service. I've loved getting Jum Burrito in the past but not after the experience I had today. When going through the drive thru I ordered 2 small burritos with a large sweet tea. I was waiting in line for at least 20 minutes and finally the woman at the window rudely just passed me my food without saying a word after paying and I realized that she gave me the complete wrong order along with not even giving me my sweet tea. I decided to go inside to tell them I had the wrong order. The same rude black woman just grabbed my food back again without another word and left me standing there for another 10 minutes to where another worker had to ask me what I needed to which I finally got my food. I think the food is great but there definitely needs to be an improvement in customer service, I really think the woman who I encountered today should be fired.I've never come across someone that rude in a food business before and don't intend on going to this location anymore read more

Downhill. Man has this place slid in the past few years. The large burrito was barely bigger than the small. I remember when the large was HUGE! No more. The staff was lazy and had an attitude.
