BF's is the potato one or something spicy (personally, not a fav, as I find the spicy one rather on the too salty but not spicy side). Their main item is a variety of (Nathan's) footlong hot dogs to choose from, but they also have smash burgers, various poutine options and great fresh cut fries. We tried a regular footlong, along with another footlong called the 'Elvis'. The Elvis is a creative hot dog that includes peanut butter, jam, Fruity Pebbles and bacon. All the items we ordered looked amazing in terms of presentation, carefully placed in a cardboard tray for easy takeaway. Definitely going back to try their smash burgers and butter chicken poutine! The Square One location is small, with about five or six booths and five or six tables. There are also some tables set up outside the restaurant, in the mall walkway. When we arrived, there were two booths available. You place your order by Kiosk and Ordering is by kiosk which then activates a "buzzer" which you take to your table and wait for the order to be ready. We ordered three Shack Stacks and two orders of fries. The burgers were pretty good, but I was expecting them to be better for some reason. They are very similar to Burger's Priest, and I believe that Burger's Priest copied their menu. Comparing them to Burger's Priest, I would have to say that Burger's Priest is a bit better than Shake Shack. The fries at Shake Shack are frozen crinkle cut fries, but that is what they are known for. The prices for the burgers, and especially the fries, are very high for what you get, however it is Shack Shack. Would I return? Probably not because for this price point, there are a lot of other options to choose and other "local" burger places.

I chose the pulled jackfruit sandwich which came with Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce which was tasty! I subbed the vegan mayo for the scotch bonnet mayo because I wanted to add some heat. That was such a good call because that mayo is amazing. The employee made sure to check with me to make sure I knew it was spicy and then told me that all of their sauces are made in-house. As a major condiment fan, I love that and they even gave me a side of the Hennessy mustard on the side to try. It's good and the Hennessy really hits you upfront but doesn't linger in the aftertaste which was nice. They have a ton of options for both vegans and omnivores alike so I'd certainly recommend stopping by and trying out their menu. The staff said that of all the restaurants in the plaza they had the most vegan options which is cool! There are pre-assembled choices as well as ones that are customizable. Food (3.75/5) - they have a choice of 7 different smash burgers. Had the Big Ben and friend had the Truffle Mushroom Melt. - Big Ben - two patties, cheese, pickles, lettuce on a brioche bun. Was a bit on the bland side imo. Patties were ok, bit on the small side. - Truffle Mushroom Melt - was better and had more flavour. Patty was similarly ok, mushrooms were good. Service (3/5) - guy at the front seemed like he was just going through the motions, semi-interested and kinda business like overall. They bring your order out when it's ready which is nice. Bunch of younger dudes manning the grill and counter. Atmosphere (1.5/5) - it is just a few tables and booths and pretty spartan. Bit strange the employee coat rack is on the side of the front counter where you order. The main reason though for the low score here is the place is flat out filthy! The floors likely don't get swept more than once every few days... dirty and lots of food remnants under the tables. Who knows what the back cooking area is like tbh.
