Even though there was plenty of seating area, I wanted a quick takeout burger and fries, could have upgraded to a combo to include a soda&dips but I'm finally watching my daily sugar limit, ozempic be gone. Got their smashed cheeseburger and natural cut fries. Nicely flattop grilled crusty 100% beef with no fillers, bun texture was similar to a those foam pillows/mattresses which change & conform to your head/body shape. Topped off with 4 pickle slices, shredded lettuce and their house sauce. All in perfect ratio if there was a burger heaven. Fries were skin on and the portion was enough to feed a family of 4. Nice mom @ pop operation which goes to the top of my list pass those burger chains that has infested all of society.

Matt's Burger Lab has daily deals and they finally lured me in with the burger + drink combo. The service was friendly, and the burger was made fresh to order. I really liked the amount of pickles, onions and sauce on the burger, and the patty itself was solid. Overall a very reasonable meal.

I got the classic burger and onion rings on a weekday around noon and it wasn't busy at all. Deducting 1 star because the patty was more to the drier side. It wasn't juicy at all. I loved the onion rings because they were so crispy. I ended up taking half home and it was still crispy couple hrs later lol Harvey's used to be my #1, but this was way better!

This specials at this burger place are pretty cheap. Got the bacon cheese smash (on special) & medium fries.  The burger was decent. The patty could be juicier (though it wasn't dry) & the char flavour could be better. The beef bacon was good for beef bacon.  Fries were a big portion. The fries seemed fresh, not frozen & came with a good creamy sauce. They were fresh & hot but a touch firm & rather greasy There's a TV which plays videos of indie bands doing covers.  Lotus biscoff shake could've been thicker but there was a lot of crunchy cookie in it so the flavour was good.

Today was a special day! 2 smash cheeseburgers for ten bucks! It was a one day promo I caught on instagram so I came over in the crummy rain. Totally worth it! The bun was pillowy soft. The beef patty was smashed and crisp. The cheese was evenly melted. There were pickles and fried onions. No more, no less. A classic burger without lettuce and tomato. Oh right, the sauce was reminiscent of Big Mac but better. They even included a packet of ketchup but I didn't need it. The burger was juicy but not greasy. Very enjoyable.

I quite like the burgers here. They always come with a huge amount of sides and are reasonably priced. I loved their oreo milkshake!!

    Matt's Veggie Burger. Sad.

I ordered the Matt's Veggie Burger with lettuce and onion which was on a two for one sale. I got one with the keto bun. It turned out to be over $30 via Ubereats (which is a lot for one burger!). It seemed to be made out of TVP/soy protein but I was expecting something healthier for that price. There was zero onion on it. See pic. The lettuce was stale shreds and not enough when it's the only condiment they put on. Somehow a 2 for 1 ended up $10 more expensive than the best veggie burger on UberEats. Nope. Never again.

Went on a Saturday and was surprised it wasn't busy at all! The shop is below ground level, you go down some stairs from the street to go in. We had: - Beef bacon smash: There was an awesome daily special deal we could not pass on for this. Came with a soft drink (we chose Nestea) for around $7 which is a steal. However, we found it was too salty (the patty with the bacon combined was overkill). The patty was a great smash patty, crispy on the edges. 7/10 - Mushroom and egg: This was great. Although the patty was too salty in the beef bacon smash, the eggs and the mushrooms mellow it right out! I did expect the egg to be runny, but turns out it was fully cooked, so that was a bit of a bummer. Got a combo with a diet coke and fries (see review in the next point). 8/10 - Fries: Amazingly well seasoned. If you like chunky, starchy fries, these are fries for you! They have a nice cajun seasoning. I was also extremely impressed that they come with garlic mayo and spicy mayo on the side, which is my preferred choice of condiment with my fries (as opposed to ketchup)! 9/10 Overall, food was great and service was good! Their burgers are also halal as well. Definitely check this out, they got some good stuff here!

This burger place I went to in Toronto is the best burger I've had so far. It has a lot of juicy meat and plenty of cheese, making it very satisfying. However, it's a shame that the chicken nuggets we had were all made with chicken breast, which made them a bit harder to bite into. The French fries were just average with nothing particularly special about them. Overall, it's an average restaurant.

I came here to pick up takeout for lunch with a coworker. You are looking to spend probably around $20 but depending what you get (like a $9 poutine) , your price may vary. Overall I quite liked the burger here. Ingot somewhat of a banquet burger , with the nice fried egg and a nice greasy bun. Exactly how a burger should be. The patty was really good and seasoned nicely The taste was really good on the burger. I ate it so fast along with stuffing my face with onion rings. My friend got a spicy chicken sandwich. This one confused me unless we got the wrong order. It looked nothing like the picture with the purple slaw, but was a chicken cutlet breaded and tasted like curry. She did not like it at all, so she gave me half. (Bonus for me) and drowned the other half in ketchup as she is a pretty picky eater. I still thought it tasted good but the description made no mention of curry flavour and there was none of that purple slaw I saw in the picture when ordering. Overall I still liked it. Never bothered to follow up with them if this is the wrong order or just how it is. So I can't really judge them on how they handle the situation. I would definitely go back. It is a bit pricy, but that is downtown in general.

I'm always down for a smash This $8.50 classic smash was tasty in between a pillowy bun topped with lettuce, onions and pickles. Although a little dry, it definitely hits a classic burger craving. And for an additional $6 to make it to a combo, they give you a generous serving of fries. For an additional $1, you can get a little dip of rosemary garlic mayo which was so good, but big emphasis on LITTLE. I would've wanted a bit more to increase the sauce to fry ratio.

So glad that there's now a decent gourmet burger place that we can go to. We used to get our burger cravings with another known burger chain in the same area (well known for their "secret menu" and religious connotation) but lately we're not happy with the quality of their burgers anymore. Came on a weekend during lunch time and place was pretty quiet. The lone staff (who was also the Manager/Cashier/Cook) was very nice, friendly and helpful. They have a daily special of Smash Burger, Fries, Drink and the price was pretty reasonable. We upgraded the fries to onion rings for $1.50 more and hands down was one the best onion rings in Toronto. Thick slices of onions were deep fried to crunchy golden brown perfection. The smash burger with its tender juicy meat, creamy cheese, caramelized onions, pickles and their zesty signature sauce on a toasted bun was satisfyingly good! Also tried one of their Signature Burger - Big Egg Theory. The soft egg yolk and oozing melted cheese breaks and seeps into the beef patty making a heavenly combination of taste and texture. Can't wait to come back and try other things on their menu.

I was initially tempted by the photos on Google Maps but my experience in person was disappointing. We went for a bite after a Jays game and while service was good, burgers and fries were AWFUL. Just awful. The fries were soggy, stale, and not crispy at all. The cheeseburger was an even greater disappointment. First off, you're getting pickles and onions on your cheeseburger and THAT'S IT. No lettuce. No tomatoes. No cucumbers. Nothing. Just pickles and fried onions - both of which I hate. They use unpleasant cheddar cheese and there's no option to upgrade to quality Swiss cheese. This was by far one of the worst burgers I've ever had in Toronto. The only reason why I finished my cheeseburger was that I was hungry after the game. I'm never going back to this place again. Chef Matt Yilmaz, please go to Holy Chuck at Yonge and St Clair and learn how to make quality burgers. Your cheeseburger was a big disappointment.

The I Heart Butter Tart Concrete ($6.49) that I ordered was a little too much for myself. I did decide to go through and finish the ice cream / sundae just so I don't have anything to go. The interior of the place was properly though out and well designed. Self order stations are available to order from and the ordering interface is one of the better systems I have seen. When I dined in early afternoon on a weekday it was a rather slow day. There were a couple of Shake Shack employees constantly roaming about the premises ready to attend to any customer request. 1 such employee was thoughtful enough to serve me and a group of other customers some water. I have mixed feelings about the bathroom setup. Yes, it is clean and there were a few toilet rooms available, but it requires a code to be entered prior to using. The door screen shows as vacant but an employee still needs to give out the 4 digit code needed to access the toilets. I also found some issues with the water faucet sensors. It is inconsistently picking up my gestures resulting in an unreliable and unsteady flow of running water when I was washing my hands.

The service was friendly and patient as I was greeted upon entry and took my time perusing the menu. The restaurant was very clean and organized, not a lot of stuff on the walls and the bathrooms were in top shape which I appreciated. I ordered the classic double burger, with a side a fries and a cane cola. The burger was delicious! Toppings were fresh and tasty, and it made a mess with the sauces and condiments which is a sign of a great burger. It wasn't overly huge, a good size for my hands and they did get messy as I devoured this scrumptious burger. The Cane Cola was a nice accompaniment to try for the first time but not necessary to enjoy the burger. The fries were golden and crispy and quite a large portion for the price. I just wished the fry lengths were a bit longer as I received a lot of tiny pieces instead of longer potatoes which meant I was scooping them up in my hand to eat them. Not a dealbreaker, just an annoyance. The wait for the food wasn't very long, about 5-8 minutes and they brought the order to the table. I really enjoyed the burger and fries making this NOT just another burger spot but MTTBS = Must try this burger spot!

Went on Monday afternoon as I was on my regular driving route and ordered the crispy chicken burger.
