    Enchiladas Verde

The enchiladas verde was fine. Not bad, just not as exciting as other dishes I have had! I would get it again though!

    Runny expensive cheese dip

Kids burger looked burnt, cheese dip with chorizo was really runny, so I requested regular cheese dip and was charged 4.99 for a tiny bowl. We had to change tables because a flickering light was giving us a headache and would definitely cause somebody with sensory issues would have a seizure. It was so dark you need a flashlight to read the menu.

Road trip to Virginia Beach - We had to grab a bite to eat. Julio's had only three others seated so I meandered with camera in hand. This place is eclectic - just look at these pics will ya!? We were in and out in thirty-eight minutes. Very satisfying and delicious. Before we left, 12-15 others had come in.

We ordered Nachos Fajita & Shrimp Fajita. And it was so delicious. Kind and gentle everyone. Food is clean and good.

Chimichanga Cheesecake in a to go tin. Very, very good.

I was in the mood for nachos & beer last night, so I made a spontaneous trip to Julios. On the menu, Nachos are listed beneath Appetizers, and have a few options, Cheese, Beans, Beef, Chicken, Chorizo, Nachos Fajita, and Nachos Rico. Sort of like pick your toppings as one does with pizza. I asked if they all included Sour Cream? No, but Nachos listed under Chefs Suggestions do. So I looked and found Nachos Supreme $8.99 ("Cheese Nachos loaded with beef, chicken and beans topped with lettuce, sour cream, tomato and cheese"). So I ordered the Nachos Supreme, and on a whim I ordered Chimichanga Cheesecake for dessert. Thirty minutes later I was at home digging into Nachos. Not very exciting; and didn't require beer on the side. They were very good, just rather unimaginative. Next, the Chimichanga Cheesecake. It was like a deep fried Kolache, dusted with Cinnamon-Sugar, served à la mode and topped with colorful sprinkles. It was super-good, super-sweet, and I'd love to do it again.

Side of cheese dip was yummy

After leaving the airport and getting slightly lost we were looking for food nearby and came across this place. It has a pretty a small parking lot but we were able to find a spot quickly. The food was good and prices extremely fair. Service was also pleasant. I did order the cheese sauce which I typically do at every Mexican restaurant. My mother ordered the chile verde and I go the carne asada which was a large portion. (I do recommend getting the cheese sauce to smother the steak :)). As most typical Mexican restaurants food came our quickly and piping hot.

Nice quaint small authentic Mexican restaurant. Great service. Average prices. Big servings. Margarita was good. Didn't WOW me but average good. Fajitas was very good. All messed tender. Hot food.

Service friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was cheery. The lunch menu was blander than a typical Mexican restaurant.

The food was not the best. The people that worked there was not so friendly. I even got sick after eating there.

I ordered a margarita and they didn't provide or offer water on the side. I grew up with California burritos which have French fries, carne asada, veggies, and cheese. The restaurant offers a burrito California which seems to be just a burrito with avocado. Obviously not the same. I ordered the chile Colorado burrito which can be described as a saucy taquito dosed in cheese with rice and pico on the side. How I would rank the burrito - Meh How i would rank the drink - not bad How would I rank service- middle of the road. The waitress pretty much asked me as I'm sitting down what I would like to drink. This is fine if I'm a regular that dines here often but this the first time for me. I honestly can't see a difference from other Mexican restaurants in this area.

It's right on Williamsburg Rd in Sandston so the traffic can sometimes be a bit noisy. Overall, a wonderful atmosphere without feeling rushed. The cucumber margaritas were a great complement to our shrimp cucaracha appetizer & my meal. I had the birria empanadas (?) I apologize for my lack of knowledge with the entrees. Regardless, what I had was spectacular. I plan on bringing others in the future. Thanks for a lovely evening!

Food: If you're looking for decent tex-mex, then this place will get the job done. I can't complain…read moreabout chips and salsa, and if you like spicy, ask for the spicy salsa, which is not that spicy, but at least a little more heat than the regular one. I ordered the steak fajitas and the meat was tough and overdone. I also felt like they were not very generous with the sour cream and guac. It was unusual that I got slices of tomato instead of pico de gallo. Others seemed pretty content with their meals. Service/Ambiance: I was pleasantly surprised that our server allowed our group of 20+ to do separate checks. We were also seated in a separate area so it was only our group in the room, which was nice, otherwise the restaurant itself can get quite loud. Unfortunately, we ran into some issues with our orders, extra tortillas were missed, and they brought out beef burritos instead of bean burritos for one of the orders. Would I come again? Only if I had a large group since the side room was nice, otherwise, I'd probably check out another place in the area.
