This place was some of the best Mexican food I've had in this area! Service was excellent, quick and spot on. I love spicy and hot things, I asked for something hotter than the hot sauce on the table. She brought me some made in house habanero salsa from the back and it was some of the best I've had. I came in at 2:45pm. End of their lunch service and no customers except for me. I was greeted with a warm and enthusiastic smile and invited to sit anywhere. "Still serving food?" -of course! What are your drinking, brother? Many employed at other establishments would be thoroughly annoyed to have to serve someone for lunch after being empty for quite some time. Not here. The gentleman saw that I was having trouble looking at things on my phone so he volunteered a sheet of paper with the wifi password on it. - Difficult to get reception in here. Here's the WiFi password if you'd like it. He saw me looking around and asked, -What are you looking for? Need hot sauce? Here. Would you like to try some of the hot sauce that we make here? Baseball ok? Want me to change the channel? Someone once told me that service is what happens to you. Taking your order, getting it right, and bringing what you ask for is what is expected. Anticipating what you might need and offering them, making sure that you have the best experience, day, lunch, is hospitality. Good service, great employees, but went there two times and both times the food was not edible. Got a vegetarian meal the first time and it was so greasy, I couldn't eat it. The second time I got the basic taco salad thinking I couldn't go wrong, but I was wrong. They use fajita meat in the taco salad which I had not experienced at any other Mexican restaurants. Some people may like this, but I did not. Personally, I cannot recommend this restaurant, but I will say that everyone else in my group said their food was fine. read more

My husband had the beef and chicken chimichanga. He said the dish was good he rated it 7/10. I enjoyed the spinach quesadilla, good portions and didn't skimp on the spinach. The spinach could have used more seasoning, but overall it was good. The restaurant was clean and not too crowded. I would revisit this establishment. read more

Located in a shopping center, but don't let that fool you. Locals were han out at the bar watching sports on the tv. Chips and salsa started us off. I had a good chili relleno and soft beef taco. Visited with my family of 7. Staff was friendly, food was great (all food ordered) and bathrooms were clean! The cost for lunch specials is well worth it as the portion size is great. They have military discount too. So much better than the last business that was located there. We will be visiting April 2020 update- this continues to be our go-to place close by our house. As traditional as you can get! This place is a chain, but it is still a great place to grab a bite of Mexican food. All the food was fresh and made with real ingredients. Nothing seemed store-bought and was made to the standard that I would expect from an authentic Mexican restaurant. I could taste all the traditional spices (such as coriander and epazote) instead of cumin or dried oregano that people tend to use - which is the lazy way to make Mexican food! I also had their maize-based tortillas, not the wheat tortillas and I had soft tacos, not crisp taco shells, which made it all the more traditional. I had carnitas and carne asada which were marinaded perfectly and was very, very flavorful. Even the sides were really good. I had a large portion of tomato-based Spanish rice with the lunch combo special, which was fluffy and amazing. I also had a few beers to go with my beer that just tied everything together. Great, great lunch place that served my friends and I (8 of us in total). Service was great too! I will definitely be coming back! 10/10, would recommend! read more

We stayed at a hotel nearby and were looking for a place to grab dinner. Our family of four had so many options from the vast menu, but what we ordered didn't disappoint. Got the nachos, Pollo Sammy and 2 orders of Carne Asada. Also had guacamole and the cheese dip, as well as 2 medium margaritas. All the food was great! The cheese dip wasn't super thick, but had a nice jalapeño flavor (not spicy). The Pollo Sammy was exactly what I needed, with lots of veggies and tender chicken topped by a thin cheese sauce. Was a little hard to find the chicken under all of the sauciness, but there was an ample amount and it was tasty. The margaritas (we ordered medium) were huge, and were kind of "old school" as in there weren't many Cadillac or upgrade options. Still, they were yummy and "scratched the itch" for a drink after a long day in the car. The decor was nice, and the restaurant was very clean. Service was attentive. Try this spot! read more
