They took x-rays and Dr. Benjamin Wachter was very friendly and cordial while he reviewed my x-rays and discussed my options. Then Abraham, the hygienist came in to assess what needed to be done. He also was very personable and listened to me as he discussed my teeth. Both Tiffany and Michelle were very nice as assistants and doing c-rays. The only problem that I encountered was with the receptionist who seemed to take a long time coming up with a copay amount using my insurance. The amount she came up with was not the amount Abraham had estimated- or even close. I said it wasn't what I had been quoted and left without making the next appointment. Abraham must have discussed it with her, because she called back with his estimate. So I made another appointment to have the work done. Overall- a good experience once everything was fixed.

I apologized to the Dr. as she introduced herself having recently joining their team. She asked questions to develop my medical history and understand my fears of the chair. I have tried to call to get it rectified on multiple occasions at this point and left with the "we will resubmit to your insurance for a fourth time" response. I have a DHMO family plan and this is my assigned provider, I have received my EOB from the insurance and even called them to verify my coverage. Under the plan the provider agrees to a discounted rate to be considered a network provider, the insurance paid the allowable rate for each service per the agreement. Now the provider's office is billing me for the "discount" directly and even sent my bill to their external business office to act as collections. The office even quoted a different amount for non-covered services than what was billed. $86 for fluoride that I was told would be a $5 up charge?

We have cancelled all appointments and will not be returning. Nor would we recommend this office to any one else.
