I had my first appointment with Dr. Dickerson. I had been going to the same dentist for years, and since I moved to a different part of town, I needed to find a new provider. I could not be more pleased with my decision to see Dr. Dickerson. The experience was great since my first call to his office to schedule the appointment. The receptionist was so friendly. I was so surprised when I arrived for the appointment and the office was decorated so nicely for St. Patrick's Day. You can tell they enjoy doing little extra things for their patients. They even had a little sign hanging on the door that said "Welcome Leslie!". Nice touches. The hygenist was so thorough. The equipment and technology they use is top notch and she took her time to provide alot of good information to me about my teeth. My 11yr old daughter and I went to Dr Dickerson's office this week and was thoroughly impressed with the kindness and professionalism we encountered. My daughter was worried when they found a small piece of baby tooth that needed to be extracted. Normally, a procedure like this would have been rescheduled for another day but, Dr Dickerson was able to work out his schedule to be able to do it right then. My daughter only stressed for a short time before he extracted the tooth, then we were on our way. She even won a movie ticket from the gumball machine on our way out! I asked a professional for a referral to a dentist who was not simply excellent, but was also a caring person who could help me through the parts that scared me (choking on a mouthful of impression material, etc.) I've been to the dentist many times, but Dr Dickerson is the first who works with me to reach a goal - that I want, and that he has skills to create. He worked to create a successful set of teeth that my oral surgeon could place on implants within certain limits due to my particular problems.
