Cool little juice shop with lots of interesting choices. The location is a little tricky and parking is a bit of a hassle. The parking lot is located to the left side of the building and raised. Parking is limited, and there is a time limit, so don't plan on parking and walking. The service was great! Our cashier was very friendly, and she was super helpful with the menu. She even offered to replace my drink if I didn't enjoy the one I picked (I did enjoy it though!) I got the soul boulder which had protein, and had a great cherry chocolate flavor! I enjoyed it a lot and would definitely recommend. The whole drink was plant based so no milk or whey. My husband got the strawberry mylkshake, he liked his, but after he tried mine, he wished he had gotten mine! The soul Boulder was seriously so good, and I think a good choice for people who don't have much experience drinking smoothies. There's no green, or veggies, so a great gateway smoothie. What a little oasis! I was in Austin for a weekend and my friend and I had a craving for a smoothie so we thankfully stumbled across this place. Before you walk in the door, you have to admire the foliage with its cute seating options, including a butterfly chair! If you are in the picture taking mood, you certainly have some excellent backdrops. The shop itself is very quaint...definitely an order-your-smoothie-and-exit kinda place. I decided to order the Wundershowzen, mostly because it has peanut butter in it....and peanut butter is life. It also has spinach (yayy..get the veggies in), almond milk, banana, and hemp protein. Let me tell you that this smoothie was EVERYTHING! Hands down, the best smoothie I have ever tasted from an establishment. Definitely better than my own..even if I were to use the exact same ingredients. Imagine that. There are sooo many different smoothie options. You shouldn't have trouble finding something that you have a taste for. Smoothie was made pretty quickly so you don't have to worry about long wait times. There is minimal street parking. Hands down best smoothies I've ever had! I'm literally so sad and disappointed now whenever I get smoothies around the Northern Virginia area where I'm from because nothing can compare. I've had it once before when I visit Austin in 2016 and ever since then when I revisited recently it was on my top list to go visit again too. I just love the aesthetic of the place how it has a beach shack vibe with such vibrant colors especially their own drinks. Everything there is fresh and natural and they have bunch of crazy fruits and vegetables they incorporate to their drinks that I've never heard of. They use fresh fruit and a bunch of different super fruits which really sets this place apart from most. If you ask their employees all are so knowledge able of their different menu items and the benefits of each nutrition and really sweet! It was so hard deciding which to get because they all sounded so delicious. I ended up ordering the morning sunshine and berry godmother which both were so good, the berry godmother was more on the tart side but they both were sweetened to perfection, not too sweet and not too sour. It's weird because it has this thick creaminess to it but doesn't have like a distinct yogurt taste to it, idk what they put in their smoothies but they're crack. I did try a few sample of their raw juices, they're pretty good, interesting combos like most raw juices. You can definitely taste the the natural ingredients and freshness but it's not as good as their smoothies ofc due to all the sugar that's probably in their smoothies lol If you're ever in Austin, you gotta try at least on their smoothies. My partner and I are regulars at this location. Every time we come in we leave a 20% tip and are usually treated very well! Today we came in and placed a larger order and the female worker in the back loudly yelled "i'm not making this order" and then proceeded to make loud comments about going home and praising the people who ordered after us for only ordering 2 drinks. There was several other customers in the store who also heard the unprofessional comments. The lack of respect is disappointing especially as someone who is a returning customer. We knew it was a large order and tipped accordingly. I don't think making your customers feel unwelcome and uncomfortable for simply placing an order is a way to run any business. read more

This place adds to the eclectic vibe that is Austin. We stumbled upon this place when wandering around Barton Spring road after checking out the park nearby. They have parking (be careful to not hit your car with the steep incline in the lot) and seating outside facing the street. Inside, you can order juices, smoothies, shots, or even pick up a salad or sweet treat. Being from CA, this reminded me of whole foods juice bar area, with similar prices. A large is okay for 2 people to share if they are not super thirsty. We got the valley girl. It had a slight tangy taste to it from the grapefruit, so not too sweet. It tasted fresh! I also took down a shot of carrot, turmeric, pepper which aids in reducing inflammation. Service was friendly and prompt. So I get JuiceLand when I'm looking for a consistent smoothie- but I forgot how expensive they are $8 for a 16 oz smoothie is crazy!! I went downtown and was the only person in line and they took 20 minutes just to make one drink which was odd. When I tried the smoothie- the fruit was poorly blended and there was a huge difference in this specific location compared to others. One thing I appreciate and thoroughly enjoyed about all the locations we visited was the drink consistency (flavor-wise) and the different themes that each location seemed to have. No JL was the same, which includes aesthetically and relating to the physical menus. JuiceLand can do no wrong. I generally always enjoy their smoothies. Yes, some of them do taste "healthy" but I do not see that as a negative. I came here after a day in the sun, and this location near Barton Springs/Zilker is perfect. They even have a small parking lot (super easy to miss imo - it's a steep driveway that almost looks like another road). I enjoyed my peachy green with hemp protein. I want to go back and try the other proteins so I can decide which one I like the best! I was not a fan of my friend's rehydrator as it was a bit too minty for me. The clementine was a good smoothie if you want a more classic, jamba juice type smoothie. The biggest winner was the morning sunshine! I loved that goji berry crunch. JuiceLand is a little bit mystical with their exotic menu and the fact its perched on a small hill just outside Zilker Park. Even though I live in LA, I haven't really been swept up by the juice craze but I can see JuiceLand thriving in LA or maybe San Francisco is more appropriate because they really have a holistic approach to making healthy juice that includes incorporating things from various disciplines and cultures. Granted, the prices are steep but they do pack each drink with a lot of great stuff. Everything they make includes superfoods and fresh ingredients you might not have heard of or tried before but in the end its delicious. Perfect after partaking in the great outdoor activities in Austin. The menu is almost neverending but the folks working here are super nice and helpful in walking you through it and getting you to the perfect blend for you. We ended up getting the Morning Sunshine (includes local bee pollen and goji berries) and it was really good! It's a great bit of detox from all the great BBQ you'll eat in Austin and you can sip away in their outdoor front porch complete with cool hipster benches. Since my trip to Austin, i have been inspired to create a 5-day juice cleanse (but cheated and ate dinner) for H, and he was able to lose 5 lbs in those 5 days. The scale does not lie! Not only are you absorbing so much vitamins & nutrients, you're giving your colon a break from all the food that we ingest day in & day out. HOLLA PAIN YO is my fav!! spicy with perfect amount of kick. (orange colored drink on right side of pix). i believe name is a play on the chili "jalapeño". so cute. the ingredients are comprised of jalapeno, garlic, carrots, orange, cilantro, lime, and salt. the NINJA BACHELOR PARTY (green drink on left) is good, but not my fav. the ingredients consist of pineapple, celery, kale, spinach, parsley, salt, and jalapeño. most of the ingredients are veggies, but it does not taste like it at all. it's really good. prices are: $5.95/ $7.50 / $9.95 (juices) you might say that these prices are somewhat outrageous. Well, what's more outrageous is Vegas charging you $18 for Grey Goose & cranberry with little effort involved other than pouring. let me tell you the labor or love that comes out of making these juices. there's washing, cutting, peeling, and having to push them through the juice machine. furthermore, do you know how much ingredients it takes to make one little cup? how much juice can you squeeze out of spinach & kale??? lastly, washing the juice machine is not easy feat. having "juiced" at home really makes me appreciate the efforts of these hard-working folks here at Juiceland. whether you're lucky to live in Austin to be able to try these juices, juicing is so beneficial to one's health that you can be your own creative chef at home and make your own recipes. these wild recipes at Juiceland have inspired me to use some funky ingredients in my own juices. there's a cute garden outside, but since parking is limited to 15 mins, who has time to enjoy? unless you ride your bike here. I have Daily Juice to thank for my late night energy burst this past Sunday. Their quinoa dish and their soothing fresh smoothie elixir provided me with the natural sustenance to help me keep groovin' well into the morning at the Blues Traveler/Martin Sexton ACL after-show at La Zona Rosa. Daily Juice is adorable. Their staff exude healthiness, as does everything inside this darling stall of a store. As soon as you walk in - you're surrounded by warmth and just pure goodness. Their menu of juices is elaborate and extensive and outside of wondrous fresh juice concoctions - they have a wealth of vegan dessert bites, to-go vegan dinner dishes, and even dried flavored kale chips (amazing). It almost became a tradition - stopping in here for some cold heavenly juice brew - after an all day ACL fest of sun and dancing. Daily Juice isn't cheap - but you're paying for quality - freshly made food and drinks. And I know I've used the "love" card a ton in my reviews - but it really is a powerful - hard to place - ingredient in food - and this place lavishes it on whatever they present to you. Whenever I've been there I've tried the Peachy Green. After the first time, I realized it was missing something. I asked them to add ginger and cayenne. Perfect! Wakes me up in the morning. Refreshes me in the afternoon. Calms me down in the evening. A drink for all times and ages. Last time I thought of going a little crazy and ordering the Medicine man shot. Its a shot not for the faint hearted. Spicy. Strong. Will awake your senses and get you ready for the long day ahead of you. Worst customer service, went in for a morning smoothie but wanted to try something new so I asked about the ingredients in the matcha drink and he was so rude with his answer and then I proceeded to ask if there was coconut because the board says include coconut and he replies rudely again. Juices: Recovery Punch (not too sweet, super hydrating) Xtra Holla Pain Yo! (spicy & creamy with a garlic kick, sooo good) Ninja Bachelor Party (the perfect green juice) Shots: Medicine Man (tasty and powerful, highly recommend if you feel any sickness coming on!) Wheatgrass (its wheatgrass, so its quite earthy but so, so good for you) Silver Surfer (delicious... but hard to explain. Just try it!) The service here is really wonderful. They are more than willing to answer your questions, offer suggestions, and fill you in on any ingredient that you might not be familiar with.
