I LOVE JUICELAND. One of my favorite franchises. I was out in Austin when I had a serious craving for it. I finally tried their strawberry matcha. It was the BEST matcha I've ever had. And I've had matcha from so many places. This was hands down the best. Service was amazing. The lady on the register was so sweet and told me about the matcha to begin with. And they finished my drink very fast. Next time I'm in Austin I'm coming back.
Got a mango+passionfruit matcha - wanted to try something new! However, Juiceland is known for their smoothies and juices of course, so the matcha was not one of their strongest beverages. It wasn't a bright colored green, so I knew the grade of matcha probably wasn't ceremonial or was a lower grade. The drink had a thick chalky texture, and the matcha was quite bitter. I enjoyed the mango passionfruit flavor though! The matcha was also so $$$ for the size. I got a small. I will not be getting the matcha again, but I do love their smoothies. The service was quick & friendly. Also, I love the area and vibe of this location. It's fun, bright, and cute.
By far when it comes to presentation, it's a 10 out of 10. Now this is definitely for my gym rats, meat, heads, protein focused people. This smoothie has 50 grams of protein, which is actually crazy, but they put like three different types of protein powder in there. Definitely on the first sip I was taken back, but as I drank it, it grew on me, definitely a great post workout smoothie and I'd probably recommend adding some strawberry in there for sure. The service was pretty quick. I ordered ahead since this was during ACL time, and it was ready pretty quickly. The ambience of the space is small, cute and quaint.
A little hut on Barton Spring, looks like a street with some food trucks or something along the way. Order at the counter and pick up on the right. Grabbed two 2 Oz hot shots and a large watermelon juice to go. $13.91 The hot shot is intense as heck, will make you wince and pucker, but power packed with a lot of immunity supportive ingredients. The watermelon juice isn't too bad, not sweet.
This used to be my favorite JuiceLand, but it seems to have changed a wee bit! It's still a good smoothie, but not what I am used to from here. The area around it seems to have gone down a bit too!
Stepped into Juiceland to prep for a long day at ACL and it was the perfect fruity pick me up. The inside space is colorful and cheery and the staff matches that. I really wish I remembered what my smoothie was called but I'm sure you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
My friend and I came here to grab a smoothie after Barton Springs and had overall really good experience! The employee was sweet and went over the menu, and when we said we would share a 16oz she offered to just split it in to two 8oz cups. It goes without saying as well that aesthetically it's a really neat shop as well, and is nestled kind of in this cute wooded area with a jungle-ly feel to it. The one thing I wasn't the biggest fan of was the value. I don't have a ton of familiarity with smoothie shops, but paying $10 for a 16oz felt a bit expensive. I understand paying more for the convenience of them making it (and the cute ambiance) but I swear I could buy every ingredient in the smoothie and make it 10 times over for the cost of one from JuiceLand.
I love the location and the peaceful patio area. I had the queso roller and rehydrator. The queso roller was a bit spicy but flavorful with the mushrooms, black bean picadillo, cashew queso, sesame sour cream, cilantro lime white rice, in a cayenne tortilla. The rehydrator was exactly what I was looking for with the watermelon juice, mango, peach, raspberry, beet, coconut oil, mint, and lime. I asked for extra mint. It was incredibly refreshing and enjoyable.
I had to get my morning sunshine smoothie fix! It's deliciously orange with pineapple, orange, banana, mango, goji berry, local bee pollen! It's tart but sweet and all around delicious. The morning sunshine is their Monday special for only $7.75! I also got a $.50 discount for bringing my own JuiceLand cup that I previously purchased!
Why 5 stars? Because it's exactly what I needed. --- --- --- I sat in my hotel room, recently recovered from the flu and I thought, "I need a green smoothie." This is something I've probably only said 3-4 times in my life so I felt like I must have *really* needed it. I was pretty sure I wanted to order the Paradise Found, but I consulted with the very friendly girl taking orders and she ultimately swayed me to the Peachy Green, but adding in ginger and mango. It was an excellent recommendation because this was the e-x-a-c-t thing I had in mind an hour earlier when I started thinking about how great a green smoothie would be. The vibe in here was really hipster aka cooler than me. I enjoyed listening to the chill EDM and looking at the bright colors that covered every square inch of this small bodega-like shop. There was even seating outside that fit the weird Austin vibe perfectly where it partly looked like a homeless encampment, partly like a comfortable place to hang out. Thanks JuiceLand for being exactly what I needed.
Cool little juice shop with lots of interesting choices. The location is a little tricky and parking is a bit of a hassle. The parking lot is located to the left side of the building and raised. Parking is limited, and there is a time limit, so don't plan on parking and walking. The service was great! Our cashier was very friendly, and she was super helpful with the menu. She even offered to replace my drink if I didn't enjoy the one I picked (I did enjoy it though!) I got the soul boulder which had protein, and had a great cherry chocolate flavor! I enjoyed it a lot and would definitely recommend. The whole drink was plant based so no milk or whey. My husband got the strawberry mylkshake, he liked his, but after he tried mine, he wished he had gotten mine! The soul Boulder was seriously so good, and I think a good choice for people who don't have much experience drinking smoothies. There's no green, or veggies, so a great gateway smoothie. Overall we were happy with our visit, just wish parking was better, and the shop itself is tiny and a little cramped. Other than that, great visit! read more

What a little oasis! I was in Austin for a weekend and my friend and I had a craving for a smoothie so we thankfully stumbled across this place. Before you walk in the door, you have to admire the foliage with its cute seating options, including a butterfly chair! If you are in the picture taking mood, you certainly have some excellent backdrops. The shop itself is very quaint...definitely an order-your-smoothie-and-exit kinda place. I decided to order the Wundershowzen, mostly because it has peanut butter in it....and peanut butter is life. It also has spinach (yayy..get the veggies in), almond milk, banana, and hemp protein. Let me tell you that this smoothie was EVERYTHING! Hands down, the best smoothie I have ever tasted from an establishment. Definitely better than my own..even if I were to use the exact same ingredients. Imagine that. There are sooo many different smoothie options. You shouldn't have trouble finding something that you have a taste for. Smoothie was made pretty quickly so you don't have to worry about long wait times. There is minimal street parking. However, I biked so the limited parking was not an issue for me. I was able to take advantage of a 10% discount for being a cyclist! Yayy! Fun incentive. If i lived in Austin, I would be here like alll the time! :) read more

Hands down best smoothies I've ever had! I'm literally so sad and disappointed now whenever I get smoothies around the Northern Virginia area where I'm from because nothing can compare. I've had it once before when I visit Austin in 2016 and ever since then when I revisited recently it was on my top list to go visit again too. I just love the aesthetic of the place how it has a beach shack vibe with such vibrant colors especially their own drinks. Everything there is fresh and natural and they have bunch of crazy fruits and vegetables they incorporate to their drinks that I've never heard of. They use fresh fruit and a bunch of different super fruits which really sets this place apart from most. If you ask their employees all are so knowledge able of their different menu items and the benefits of each nutrition and really sweet! It was so hard deciding which to get because they all sounded so delicious. I ended up ordering the morning sunshine and berry godmother which both were so good, the berry godmother was more on the tart side but they both were sweetened to perfection, not too sweet and not too sour. It's weird because it has this thick creaminess to it but doesn't have like a distinct yogurt taste to it, idk what they put in their smoothies but they're crack. I did try a few sample of their raw juices, they're pretty good, interesting combos like most raw juices. You can definitely taste the the natural ingredients and freshness but it's not as good as their smoothies ofc due to all the sugar that's probably in their smoothies lol If you're ever in Austin, you gotta try at least on their smoothies. Perfect for that Texas heat, makes you feel healthy after downing all the tacos and food Austin has to offer and it just taste really good ok, I don't know if I emphasized that enough lol read more

Really great service. Fresh, delicious & fast. Cute little area out front to sit while you wait for your smoothly. Lots of vegetable options. read more
Overall, the place was above average. CONS: - The store is small and when it gets busy, it's like you are shoulder to shoulder with other customers - The smoothies lack a little in flavor PROS: - The service is great - The smoothies are filling and refreshing - The store is cool and artsy - Outside the store, there are seats where it is shaded and artsy feeling as well The ultimate question: would I come back and recommend the place? Yeah, for both. read more

Big fan of Juiceland! Worked there for a year and it was a wonderful experience. So bummed to see y'all discontinued the kaleibrator, but fortunately, the crew at Barton found some durian and were able to make one for me. Unfortunately... it was a really bad smoothie it was super thin and chunky. Lots of little chunks of kale and banana and then three big ole chunks of durian at the bottom. My partner got a wondershowzen and it was the same. Really thin and chunky. Leaving this review so hopefully y'all can retrain the juice staff and no one else will have to pay $15 for a bad smoothie... especially when I know how good it can be read more

This place adds to the eclectic vibe that is Austin. We stumbled upon this place when wandering around Barton Spring road after checking out the park nearby. They have parking (be careful to not hit your car with the steep incline in the lot) and seating outside facing the street. Inside, you can order juices, smoothies, shots, or even pick up a salad or sweet treat. Being from CA, this reminded me of whole foods juice bar area, with similar prices. A large is okay for 2 people to share if they are not super thirsty. We got the valley girl. It had a slight tangy taste to it from the grapefruit, so not too sweet. It tasted fresh! I also took down a shot of carrot, turmeric, pepper which aids in reducing inflammation. Service was friendly and prompt. It was cool to people watch from the side of the road while sipping on some juice! read more

So I get JuiceLand when I'm looking for a consistent smoothie- but I forgot how expensive they are $8 for a 16 oz smoothie is crazy!! I went downtown and was the only person in line and they took 20 minutes just to make one drink which was odd. When I tried the smoothie- the fruit was poorly blended and there was a huge difference in this specific location compared to others. I always get the Clementine which only has orange, peach, and mango and it was good, but for the price I paid and time I waited, it just wasn't worth it. read more

Really bad experience getting an açaí bowl, today. About 4 or 5 of these coconut oil chunks , makes me wonder - are they just blending coconut oil in with the acai? Not healthy, made me feel sick to accidentally eat them. Edit: turns out this is a topping. Sorry for the negative review. Do not recommend the topping, however. read more

JuiceLand is a little bit mystical with their exotic menu and the fact its perched on a small hill just outside Zilker Park. Even though I live in LA, I haven't really been swept up by the juice craze but I can see JuiceLand thriving in LA or maybe San Francisco is more appropriate because they really have a holistic approach to making healthy juice that includes incorporating things from various disciplines and cultures. Granted, the prices are steep but they do pack each drink with a lot of great stuff. Everything they make includes superfoods and fresh ingredients you might not have heard of or tried before but in the end its delicious. Perfect after partaking in the great outdoor activities in Austin. The menu is almost neverending but the folks working here are super nice and helpful in walking you through it and getting you to the perfect blend for you. We ended up getting the Morning Sunshine (includes local bee pollen and goji berries) and it was really good! It's a great bit of detox from all the great BBQ you'll eat in Austin and you can sip away in their outdoor front porch complete with cool hipster benches. Definitely worth a try, your body will thank you! Tip: Parking lot in the back is on a steep hill. read more
i'd like to thank the fine folks who created this menu and the folks who work here who have inspired me to start juicing for all its health benefits. Since my trip to Austin, i have been inspired to create a 5-day juice cleanse (but cheated and ate dinner) for H, and he was able to lose 5 lbs in those 5 days. The scale does not lie! Not only are you absorbing so much vitamins & nutrients, you're giving your colon a break from all the food that we ingest day in & day out. HOLLA PAIN YO is my fav!! spicy with perfect amount of kick. (orange colored drink on right side of pix). i believe name is a play on the chili "jalapeño". so cute. the ingredients are comprised of jalapeno, garlic, carrots, orange, cilantro, lime, and salt. the NINJA BACHELOR PARTY (green drink on left) is good, but not my fav. the ingredients consist of pineapple, celery, kale, spinach, parsley, salt, and jalapeño. most of the ingredients are veggies, but it does not taste like it at all. it's really good. prices are: $5.95/ $7.50 / $9.95 (juices) you might say that these prices are somewhat outrageous. Well, what's more outrageous is Vegas charging you $18 for Grey Goose & cranberry with little effort involved other than pouring. let me tell you the labor or love that comes out of making these juices. there's washing, cutting, peeling, and having to push them through the juice machine. furthermore, do you know how much ingredients it takes to make one little cup? how much juice can you squeeze out of spinach & kale??? lastly, washing the juice machine is not easy feat. having "juiced" at home really makes me appreciate the efforts of these hard-working folks here at Juiceland. whether you're lucky to live in Austin to be able to try these juices, juicing is so beneficial to one's health that you can be your own creative chef at home and make your own recipes. these wild recipes at Juiceland have inspired me to use some funky ingredients in my own juices. there's a cute garden outside, but since parking is limited to 15 mins, who has time to enjoy? unless you ride your bike here. Thank you Juiceland! Here's to better health =) read more

This place is a hole in the wall. Literally. It looks like a grotto was carved into hill. They put a door and juicer inside and viola you got JuiceLand. So many options, so much freedom. Mix and match. They are ready to accomodate all your requests. Friendly people, always greeting you with a smile and always ready to entertain all my questions, however stupid they might seem. Whenever I've been there I've tried the Peachy Green. After the first time, I realized it was missing something. I asked them to add ginger and cayenne. Perfect! Wakes me up in the morning. Refreshes me in the afternoon. Calms me down in the evening. A drink for all times and ages. Last time I thought of going a little crazy and ordering the Medicine man shot. Its a shot not for the faint hearted. Spicy. Strong. Will awake your senses and get you ready for the long day ahead of you. The walls are covered with a lot of information about nutrients and other information regarding food and what helps and what doesn't. I wish the expand and open one down south. No hills to carve a hole in, but plenty of space for a new shop. (Hint - South Congress and Ben White) read more

Juiceland (along the 30-bus route) should certainly be a part of your Austin stay. Hop on the 30-bus route to take ride out to one of Austin's prettiest suburbs (Bee Cave/ Hill Country). Just as the bus crosses the bridge to exit Downtown Austin, the Barton Springs Juiceland. Nutritious juices, wheatgrass shots, and very reasonable prices made sure I got my health kick for the day! I like the Rejuvenate with a shot of wheatgrass. Hop back to the 30-bus to go deeper into Bee Cave and Barton Springs or take it back to into the city. (I liked sitting in the benches outdoors and read or people watch). Added bonus: very friendly staff. read more
Great service, great juices, great location. As a juice lover I was thrilled to discover Austin had something like JuiceLand. My favorites are.... Juices: Recovery Punch (not too sweet, super hydrating) Xtra Holla Pain Yo! (spicy & creamy with a garlic kick, sooo good) Ninja Bachelor Party (the perfect green juice) Shots: Medicine Man (tasty and powerful, highly recommend if you feel any sickness coming on!) Wheatgrass (its wheatgrass, so its quite earthy but so, so good for you) Silver Surfer (delicious... but hard to explain. Just try it!) The service here is really wonderful. They are more than willing to answer your questions, offer suggestions, and fill you in on any ingredient that you might not be familiar with. I am in town visiting and have already been to JuiceLand 3 times... and Im pretty sure Ill be back a few more times before I head back home. Its an essential part of the Austin health & wellness scene. read more

Daily Juice is the kind of place thats great in theory. Think about it, you have a little "hut" sitting on Barton Springs-the road most notorious for all that is Austin. If your a tourist, go crazy. The drinks taste meh, and are quite pricy. The employees are kind of unwelcoming too. I am all about juicing/eating raw/naturopath hurrah, but this place is just okay for me. I think the one on 45th street is better. Do yourself and your wallet a favor-go out and buy a blender, and look up basic berry/banana/flaxseed recipes. read more
We came here for delicious tasty smoothies !! This little shop did not disappoint - the drinks are on point!! We got the recovery one and added banana and mango and it was amazeballs!! The only issue is that it takes forever to get one... We waited for about 12 minutes to get our treats So if your in a rush ..order online ahead of time .. Oh and they are not cheap !!! Either way ...I enjoyed my drink a lot Try for yourself read more
