I recently visited a friend out in Austin and I had to get my juice fix. Everyone recommended this place but I was a little skeptical it being a big franchise. But it was excellent, had a juice and shot of wheatgrass there and grab two cold pressed bottles for later. If I lived in this city, this would be my go to spot for juice. read more

Soul Boulder - so good! Gave me the idea to now add cinnamon to my own smoothies (paired with vanilla it tastes like a Teddy Graham). This just has so much goodness to it and in my opinion did not taste too sweet or too rich. One issue with this place is the prices. Some of the products are reasonably priced, but some are crazy. My 16 oz Soul Boulder, which I finished in about 10 minutes and I would not necessarily call a full meal replacement, was about $11. Thank goodness I had a half off coupon cause I personally would never pay that full price. If you are ready to foot that bill though, this place is delicious! read more

I worked in a smoothie stand in college, and I gotta say this place is a tad over-priced for what you get, quantity-wise. The menu is a little confusing, too many options. It's too small, cluttered, and a little dirty. The recipes are good, but the staff can sometimes be a bit unhelpful due to the fact that they are obviously college stoners. All in all, the only reason I frequent the place is it's proximity to Barton Springs. So it's only locational convinience that keeps me coming back. But on a hot day at the springs, sometimes you just want a Smoothie. The Hydrator with Watermelon juice is a favorite, as is the Home Run. Only get the smoothies with yogurt if you want to gain a million pounds and be gross. read more

Oh my god. They seriously have the best smoothies on this planet. I was in Austin for 4 days and I went to this gem 3 times. There are a few sprinkled around the city but the Barton Springs Rd. one was my spot. Super filling, super yummy and plenty of smoothie, fruit juices and shots to choose from. I am a huge smoothie person so I stuck with the smoothie all 3 visits. First, I fell in love with the Wundershowzen, so much I had it twice. It's made with almond milk, bananas, spinach, hemp protein and peanut butter. I love spinach and banana smoothies and the consistency was just right. It's super filling to and a large is about $8 which is NOT that bad. On the third visit, I had the Honey Beary smoothie. I was nervous it wouldn't compare to the Wundershowzen- but I was wrong- it was just as good. This one is made with peanut butter, bananas, blueberries, local honey and almond milk. It was delicious. If you are a smoothie addict and like FRESH juices and smoothies. COME HERE. read more

JuiceLand - Wundershowzen smoothie- THE BEST - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Austin, Texas

I usually love juice land but I was so disappointed yesterday when I came to this location. I got watermelon juice, expecting it to be cold and refreshing! But instead it was warm and hard to drink. It had a very strong taste of ginger was it supposed to have ginger? Or was it left over from the last drink they made? read more

Took so frickin long!!! Only go if you have an hour to kill for a smoothie. Decent smoothies, but not worth the wait

Juiceland is another creation by Matt Shook, the man who is at fault for bringing so much hippiness to the juice and smoothie scene in Austin. But, this one is my favorite; other institutions include Daily Juice and JuiceBox. This one really is all about the "secret ingredients." There is a barnyard worth of junk that I have never even heard of: camu camu, maca root, and ormus supergreens... just to name a few. They have a dang poster describing all of the various supplements and enhancers they offer. I went with the Soul Boulder. Mostly because I wanted one that pulled out all the stops. Though most of the flavor was overtaken by cacao, and the color was predominately blueberry, I really thought it was a well-crafted smoothie. Now, $8 for a small? Yikes. If you are a smoothie fanatic/explorer/experimenter/junkie, JuiceLand is definitely the most intense place you can go. Daily Juice is one health-driven joint, but JL takes it to a whole nother level. Check it out and feel revived. Maybe put some habanero with your coconut oil in the form of a drinkable, refreshing beverage! read more

staff - barely alive. Didn't acknowledge us when we walked in Saturday, didn't offer to help us choose. Most certainly didn't suggest that the drink my 11 year old ordered might 1 - be too big for her teeny tiny self, 2 - be better suited for more adult taste buds. Noreal problem there, she drank mine instead! smoothies - yummy! Chai tea and el paraiso rock! read more

I love this place for a few reasons. 1. I connect with my inner hipster during my visits. The smell of veggies. Cool and weird art. If you come in wearing wingtips, you leave wearing Converse. 2. The smoothies. Just out of control good and tasty. Come visit! read more

I was really having trouble deciding between 3 and 4 stars, but I am confident in my A-OK rating. Daily Juice has delicious smoothies with any ingredient you could want under the sun. They also have great juice concoctions and shots. In addition they have quite a bit of healthy snack foods in the store. The bad: 1. Parking is almost non existent save for 3 or 4 spots on the street. They do give a discount for bikers, which is a plus, but makes it difficult to stop by in your car. 2. Prices, I realize that their ingredients are good - but 8 dollars for a smoothy is a little much?? However, that doesn't keep me from having my subliminator fix...mmmm read more

Make your day and get a smoothie or juice! My favorites are the smoothies and I love a Lemon Ginger shot to cure just about anything :) The staff are so happy that I wish I could work there! The prices are not cheap, but I don't mind it because you are paying for high-quality ingredients, a biodegradable cup, and great location. Get a smoothie instead of a sandwich sort of pricing. Get a punch card and when you buy 10, you get $5 off your next order. read more

I seriously miss this place. I havent found a comparable juice bar YET in the city. Daily Juice offers MANY really healthy and unique options, as well as basic and yummy options. Just note that it is a health bar ( which is why its so fabulous in my book). After reading another review, I thought this might be important to highlight if youre bringing your kid and expect them to suggest something sweet and kid friendly. Ask about ingredients if youre unsure - in fact they have ALOT of information about the health benefits of each ingredient listed all around the shop on the walls and in books available for you to look at. They give a discount if you ride your bicycle! YES! This place is rad...*sigh sniff*. Will you open one in SF? Or inform me where to go..maybe in the mission somewhere i imagine. read more

I love my hometown. I don't need to tell you why: if you live here all you have to do is walk outside and look around... and if you don't, I'm sure you've heard the story from every damn media outlet over the last 15 years. Well anyway, we do a lot of drinking and carousing around these parts is what I am trying to say, and since nobody worth their salt wants to be a quitter, it's important to take specific countermeasures to the more decadent habits that stare us in the face on a daily basis here in our little paradise. Now, since it's been quite some time since my first rodeo, I have a whole eclectic mess of activities and remedies and methods for pushing the toxins through (to make room for more of course), but what we are focusing on here today people is fresh fruit and vegetable juice! And in particular, the offerings of the JuiceLand (note to other OG ATX peeps, it's the same ol' Daily Juice you know and love, but under a new name because of some legal blabbedy blah blah...). What is relatively new there however, is the Juice Cleanse program they have. Leilani Galvan, longtime staff member (and radiant bundle of light; the proof is in the pudding people, she and the rest of the staff in this place literally glow) has put together some insanely good tasting, and also effective combinations that will bring balance and purity once again to your craft beer-soaked and tobacco-infused temple. You and I both know your lazy ass is gonna do your own juicing about twice and then sell that annoying-to-clean thing on craigslist for half price, so why don't you just cut to the chase and leave the work to the hippies. Leilani knows what she is talking about and she has created a range of formulas to suit every palate and purpose, whether you like to Day Spa, drink Unicorn Blood, or whip ass with some Karate. Guess which one I chose. So yeah, order online, or call it in ahead. Or you can go down there and try a few things out of the grab-n-go case to figure out what you like before you pull the trigger on a whole gallon or three. Yes, they need a little lead time (day or two) to put together an order, and yes, you need to pick it up on the designated day and start drinking it right away (duh, it's fresh juice...). Ok, that's it, get down there already, jesus have you looked in the mirror lately? read more

I dream about this place. Maybe not, because I have the weirdest dreams that Freud couldn't even interpret, but I DEFINITELY have found myself perusing the menu online when I should be doing something else, so it's fair to say I daydream about this place. With my blender and juicer both broken at the same time, Juiceland has been a great (although expensive) way to fulfill my smoothie and fresh juice cravings. I love adding handfuls of spinach, kale, and flaxseed to all my smoothies, and I love that Juiceland has so many options for green drinks. My favorite so far has been the Bambata, a coconuty, banana-ey, spinach mouth orgasm. I really recommend it, especially if you are not a fan of the green (my roommate and best friend, a marathon runner, and probably one of the heatlhiest people I know, cringes at the sight of a spinach smoothie, but would enjoy this. I'm sure of it... I'll let you know when she finally tries it!) so it's a good way to branch out into Popeye's favorite veggie. Get a stamp card - every drink is a stamp, and 10 is $5 off a purchase. It's not as cool as getting a free drink, but it's a nice little discount. I'm excited to do a juice cleanse from here, especially since I had a low quality juicer and it would take me HOURS to prepare juice for a day. The people working here have always been super friendly, so I'm sure they'll be able to steer you in the right direction . read more

Just ordered from Juiceland on Barton springs for my first time ever. Was excited to try the acai bowls, and ordered 2 for online pickup. Wow, what a huge disappointment. While I dont claim to be an açaí bowl aficionado, I have had a couple from other places and enjoyed them. This açaí bowl was soooo runny, not very cold and was just a sloppy and expensive disappointment . They looked NOTHING like the pics btw. Cmon J-L I assume you can do better. read more

Delicious drinks - if you can afford it. When they were Daily Juice I would come in for a Curious George and add nut butter because it was the cheapest thing on the menu, but now it's gone and the prices are just too steep. However, if I feel like a smoothie splurge - they are certainly tasty and nutritious, but I can make my own with the same taste and for half the price. I would never be able to imitate their mouth-watering quinoa, though. Double rainbow, mexi-quinoa, curry quinoa - every single one is absolutely to die for. It's a pretty large portion and definitely worth the six dollars you pay for it. This is the only reason I go to JuiceLand! The staff don't stand out as superbly-friendly or anything, but I have never really been bothered by the service. Some of the girls kind of just look at you and ask what you want, I've also had a couple of bad attitudes when I went back in to fix a smoothie that was messed up, but nothing that would make me not come back. There are a couple of people there, though, who are exceptionally friendly and make the best damn smoothies! So if you just won a scratch-off and you're in the neighborhood itchin' for a healthy snack, definitely stop by JuiceLand (if you can find a parking spot.) ***In regards to Damon's one-star review below, this Daily Juice location actually changed to JuiceLand to avoid becoming part of the expanding franchise that Daily Juice is headed towards. I was asking some of the employees about this - and they said they wanted to stay local and Austinacious, as apparently Daily Juice has bigger plans, but I am just saying this by word of mouth, so who knows. read more

The service is always pretty great here - the cashiers always ask how my day is going or what I'm up to that day. The location is kind of small, and it can get packed pretty quickly. be prepared to wait 25 minutes assuming 1-2 people are in line. Order ahead or avoid.

This place turned me onto smoothies. I have never really liked smoothies because of the mouth feel but I would go here for the juice. Finally I tried the peachy green and I loved it. Now I rarely order juice and have branched out on my smoothies to the protein smoothies. My favorite smoothies to date. Peachy Green. TaTonka, GunShow, and Veggie Kingdom. I have wanted to try the Hulk but it has intimidated me for awhile. My favorite juice is the TigerLilly and I have been trying to get up the courage to try the Ninja Bachelor Party but I am not a fan of most savory juices. The peachy green is also really good if you add Hemp protein as well. It is the best way to start out and see if you like it before going further. The parking can be a bit tricky at times but what do you expect on Barton Springs? read more

After a long day of ACL Fest, my cousin and I stumbled upon this little nook... and I am in love! It's definitely a great pick-me-up during hot days. Shortly after my first sip of my smoothie, i asked my cousin if he could take me back here the next day... I wish they would have JuieLands in California! The place is reasonably priced and so healthy/hippy. I got the one with banana and peanut butter... mmhm. Delicious. I feel like all of them would be yummy =P Love the vibe in here, friendly staff, and neat decorations. read more

JUIIIIIICE LAND! I love Juiceland! I wish we had as many locations as Austin does in San Antonio. I wish we had just ONE Juiceland in San Antonio. PERIOD. There's so much to love about this chain. The location on Barton Springs is so cute and tiny. I have been very fortunate enough to only visit with limited to no clients in line unlike the other location near the airport. That place was a nightmare compared to this location. Love it anyway. It's a perfect ending to our Austin trip after leaving Barton Springs Pool. Cucumber, mint aquas fresquas on ice. YUM! I'll have to make my own until next time. But you don't have to take my word for it! read more

I absolutely love this Juiceland location!! It's always a joy to spot delicious and innovative cold-pressed juice joints that offer fresh greens. I bought the Cocolilly (lean, green, and awesome), Applelilly (a bit too sweet for me, far too much apple), and a shot of wheat grass. You can get a fresh juice on the spot or take out the bottled juices they have in the fridge. They also offer tons of nutritious green salads, smoothies, Vegan puddings, cleanses, t-shirts, protein bars, water, and tons of other healthy products. I particularly love this location because it has a cute outdoor area and is a great spot to hang out and enjoy your juice. They play awesome music and the staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is designated, but a bit sparse, albeit not impossible. I also like that they grade their juices and smoothies based on levels: Fresh & Easy; Next-Level; Even-Further. So anyone who doesn't want to get too hardcore with their juice can get something lighter or vice versa. They also offer nutritional supplements, taste makers, raw superfood drinks, and top shelf shots (try the Live Green-ade). If you love juice as much as I do, or you're curious about it and want to give it a try, Juiceland is the best place to explore your options. You just might become addicted. read more

Juice land is inconsistent at best with orders. I ordered 12 juices the night before for a cleanse my wife and I were doing. When I arrived to pick them up, 4 of the juices were not available because they were sold out. This after getting a text from them that my order was ready. Do not rely on juiceland if you are doing anything other than picking something up randomly. No professional. Deeply disappointed. read more

Loved this quaint place! The menu was easy to read and all the drinks were delicious. We came here for the first time on my trip to Austin and it was so good we went to another location for more juice. I had the fresh watermelon juice and then the peachy green. This is my go-to place for juices, smoothies, energy boosts. Picture a beautiful, hot day out at Zilker. You're soaking up the sun, playing sports, or just plain frolicking with your dog. What's this? You're thirsty, but not for water? Suddenly, you start craving something cold, fruity and refreshing! Well isn't this just serendipitous? There so happens to be this mystical land of cold, fruity and refreshing drinks just right down Barton Springs! JuiceLand has all sorts of varieties you can choose from. They've got power drinks with proteins, they've got juices, they've got fruit smoothies, dessert smoothies, veggie smoothies. I haven't asked yet, but I'll be you could even make your own (but they've got a huge variety of delicious concoctions, who would want to do that?)! If you've got a bit of a sweet tooth, might I recommend the Honey Bear? You might want to go medium-large on this one. It's AMAZING! Happy juicing :) read more

If I could bring anything back from Austin to the East Coast/ DC area it would no question be Juiceland. Everything here tastes incredibly fresh and every single drink has ingredients that blend perfectly together. This is my third stay in Austin and I'm always back at Juiceland ordering the bambaataa. I've tried other smoothies here that were equally as delicious but for some reason I can't find a smoothie anywhere in Austin or the east coast that is as satisfying as this one. This smoothie is the perfect blend of tangy and creamy. The pineapple juice base brings the tanginess where the spirulina adds a healthy and fresh taste. The almonds add a crucial creamy texture that is necessary for this smoothie. I've tried omitting the almonds from the blend but wasn't nearly as satisfied with the result. My boyfriend who doesn't like spirulina is also always ordering this smoothie. As for this Juiceland location: parking seems to be a bit limited but we've always seemed to find a spot in the lot. The location is extremely photogenic, theres a huge agave plant and a cute orange tree in the front. There isn't much room on the inside which might be why parking is always opening up but there is some outdoor seating on top and some nice benches outside to rest on. read more
