This review is to rectify a bad experience that I had a few weeks ago at this juice it up. I visited again on the owners request and left amazed at how clean the store is now and how it looks like a genuine Juice it up! After my negative review when the owner got back into town he promptly emailed me a response to offer me a replacement on my previous purchase and bad experience. I noticed that he had new alert and more than capable employees and the environment was very pleasant. The replacement drinks I received were awesome and I'm informing everyone else that has had a bad experience here to give this Juice it up another try because the owner is a great guy and knows how to treat his customers. I'm in San Clemente visiting family, we come here every summer. Today was my first time at juice it up! The açaí bowl was DELICIOUS! Also had a a strawberry smoothie and that was sooooo good! My daughter is 3 and she really enjoyed the smoothie as well! Prices were what I expected, but with using fresh ingredients you know what you're getting. They had good outdoor seating, my dog was with me and he had a nice shady spot to rest while I enjoyed my smoothie and açaí bowl. Clean and easy to park :) We will be visiting this place every time we come to town. read more

I just had the most unfortunate encounters at this juice bar. I went in and asked for a custom smoothie with specific ingredients - kale, spinach, cucumber, half apple, lemon and ginger. The young man behind the counter (looked like a high school kid) asked if I was sure I didn't want a juice. I said no, I want a smoothie. He asked for a size, I said large and then paid. After about 1-2 minutes, a few other patrons walked in and I noticed they got their orders filled before mine. I then asked where my order was and they ended up making a large juice. They insisted that this was what I had ordered! After they agreed to remake ( no apologies offered mind you) I watched them and became completely turned off as they kept blending, pouring into the cup and repouring. It just looked gross. They had no idea what they were doing. Quite frankly, they both seemed high to me. I've been coming here for the last 2 years and while I'm sad that I now have to drive farther for my smoothie, I have no intentions of ever patronizing this place again. read more

The place was a HUGE mess. If you look at the bar area theres old crumbs and old fruit everywhere.. the floors were gross, next to the register is disgusting! Not to mention The man that took my order reaked of Marijuana, which i did not like considering i bring my children with me here! I always order the raw fusion or dextoifer. But of course they had no produce to do any of those.. so i had to get an evergreen and i asked for no sherbert and asked for greek yogurt instead. And im pretty sure i still got the lime sherbet in it... This place used to be really nice and recently it has gone down hill so bad. My experience today was terrible. And i asked for a receipt and i never got one and when i asked for one they told me they dont know how to use their new computer. I dont think ill be back here for a while... read more

I've been coming here regularly since I was 10. I've lived up the street forever and have always brought my business here. I've spent hundreds (probably thousands after 13 years) and I'm pretty bummed. My smoothies are so inconsistent now with the young kids that work there. Today I order a Red fusion, got the green RAW fusion, which I had to Pay $9 for something I didn't want or like. I told her it wasn't what I ordered and she said sorry, asked if I wanted it remade, but I'm obviously on the go considering I call in my order daily. I don't have time to wait for that kinda stuff. Wasn't offered any other compensation. I hope a manager reaches out to me because I'll just have to continue my business elsewhere /: not what I want to do as a loyal customer, but it's been several times of issues now... Took awhile to hear back from anyone, so I slowly stopped coming as often. Went back in today for a pitaya smoothie I've been craving. Karina reached out when I got their and took care of my smoothie AND muffin for me! She expressed how sorry they were, anyways their customer service is absolutely great once I'm in the store. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. We went there for the first time and decided to order a fresh mix of carrot and orange juice. I wouldn't really call it fresh since we saw them pour orange juice that was already squeezed and not refrigerated for who knows how long. Then, we noticed that one of the workers was hiding the carrots from view. We asked to see them and saw that they were moldy and black. He had been putting them in the juice! We asked for our money back but the rude worker didn't give it back. AND instead of throwing the bad juice away, the worker washed 5 or 6 carrots and added them to the juice to make it look better. The juice was terrible, Their hygiene bad, and their customer service was also very bad. This place is a complete rip-off. I wouldn't ever recommend going to this place!!! read more

I've always liked this place but I have to give it 2 stars due to my last visit. It was a disappointing experience. We went on Sunday around 1pm. We left 20 minutes later as they were understaffed and the two guys working there were not being efficient. They were disorganized and did not have a good attitude. The cashier seemed annoyed and frustrated and was not trying to hide it from the customers. They were making the juices in the wrong order so people that arrived later were receiving their juices first. They did not have lids for the juices so they took some from chipotle next door (really?! At least don't tell your customers that). Overall, really bad experience today. read more
