First time I came to this location there were two young girls working the night shift and messing around like it was a high school play yard. Time passes and I decided to give this placed another shot and since its close to my younger brother's house. I placed a mobile order on 12/9. I have never had a bad experience here at this location. The only dilemma is deciding which drink to choose from. So far, my husband and I have tried all of the choices and by far, the luckiest drink is the "Lava Flow". I think it's because it reminds us of a Big Stick popsicle that we used to have as a child. This is not the best juice it up, the bowl was alright, though not even full and super sparse on the toppings, barley any granola at all. What makes it worse is that there was so much left in the blender, I asked the girl that made what they did with all the extra, she said they had to throw it out. Then why not just fill the bowl? I've been coming to this place since I was little. And I continue to come here because they make their smoothies right. I would bring my little cousins here after school all the time because they love it so much. However, today I never felt more disappointed. As a loyal customer and the owner knows who I am, I felt like the situation wasn't handled as well as it could have been. They made us wait for our smoothies and they said they called us and we waited a long time for our smoothies. They just set them on the counter near the register? Like how are we supposed to know it's ready. We would have heard our smoothies being called if they really did call us. And mind you, there were two workers who saw us waiting there. Like doesn't that ring a bell? Why are these customers waiting? Are they waiting for their drinks? OBVIOUSLY. The owner finally noticed that the people who ordered after us got their drinks and we didn't he said "oh your drinks are here" and I was obviously pissed because now our smoothies are watered down and melted and not as good as they usually are. Total waste of money. I'm pretty sure we aren't coming back because he didn't even apologize. That's the thing. Lucy was great and recommended the store popular Açaí Bowl which I already forgot the name of and also recommended her favorite toppings while I selected my choice of fruit. Well, I love this place but today I went in and one girl I dont remember seeing there before, had a huge attitude. I walked in and one other girl was waiting for her smoothie. I stood there for a couple minutes before the nicer girl who I've seen before asked for my order. The other girl was right by me while I waited and completely ignored me. Then she had to make my drink. At this time it was just me there and shes slamming everything. She slammed the pitcher onto the blender and slammed it shut, huffing and puffing, rolling her eyes. I was sitting down watching her. Usually they call out the smoothie order and say thank you, or have a good day....whatever. she slammed my drink down, tossed a straw on the counter and stomps away. Not one word. I work in retail and you cannot act like a an entitled child when helping guests. I dont know what her attitude problem was but it was not a pleasant experience and makes me want to drive a bit further to Jamba juice or that smoothie place off valley view next to round table pizza. The only gripe is that I'd like to see a little less chest hair when I order. As a guy, I'm cool with it. I can appreciate that it was a warm day and a few buttons need to be loosened, but I'm not so sure that other folk would empathize so readily. I love Juice It Up and have gone to many locations, but this location is by far the worst out of all of them. The place was not inviting, the energy was heavy and complacent and the customer service was non-existent. I am surprise they get any business! The older brunette gentlemen with the beard and the cashier girl did not look like they care to be there, they did not greet me and did not care to see if they could help, I felt like they were secretly hoping the place could go out of business so they can never have to serve another customer again. It also seems like they skimp on the products and did not even have straws and napkins readily accessible. It's something they give you from inside if you ask. My advice would be to get rid of the grumpy man and hire fresh new faces who can exude better energy and customer service. Never ever coming here again. I'm probably the only person around who loves the Banana-rama smoothie at Juice It Up. One day, I'll bump into someone else that adores pure banana smoothies and we'll be a perfect match. But it's more than the banana-ramas that make this branch my favorite Juice It Up, and way better than Jamba. The manager/owner is super friendly. I don't remember his employees well enough to comment on them, but the owner is very nice. He recognizes regulars and remembers things about them, like what they do for a living, what's going on in their lives, etc. He's also always trying to find ways to offer discounts and deals to customers through promotional events. The smoothies themselves are creamy, as most Juice it ups, as opposed to Jambas, which are more icy and thick. This is one of those reviews where you wish you could leave zero stars. Let's start off by saying the two employees seemed completely overwhelmed and unorganized. I wouldn't say they were busy, there were about 3 other customers besides myself. They were messing up drinks all over the place. Several times they took drinks off the counter after completed and dumped them back in the blender, added ice, and served them again. Which resulted in watered down smoothies. I watched a young employee with 3 inch acrylic nails struggle to make drinks because she couldn't grip anything properly which was definitely slowing them down. I watched her drop the lid to a blender because she couldn't grip it. At one point she went to grab a straw and spilled a bunch all over the counter. Not to mention how unsanitary it is to have nails that long when your preparing drinks for people especially with COVID as a huge concern for most customers. The fact that management is allowing her to work with those nails is unacceptable and against the health code. There was miscommunication going on because at one point they tried to give one of my drinks alway to another customer after telling me it was mine. Then taking it back and returning with 3 smoothies. One we never ordered. The 2 smoothies were missing the boost we ordered and when they refunded us for the 3rd drink they gave us back cash for just the price of the smoothie not including the tax we were charged.
