    Nice selection of wines

I love wine but I'm not a wine connoisseur. This place takes the guesswork out of choosing a good inexpensive bottle in no time. I never feel overwhelmed and pretty much every bottle we've bought here was delightful. We used to live in the neighborhood but even though we moved we still go back often to stock up on bottles. I'm always discovering new wines here that I've never heard of but that quickly become favorites. I also really enjoy their ever changing store front decor and right now they have a wonderful stock of Rosé wines for the summer.

A great alcohol store with a lot of variety. The selection of wines and booze here is very unique. I have found some really interesting drinks here, especially cremes from South Africa. This is definitely my go to place if I wanted to get a really nice drink for a special occasion.

Quaint Wine Boutique in Windsor Terrace I went in to restock my wine collection but I was unable to find any of my favorite wine's. I asked if they carried the naked grape or once upon a vine and the attendant had never even heard of the brands. I thought that was a little odd. Especially since I am no wine snob. Maybe that was the problem? They boast a grand selection of boxed wines but I was very underwhelmed by their selection. Perhaps the selection was a tad to eclectic for my palate.

I'm a fan. Nice selection, friendly people, good prices. Wish it was closer to Flatbush.

Luckily I can say I haven't been treated as poorly as I was when I tried to shop at this wine shop this morning in a very very long time.

It has a 90s bar flair with about 4 booths, and 3 tables. Theres more seating in the back outdoor but it was closed, so its very spacious but was full bc of the holiday. I shared the mezcal mai tai which was super strong and tried my friends' tequila swizzle which was lighter. I then opted to get the apple sangaree, I highly recommend this drink it was too good. Happy hour is 4-7 Monday to Friday btw. You get a $1 off of drinks (normally $12-14) or $11 frozen, sangrias and daiquiris.

Nonetheless, I made the most of it. I was surprised by how packed the place was despite the tropical storm outside. I was immediately greeted, as I arrived before my two friends. I decided to have a painkiller while I waited for them and a table to possibly open up (one finally did after about an hour) the staffers here were awesome. Very friendly, cordial and eager to answer any and all questions. The drinks were cool, too. I had both a Painkiller and Mai Tai; my sole complaint was the nachos, they were horrible. My final regret was the weather, which prevented us from sitting out back. However, I'd definitely return here before the summer is out!

Let's start with the good - the service and ambiance were on point. I went on a Sunday evening around 7pm. It was busy inside, but since I was a solo diner I was seated immediately by the bar. The servers were friendly and attentive. Probably 3-4 different people checked in multiple times throughout the meal. Where I struggle is with the actual burger itself. As a non-resident New Yorker, for me $22.50 is a lot to spend on a burger and fries. It needs to rock my world at that price point. And it just didn't. I got the B&B Burger. The onion ring tasted like it had been refried a second time to make my burger. The bread was crumbly like it was on the verge of going stale. The actual beef patty itself was decent - good flavor. Usually I can overlook an okay burger if the fries are top notch, but these fries were under-seasoned and also 'just okay'. I also got a side of Chicken Tenders. These were good - no complaints here. I really wanted to like this spot, but not sure this would be a return visit for me.

As I said before, this is a community spot. Everyone here is relaxed, having a long, leisurely, European style meal. I had a small board, chef's choice. I requested a fromage board, but got a charcuterie board . . . and that's okay, as I was lucky enough to get some tasty prosciutto. The cheeses ranged from chunky and savory to creamy to tangy. Went great with the honey and French bread. Most menu cocktails are average, but there is an "off the menu" selection you can ask for (mostly bourbon based, owner/bar tender creations). I enjoyed working with my server to get try some more unique choices. Between the charcuterie board, the bourbon drinks, and the boeuf bourguignon, the meal was great. I will say the boeuf bourguignon wasn't quite as wowing as last time . . . no pearl onions or carrots . . . but still good. I'm pretty sure the menu has changed or is maybe smaller. But no matter . . . the mood and the welcoming atmosphere and lack of crowds makes up for this. I think I might return and try the French onion soup. I'm sure it's killer.

Our waitress came over to check on us numerous times throughout dinner. The foie gras was under seasoned and didn't taste like much of anything. Both the beef and chicken were very homey dishes but yet again, under seasoned. The mashed potatoes could use more butter and some salt in the food would've made all the difference. The place itself is pretty cute with a lot of local artwork. We probably won't be back
