We went to Cancun this past weekend and wanted something outside the resort. We walked around the mall on hotel row and found this gem. We went two days in a row and they have an issue with consistent product. The first day we went, the food great. The second day not so much. They have good breakfast deal. We had fruit, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. All great. I ordered the omelette with shrimp. I also had hash browns that were cooked perfectly the first day. When we came back the hash browns were barely cooked. My boyfriend had pancakes both days and he loved them. The best experience was that dolphin shows were on site. Overall good experience. What a lovely hidden gem! Went here twice. First time we had their lunch menu and got the ceviche, fried pork and guacamole, aguachile, and tostadas! All were great! Tostadas were okay. I personally don't like mayo mixture in my seafood. Their breakfast was delicious! We got the oaxaquena fried eggs and hot cakes with side of coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. The restaurant is in an aquarium so you get to enjoy eating and watching the dolphins putting on a show and not only that but when you go to the restrooms, you'd be surprised walking by a huge aquarium with live fish! Our family really enjoyed dining here during our vacation. We were seated right next to the dolphins, and the little ones had a great view of them the entire time. I have been there before and their breakfasts are very good. It's a nice quiet place with a dolphin show. I have eaten there multiple times and never had a problem, until now.. I ordered the steamed peel and eat shrimp and they were awful. They were overcooked, mushy, the heads had already fallen off, and the black string of entrails had not been cleaned.. honestly it was probably the worst shrimp meal I have ever been served and I tried one or two and pushed it away. Awful. I had the queso Fondo with poblano's, and that was just fine! I had breakfast there yesterday and the egg dish was absolutely delicious as I watched the dolphin show. I took my daughter to this restaurant almost 20 years ago and it was one of my favorite memories.. she swam with the dolphins and she will never forget that and neither will I. Loved stumbling upon this place having lunch here. We had no idea we could see the dolphins while having lunch. We were sat on the little strip that goes over the dolphin tank and we're able to watch them the whole time. And then the aquarium brought out a sea lion too. The food was good. Jacinto was a gem of a server and made our time there so enjoyable: friendly, very attentive, accommodating. He made recommendations based on dietary needs that weren't obvious on the menu. We had a beautiful view of the dolphins and the lagoon, able to see people on the water. My husband loves his food: beans with pork and eggs; I don't recall the name. We found this place on our last morning in Cancun, by searching on Yelp for breakfast. We already knew where it was but were a little nervous about the $$$ rating. It isn't *that* expensive. I promise. At least not for breakfast. They have a breakfast deal for $181 pesos (currently about $12) that gets you juice, coffee, fresh fruit, toast, and your breakfast meal of choice. That's actually kind of a great deal! And it doesn't hurt that it was also one of the best meals we had during our entire vacation! I got the chilaquiles (best description is breakfast nachos) and also sampled several of my friends' food choices as well. It was all delicious! The restaurant looks out over the dolphin tank of the aquarium where you can see them swimming and jumping and people swimming with them. You can also see in to a shark tank on the way to the bathroom. AND free WiFi. The whole experience was wonderful! Highly recommended, especially if your hotel isn't all-inclusive. Great place for a Mexican style breakfast which includes fresh fruit and coffee or juice. It is located in the Liverpool shopping mall and its seating overlooks dolphins swimming as well as the area where people are swimming with dolphins. There were several seating options with great views. In many respects, it was one of the things that contributed to an over the top dining experience. I don't know how this place got such great reviews. The only thing it has going for it is that you can see the dolphins playing or the sharks in the aquarium. This is great for kids, especially if you do to want to pay the aquarium fees. The food however is not that great. I was craving aguachile and they had it, so I got suckered in to going in. The aguachile was not good at all!! If you're from L.A it taste like those churritos the street vendors sell that are doused with chili and lemon. Not good at all. This restaurant was great. The atmosphere was wonderful. My husband and I enjoyed watching the dolphins swim by as we ate dinner. And at the end of the meal they informed us that the tip was already included, unlike Baby Lobster (where we went the following night) who not only did not inform us a that a 20% tip was included by also ASKED for an additional tip. It looks as touristy as can be, but the food was surprisingly good. Nice lite burritos and other dishes. There are a few cheese dip options that would be great for kids which essentially are pizzas with no crust and sauce and chips on the side. There are also a few vegan and vegetarian options which are hard to come by at times when traveling. A nice soy and vegetable mix paired with tortillas. Chips and salsa come with two types of salsa. Add a cold coke and hand squeeze in your own fresh lime juice. This place is open from morning to evening with no reservations needed. The servers are quick, friendly, and ready to answer questions concerning food preparation. Maybe the best part of the whole deal is that you can get a fantastic view of the dolphin view. While people pay good money to participate or watch the show, it is all included in the price of your meal. The meal prices are very reasonable. We ate here several times during our trip. Certainly not a real authentic feel being a part of the aquarium, but it is perfect for families, people with food allergies, or anyone that enjoys watching dolphins while they eat. read more

This unique Mexican restaurant is located in the La Isla Mall compound. Its has an aquarium and interestingly, we got to see dolphins swimming and jumping while we were having dinner as the restaurant seats above part of the aquarium. The host was very friendly and the waiter and servers gave excellent, fast service. Everything we ordered here was very tasteful and well presented, from the appetizer, the main dishes to the cocktail drinks! Food prices here are on the higher end compared to other restaurants in the area but is worth it. I had a very memorable dinner experience at Jugo de Limon. Because of this awesome deal, we of course returned here on a second vacation to Cancun. My favorite dish on their breakfast list are their Chilequilles (I know, I spelled that all kinds of wrong). Most of the tables look out over the dolphin experience enclosure at the aquarium next door, so you can watch them swim. You can check out a shark tank near the bathrooms. Oh yeah, and free WiFi. The atmosphere was great for the kids - they enjoyed the Dolphins during dinner. We were able to move our reservation up 1 hour and still received a great table. Now for Eric our waiter, he never introduced himself, didn't bring chips and salsa until we asked, and then had to ask for the fresh limes as well...since all other tables around us had this brought to them by their waiters. He wasn't the friendliest and did not understand our order. We ordered two chicken burritos, vegetarian fajitas and beef fajitas. Then one of my boys ordered a hamburger cooked medium, it came out well done - but he just ate it. Then the other ordered a steak cooked medium rare, it came out well done, we asked for it to be taken back as he asked for medium rare, Eric came by 5 minutes later with the same steak was cooked more???? We again tired to explain what medium rare is to the waiter and manager and he said we will take care of it, 5 minutes later they come back with the same steak cooked to a crisp! What??? We again stated you can not make a medium rare steak out of the same steak - we want it pink, barely cooked! Finally after waiting 20 minutes they brought out a new steak cooked medium!?! He ate it at this point as every one else was done eating and our dishes were picked up. He ate alone! No I am sorry for misunderstanding at all. Eric the waiter never came back over at all until we finally got his attention to bring us our check over 30 minutes later. We had to pay for their multiple mistakes and they added the tip without even asking us. The manger asked when we were leaving "Everything was Good?" And we replied just "so-so" he then asked why and we told him - we had to ask for everything, Eric never came back to the table after his multiple mistakes, no one could cook the steak or hamburger correctly, after 20 minute wait to get the steak and a 30 minute wait for the check with an added tip - we were done! The manager a that point gave us back the tip that was added on for service recovery! We did inform him that we would not be back! FYI- the fajitas and burritos tasted good. read more

Over price and medium quality food. Had the grilled mahi-mahi and my wife had the seafood soup. Ok taste but what I don't like about the restaurant is it right next to the dolphin aquarium.
