In addition to the customizable sandwich offerings, they also offer a large array of prepared foods such as brussels sprouts, salads, poultry and fish. Do you have peanut butter cookies? No. What are these, I asked while holding up a plastic container of peanut butter cookies. Girl behind counter shrugs. Can I get extra bacon on my BLT? No answer, just a sleepy stare. Note to self: make your own sandwich. Bought a packaged "Judith's Kitchen" decadent sugar cookie (cloyingly, inedibly sweet) and a chocolate chunk cookie (worst cookie ever--you would have to work to make a cookie that was this dry and bad tasting). I asked for a little bag, three times, and another employee distractedly distractedly reaches for a bag with grease stains on it and misses the opening twice when she attempts to put my cookies in it. The cookies and these two young women are not going to be setting the world on fire, any time soon. And I'm out almost $5 for cookies that are now sitting in the trash. read more

Cute little shop selling delicious prepared food, bread, and wine. I went in on a Friday night and got half a pound of grill steak, some sweet potato salad and some kale salad to go. The total was about $11, which I thought was very reasonably given the quality and the quantity. I enjoyed a very nice (and pretty healthy) meal at home without going through the hassle of cooking and cleaning in the hot summer! Very satisfied! Judith's kitchen might be my go to place for good prepared food when I don't want to cook. read more

I've only gotten a few things from here but been many times. The food is really good but I think the prices went up. I paid $14 for a large iced tea and a breakfast wrap to go which is INSANE. I used to pay $10 which was fine but the iced tea is filled to the brim a ice so sorry but $6 for frozen water and a half cup of tea? No thanks. Unfortunately I think my visits have ended. read more

I purchased a sticky bun from there to go. I got home less than 10 minutes later to "enjoy" my treat and it was rock hard. It was NOT JUST over cooked but stale. When I called and spoke with the manager she told me they just got that item delivered this morning from a vendor. No apologizes or compensation offered. I had to throw it out, it was really inedible. Now tell me, why would I ever go back there? I used to stop there for coffee break but a friend's experience with bad coffee n service kept us from returning. should not have given them another chance. read more

I'm a big fan of their sandwich bar - they can make whatever you want. I've made one with their chicken salad and it was amazing. This place also has pre-made soups, breakfast items, (muffins/biscotti) rotisserie chicken to go, beer/wine, desserts, and more! Great food, great drinks, amazing service. A great place to stop and grab good quality food when you're on the go, not a sit down place but there are tables. Fair pricing. I stop by here in the mornings before catching my train, to grab a coffee. The two women who work mornings are so kind and helpful. I wouldn't stop at the place next door for a free coffee, IMHO they are that good. Coffee is in a drum, good quality. Pastries are solid. Deli food is always fresh, very tasty, and at a good price. Judith's Kitchen (JK) has been a great addition to our neighborhood. While as a long-time customer of Keltic Krust I was saddened by its closing, I was looking forward to JK's opening in 2015. After seeing how they renovated the place, the team behind it and their offering, I've been rooting for their success and have visited regularly since. In a nutshell, the food at Judith's is excellent, whether we are talking about my regular favorites (grilled salmon, fresh turkey breast, grilled chicken, flank steak) or my less-frequent favorites (typically vegetables, which she always finds a way to make delicious via grilling and tasty creations/combinations). Now, no food review of JK would be complete without mentioning chicken salad, in "standard" form or curried. The latter is, to me, a must have. There is more, of course, and I've never regretted experimenting, but these are my go-tos. This year, we got most of our Thanksgiving dinner from JK. Having had JK's turkey breast regularly for well over a year, I can say that Judith knows how to make a turkey. After warming up our Thanksgiving turkey for 30 minutes (as Judith instructed us upon pick-up) it came out perfectly, so much so that while the gravy was a nice addition, I didn't need to use much, as the meat was fairly tender and juicy (for turkey, that is!). The green beans with mushrooms were perfectly seasoned, as were the brussel sprouts and sautéed spinach we also got. We skipped everything else (made some other sides at home), but I surely was tempted by the looks of the stuffing and sweet potatoes in the display case. Bottom line: these are great "home-cooked" meals, prices are very reasonable (IMHO), and Judith and her team are genuinely nice and accommodating when we visit. read more

I have been here a few times for the sandwiches. The food is definitely good, and the place is very clean and well kept. I guess my only gripe is that the consistency isn't the greatest. She has a bunch of people who don't speak English prepping the food and it seems like they were not trained very well. For example one of the times I went there my wrap was flattened and cut so diagonally it just fell apart when I tried to pick it up. It was almost like the cut the wrap lengthwise. Another time I ordered wheat bread and got a wrap. I think she just needs to train her staff better. read more

I decided to splurge on lunch because after work i'm going to my second job so I won't be able to eat for awhile. I decided to go to Judith's because while overpriced their sandwiches are fresh and yummy. Well that didn't work out so well. They messed up my sandwich for the second time in the 3 times I've been there and I couldn't eat it. Spending $10 on a sandwich that I can't eat makes me sick not to mention i'll be starving at work. Word of advice...check your sandwich before you leave the shop or you may get a rude surprise. If they do care enough to make your sandwich right...you're one of the lucky ones. read more

I really really want to like this place I've worked in the area for a little over 2 years and don't eat lunch out often but want to frequent the local spots when I do unfortunately I've been disappointed the handful of times I've tried their food recently a chicken salad sandwich was soggy and frankly became inedible when it fell apart (all I asked for were pickles and lettuce) The coffee is quite good but the scones are too big and not that tasty oh well the wine selection looks awesome perhaps I will pick up a bottle for home next time read more

Now that I've been there more often, I'm starting to find that Judith's Kitchen is a little bit hit-or-miss. I've gotten really good sandwiches but then I've gotten some that I didn't really like - the ratios of meat-to-cheese were off or they were dry. The sandwich-ordering process can be a little awkward when it's busy...no good place to stand and wait while they make your sandwich, and it can take a while. Today I went in for a muffin and an iced tea. The muffin was just so-so and the iced tea was terrible. It tasted like it had been sitting in a plastic jug for a week - a very plasticky, watery flavor. Better off walking up to L'Aroma for iced tea. Mixed reviews from my family on the scones. I've had their other baked goods (a few types of cookies) and they were very good. I've also had some of the prepared foods and some of it has been pretty good, but not all. For instance, I got a some lasagna and when I got home I discovered it had corn in it. Corn wasn't listed on the ingredients and I feel like it didn't really go well with the lasagna, my husband couldn't have any because of a corn allergy, and my kid wouldn't try it because of the corn. read more

You cannot get better service than at Judith's kitchen. They are absolutely fantastic, and they are so friendly, you feel like you are hanging out with your family. Their food is made fresh in house, in fact I'm watching her make some right now. You will not find fresher ingredients. I used to own a catering company, so it is very hard for me to find things that I consider as good as what I can make myself. Many of the items they have here are as good as what I can make. Was really excited to try Judith's Kitchen. It is nicely decorated, airy, with tables and a counter to sit at by the window. They serve a variety of foods--muffins, scones, sandwiches, salads, soups, and even beer and specialty cookies etc. Wanted to check it out a few times before writing a review. I like how easy it is to order a sandwich. You check off exactly what you want and place your order. Lots of options. Their bread is delicious and ingredients fresh. My only issue is that they weren't consistent. First time my sandwich was great--I ordered a hummus sandwich with veggies. Not a lot of hummus but a lot of veggies to make up for it which was ok with me. The second time I barely had any hummus or veggies. Total bummer. I'll try a sandwich again--for the price they have to beef it up! My friend got a wrap and felt the same. Have had their carrot slaw and artichoke salad which was delicious, as was their chocolate chip cookie. Muffin and scone was just ok. Wish they had vegan cookies or desserts--that would be great to see in a specialty place such as this. read more
