Finding the location wasn't straightforward since I was well off a named road, but Brenan Towing Rescue managed to locate me using the GPS coordinates I read off my phone without asking me to navigate to them anywhere. The recovery operator walked the area before setting up anything, chose an anchor point on stable ground well away from the soft edge, and used a tree strap at the anchor to protect the bark. The winch pull was slow and steady -- not a single sharp jerk that would have stressed the rear axle or bumper. Once the vehicle was free and back on solid ground, he walked underneath with me to inspect for any contact damage before I drove off. Nothing to report. The charge was fair for the type and location of the recovery, and it was disclosed before work started."

I was quoted $200 which was $25 more expensive than when I had the same service done a year ago but I thought that was still reasonable. When my vehicle was delivered to my home, I was charged $300. Of course, my delivery person couldn't do anything for me at the time, but suggested that I call the office to discuss this issue. When I called, I spoke with Alexis and was told the price I was charged was the "industry standard" and there was nothing she could do. I tried telling Alexis what I was quoted and questioned why the person who booked me (which I believe was Alexis herself, but I didn't write her name down so I have no proof) didn't write down what she quoted me? However, trying to get a word in edgewise with her, was near impossible! I asked to speak to someone above her and was told that she would "write a note and pass on my request and if the person felt it was warranted, I might get a call back". She finally said that she would refund my $100 because "clearly it means more to me than it does to her" and that she "doesn't need my $100". I then told her that I still would like a call back from her supervisor or the owner and was again told "if they wanted to, they will call me back". Let me end this review on a good note, though. My delivery driver was Jess and she was FANTASTIC! Very professional and very helpful! I would give her 5 stars in a heartbeat!

This towing company is nothing short of predatory and completely unprofessional. They went against…read moretheir own policy, refusing to accept a simple drop-off fee, and towed the car anyway -- because apparently fairness and following your own rules are optional. They constantly drive around the apartment complex like vultures, picking off cars with zero warning, zero notice, and zero chance for owners to move their vehicles. There's no communication, no courtesy, just pure opportunism. Blink, and your car is gone -- and they don't care about the stress, inconvenience, or cost they leave behind. If you value decency, transparency, or basic human consideration, avoid this company like the plague. They operate like it's a game of "how fast can we tow before someone notices," and the residents always lose. This is not towing; it's harassment with a tow truck.
