My BFs truck has been out of commission and he's been unable to fix it so he called his insurance which he has towing on his policy and A & A towing had a truck out to our house within an hour!! The driver was friendly and obviously was good at his job and had the truck strapped onto the flatbed in no time and took it to the automotive shop that was chosen with no incidents. Requested a tow through Geico Called the front desk at 12 with an estimated arrival of 1pm. She Was a bit rude in the first call but i paid no mind. Called at 1:15pm again for an eta and the front lady was extremely rude again, stating that i didnt call her and that it would be 30 more minutes. I mentioned that i was not trying to argue and that i have records that i did call her at 12 and she rudley said "no you didnt, you're going to have to call Geico and request another tow" Would not reccomend this business or maybe its just the bitter front desk lady. read more

A friend of mine had her car impounded by these guys, she had just bought it a week prior, had it delivered to her house, so it wasn't registered to her, all we had was he bill of sale from the dealer. Around 10 am, and driving around looking for her vehicle, we ended up calling Sparks Police to see if it has been impounded, they notified us it was with A&A and gave me their number. I called the number and it went straight to "Were sorry this Number is not working, Goodbye! " And hung up. I tried googling them, we even drove by their "office" on fourth street where there were literally people living in the vehicles that were completely totaled on the property, there was a sign but no office sign to show where the entrance was. I called the number several more times within 2 hours and I still was receiving the same message. I called the A&A in Carson aswell and it also gave me that message. I messaged them on Facebook, emailed them every sort of contact possible. I tried calling again around 3:00 and it actually rang, I spoke to someone who told me it was only going to be $478.29 if we get there before 4pm, if we go in tomorrow it will be $55 more. The lady also told me I needed my driver's license. That was it. She didn't mention a title or a registration, or a moving permit. She said she wo you ld text me the address and to let her know 45 minutes prior to our arrival. We let her know ahead of time, and had my friends license, and we had to drive out past the JCPenny warehouse in stead to a random lot, with multiple buisnesses using it, no signs of where the impound section was, so we mistakenly got out early, and a very kind man guided us to where we were supposed to go. And he told us to please have patience with them. We got to the car, handed her the drivers license then she mentioned we needed some sort of proof of ownership, and she said the bill of sale isn't okay, and a moving permit would do. As long as it's under her name, thankfully you can do those on the dmv's website instantly. Then the price went up to 570? Frustrated, at this point but willing to pay whatever my friend paid for it. The woman called the tow truck driver because there was no way to get my friends car out because it was blocked by several small cars that were totaled, or she didn't have the keys. I left my friend and her husband there, she said for about an hour a half before the guy even showed.... It seems to me that this Towing place could probably help you in a pinch,.as long as their phone service was connected.... read more

Unfortunately this AM our Audi A6 had an ECU warning light displayed. I attempted my best to get her driving down the road however I had to abandon ship, the dash advised to not go over 1500 RPMs. Investigation revealed from the wifey, she had been racing some Honda car club on the I580...at least she won!!! Got in touch with A&A towing over the phone. I voiced my concern about my wifeys supercharged baby and a low front bumper. A&A sent Marty to help me. Marty called just before he arrived and told me he's the guy who handles the exotic pickups. Don't get confused this Audi A6 is no Lambo but it's still legit. Through my insurance, this company came to tow the car. Tow truck driver was fine, solid dude. Office said they were charging me 10$, which was then changed to 20$ due to the cost being over my insurance payment. They ended up charging me 95$ on top of the 70$ my insurance gave them without telling me. I asked for an itemized receipt and see the attached photo. Comical how this business is ran. He attempted to haul car down to Reno Toyota. Fine then, but how did this happen? See photo. Tire had to be crushed flat to cause that kind of damage. Like a fool, I got stuck in the snow the other, so I called AAA to pull me out. The woman on the phone said they would contact the nearest tow truck. I received a call from the driver about 15 minutes later. He asked how far off pavement my truck was, which was about 40 feet. He said the cable on his truck might reach that far but that he couldn't drive off pavement. He said he would call his boss to see if he could get a more aggressive vehicle and then call me back. I waited 1.5 hours for the return call, only to find that they couldn't help me and that I would have to find a local towing company. That's when I called A&A Towing. The woman on the phone was very responsive, explaining in great detail what to expect, quoting me a price, and letting me know that it might cost more if the situation was trickier than I described. About 15 minutes later, I received a call from the driver who gave me an estimate on the time he would arrive. When he showed up, he assessed the situation from all angles, lay down in the snow to look under my truck, took his time to make sure everything would work properly, and successfully pulled my truck out of the snow. The entire process from the initial phone call to the extrication from the snow took much less time than the basic communication with AAA. Thanks, you guys. read more

Garbage tow service. There is a reason why they have so many 1 star reviews with similar reviews to mine. They were dispatched a call to jump my car. I was advised a 1 hour ETA. Then an additional 45 minute ETA. And then after 2 hours I called multiple times to get an update and they weren't answering anymore despite it being a 24 hour service. After 4 hours I had to use another tow service (All Points Towing) who was excellent on communication and arrived in under 30 minutes, so I would highly recommend them instead of this company. I was thrilled when the CHP was able to get A&A towing to retrieve my vehicle, which nearly went down a ditch, late on a Thursday evening. The two drivers did a great job retrieving my vehicle, without any damage. The bad part came when they didn't tow my car for service, as promised, on Friday morning. I called every day and they didn't get my vehicle to the shop until Monday. What was worse is that they charged me over $400 for "IMPOUND" costs. WTH?? It was a smarmy move. They can't enter. After clarifying all the reasons they can't enter, it was asked if we can drive the car down? With much hesitation due to the condition of the car, we complied with the request. I had to get my vehicle towed with A&A towing when I was involved in a car accident. Tow truck driver was pretty cool, wish I remembered his name but forgot it. Unfortunately that was the only cool person in my experience. Showed up to what looked like a mobile home office, and looked sketchy. Showed up to the office and immediately when I stepped into the office, some old cranky lady was the one helping me out. My car is low so I figured maybe there would've been some damage from towing it, I took a look at the car the same day and there wasn't any additional damage caused by towing it from the location of the accident to the tow yard. After back and forth calls with insurance and tow yard, I go pick up the car several days later and pay the fee, mind you I wasn't happy to pay this but still paid it and they told me the vehicle was in there other yard, 30 mins from the office to another yard. Get there and there's a bunch of cars, took forever to find my car and when I found it, MY CAR WAS BUMPER TO BUMPER from both the front and the back. Took pictures which I will attach to this review. When they were moving the cars to get to mine, they would treat the cars like shit, most of the time dragging them. Once they get the car behind my car, they started to pull it out, and left behind a nasty dent, I noticed the bottom of the car was scratched up, the mufflers were bent, and someone purposely stepped on my aftermarket side splitter. When you tow a car, you take on the responsibility of damages your tow company does, The company could've easily denied taking in my car if they would fear they would damage it. When they start dragging my car out, they had a lady that was training and I kid you not the only words this lady would say is "I'm training", that was before she started on my car. She was struggling hooking my car up since it was low, and turned around to tell me "why's your car so freaking low dude" when they were pulling my car, they made more damage to the rear since they didn't care. Mike was the tow guy who was moving around the cars and training this lady. Mike was cool, and after asking him how I should go about the damages they had caused, he properly pointed me to the right direction on who to get a hold of. There also was someone else there, his name was Leroy, who was rude AF probably wasn't having a good day. I had asked if he could take pictures of the car since I was going to be taking them and he said we already have the pictures, when they didn't take any pictures at all of the damages they've done. After multiple calls back and forth with the insurance and tow yard, the insurance told me to get a hold of the tow yard for them to fix the damages they've done. Initially they had told me to get a quote for the damages and when I got the quote I sent it, getting the impression that they were going to pay for the damages, but I was wrong. Holly, the lady who was the main contact, was nice at first, but after a few calls, she was trying to say that the insurance paid out my car, how I was trying to take advantage of the situation and how they aren't going to pay for the damages since I was already paid out, mind you this wasn't the case. How come there wasn't a problem when you took my money, and when it comes time for them to pay for DAMGES THEY'VE DONE, all of a sudden there's a problem. How are you going to charge CUSTOMERS to keep there car stored away, but instead of keeping them safe locked up in a gate, you neglect it damaging it. Take your business somewhere else. We have to let the owners of A&A know how much we were fortunate to have Nick as our tow truck driver. He took great care in loading our car that got a flat in Fernley. We are from the Bay Area and were headed to Lovelock for a Portuguese Festa with our 2 eldest kids. We have run flat tires and they are not necessarily run flats. We tried to drive back to Sparks when the car started to feel unsafe to continue. We called so many different tire shops and we have special low profile tires that are run flats that only one shop had them. Nick towed us to the shop which was located in a trailer park. He was concerned, just as we were and stayed with us to make sure we would be okay. While my husband was sorting out the details with the tire shop, Nick let us stay in the truck until everything was settled. He didn't have to stay with us or be so accommodating. He went above and beyond the normal call of duty and we truly appreciated that. I highly recommend their tow service. Had a great experience with this company. My alternator went out suddenly and I couldn't make it all the way over to the side of the road. It was 97 degrees outside, with no shade in sight and Jordan from A & A towing came out in a very timely manner, was polite, professional, and took good care of my vehicle.
